For the first time ever, you can purchase The Ex Games, The Private Club, After The Ex Games, & The Love Trials in one book. This book is over 800 pages long.
The Ex Games
Handsome billionaire, Brandon Hastings was Katie Raymond's first love. They had a whirlwind romance that captivated her heart and took her on a sexual journey she never wanted to end. Their future together looked bright until Brandon found out that Katie was keeping a huge secret from him. Once he realized the truth, he broke her heart and she never saw him again. Seven years later, Katie has finally moved on and accepts the position of her dreams at Marathon Corporation as an executive manager. The only problem is, Brandon Hastings bought the business a month after she started working there. Now Katie has to fly to San Francisco to attend a company-wide orientation and she is scared that Brandon is going to fire her on sight. Little does she know that Brandon has lot more planned for her and this time he's the one keeping a secret.
The Private Club
What happens at the private club stays at the private club!
When Meg Riley lost her job as an attorney, she never thought she'd end up working for a private club. But when she met the handsome and elusive, Greyson Twining, she knew she couldn't turn the job down; even though she didn't really know what the position entailed.
Greyson Twining is the owner of the private club and he knows that it's a mistake to hire, Meg. However, there is something about the way she smiles at him that makes him forget his own reservations. And then there's the call from, Brandon Hastings telling him not to hire Meg. A call he should have listened to more closely.
As, Meg and Greyson embark on day one of training, neither of them realize that there are secrets about to come out that will completely alter both of their lives.
After The Ex Games
Can love exist when secrets are revealed and promises are broken?
When Brandon Hastings and Greyson Twining started the private club, they never knew just how much it was going to change their lives. Power, greed, sex, and money filled their brains, but love never touched them.
When Katie Raymond and Meg Riley entered their lives, everything they thought they knew about life changed. They realized that love meant more to them than anything else and they were ready to start their lives anew. However, the course of true love never runs smoothly and happiness and marriage may not be in their futures.
When secrets from the past are revealed and lies are exposed, both men fear they will lose the love of their lives. Brandon and Greyson know that they only have one chance to make everything right, but the one person they are counting on to help them, may be the one person who wants to take them both down.
The Love Trials
She thought she knew what was between the sheets, but she really had no idea.
I thought I knew what I was getting into when I received the invitation from the lovers academy. I thought I was going for love. I had no idea that the lovers academy cared more about what happened between the sheets than it did a meeting of the minds and souls.
This isn’t your regular love story. My Prince Charming didn’t ride up on a white horse and come and save me. In fact, he warned me to stay away from him. Of course, I didn’t listen. Why would I? There’s something so exciting about going after someone you shouldn’t have.
However, I never thought it would be like this. I’ve never felt so conflicted in my life. No one told me that being bad could feel so good.
You luckies are going to have a great read with this complete box set of these wonderful series of books by the fabulous JS Cooper, which are separate, yet all connected. The following are my reviews of the separate box sets.
THE EX GAMES Now when I read these, they were separate and not in the box set, so first you are so lucky to not have to wait for the story to continue. This is the story of Brandon and Katie. They first met when she was a freshman in college and he is an established business man. They are now meeting again, 7 years later. He has been her only love and though she tries hard she is still in love with him. To be truthful I thought Brandon was a total dick in this story, but JS Cooper's writing still kept me wanting to know more, to see if there is any redemption. In the end I was glad I finished the series and it totally made me a JS Cooper fan.
THE PRIVATE CLUB If you read Ex Games, you'll be familiar with characters in this series. If not, the series can be read separate and wet your appetite to read Ex Games. This is the story of Meg and Greyson (I so love this character). Meg applies for a job at The Private Club, thinking to be a bartender and meets Greyson, one of the owners. Yet, the Private Club is more than it seems. Greyson is more than he seems too. This is a great way to purchase this series, so you don't have to wait between books. JS Cooper has the most amazing ideas for her books and just when you think you know where it is going, she totally surprises you.
AFTER THE EX GAMES What you thought you knew from Th Ex Games and Private Club series will throw you for a loop with this sequel. I never saw this coming! Way to go JS Cooper.
THE LOVE TRIALS Nancy gets an invite to join the Lovers Academy from her former crush an excitedly goes. She can't wait to hook up with him. When she finds out Hunter isn't her instructor but Jaxon (love this name) is she is confused. What exactly do you learn at the Lovers Academy. Things become strange and Nancy doesn't know what to do. She is starting to have these cravings and feelings for Jaxon and wonders if Hunter really remembers her. Through heard whispers Nancy starts to wonder why she was asked to come here in the first place. I read this as 3 separate stories, with wonderful cliff hangers that you lucky reader of this box set won't have to anxiously await. It has intrigue and hot steamy sex! Not recommended for under 18 yrs. old.
Enjoy these steamy romances and get reading today!!
I have a lot of mixed feelings about this set. It ended incomplete. A lot of the circumstances I found to be very unlikely or even believable for that matter. Regardless I still felt the need to read until I had completed the set, which in itself says something.
No spoilers....This book is a box set so I will review each group. The Ex Games I enjoyed reading this set. I fell in love with Brandon and Katie, they were so cute together and then of course my heart had to be crushed. I have to say I didn't feel the same way about Brandon in the second book. I wanted him to redeem himself, to fight to show his love. The ending felt a little lack luster to me. I felt like the ending was rushed and the HEA was just handed to them without the proper amount of work. The writing style is great and the book drags you in. The book is written in both Katie's and Brandon's POV. I loved the quirky banter between the two characters and I loved how Katie finally realized her worth. There were a few things that were left unanswered some very important things. I am left scratching my head as to how these things can be left unanswered. All I can do is hope these things will be answered in the finale.
The Private Club: I cannot tell you how much I love Greyson. Anyways He is my favorite man of all three. He was actually worthy of forgiveness. Meg is too cute she is feisty and doesn't just give into him. She actually makes him work for her affection. I loved the suspense of the story and the fact that you don't know who to trust and who to love. What I didn't like was I felt like Meg and Greysons story had to share with Katie and Brandon. I felt like they got jipped a little. I didn't want it to be about them I wanted it to be about Meg and Greyson. Again in the end of the book we are just left with a quick wrap up and an assumption that everything will be ok. I understand that there is going to be a finale however I felt like they deserve a proper ending to this portion of their story. This story though was mostly resolved. There were a few questions that were still left unanswered, but I am just assuming that those will be answered in the finale book.
The Love Trials: This book was HOT!!! I loved and Hated Jaxon but OMG it was hot. I really fell in love with Nancy and wanted her to find happiness. I was irritated throughout this book. Going back and forth about who to trust and who to go to. By the end of the book I was fed up. I was basically over it. I don't know that Jaxon is worth the fight, and I don't know if knowing what the reader knows we can forgive him. Again at the end of the book we get a quick wrap up where nothing is answered to satisfaction and I was left with my jaw on the floor thinking surely this can't be it. I once again am hopeful that the finale book will answer all of the questions and give the females of the stories some respect back. This book was the only one out of all of them that I noticed grammatical errors. They don't bother me much unless they disrupt the flow of a book. The errors were not severe.
I gave the box set 4 stars. I enjoyed the writing style. The books are written in multiple POV. I really liked reading this series, and would recommend it. I will be buying the finale when it is available.
I still have a lot of questions. The story with Jaxon and Nancy still has some unanswered questions...where did Jaxon go after he left the altar...what happened with Amber and the other two women...are we seeing them in the Finale. Is the wedding for Brandon, Katie, Greyson and Meg apart of the finale and where does the story continue with Jaxon and Nancy....where was Hunter being held and what do they have on him and him on them.....
Brandon is a man of many secrets, he seems hypocritical to me. I believe he loves Katie but his way of doing things is a bit much for my taste. The finale holds the keys to who Brandon really is. I have a feeling he has a done a lot of other shady things
Greyson seems to be a good and bad guy. One thing I can say about him he maybe cruel but at least he is honest. The box set was a good read and I am anticipating the finale.
There's just too much in this box set to put all into a simple review. There are so many twists and different stories and lies and deception that you just keep reading and thinking what the f*** is going on. The books will suck you in and you want to continue to find out what the conclusion is going to be. You have two best friends with one of them falling in love, and another one lose your job and going off and fall in love with another one that happens to be friends with the other male character and there's just so many twists and different adventures happening you just keep reading to figure out how's this going to end. You definitely want to have time on your hands to be able to continuously read goes by super fast and worth it. It is all really odd and now realistic in many ways but that is what makes it great.
If you love books by JS Cooper you will love this series. You'll meet Branden and Katie who fall in love under false pretenses. Meg and Greyson who bring new meaning to love and trust as nothing is as it seems for them and Nancy and Jaxon who fall in love based on lies and manipulation with a little twist of murder as well.
These books are filled with Hot Dirty Talking Alpha Males, Love and Devotion, a bit of suspense and a lot of twists and turns but i fell in love with each one of them and couldn't put them down until i finished them. On a scale of 1-10 they are by far a 10 and a must read.
WOW is all I can say. You get four great love stories with many detours and so many lies along the way in boxed set. Katie and Meg are best friends...Brandon and Greyson are best friends. You first meet Brandon and Katie in the Ex Games. Then Greyson and Meg in the Private Club along with a dose of Nancy. Then everything wraps up neatly in After the Ex Games. The final book is The Love Trials where Nancy goes to try and attract her high school love, Hunter who also happened to be her teacher. Enter Jaxson who has his own agenda and web of lies. Can't wait for the Finale books to come out.
The Ex Games Series Loved this series and it is my favorite of J.S, Cooper. Brandon and Katie love, love them!
The Private Club Series This series had my head spinning in a throwing your Kindle way.
The Ex Games Series This one was as good as The Ex Games, LOVED IT!
The Love Trials Series This series was also a head spinner and Nancy mad me mad most of the series but if you love novellas J.S. Cooper is a master at them and makes you want more after each on.
I had to preorder the final book before I was even finished with this one. There are times that I hated all the men in this book, but even though I hated them, I also loved them. You will understand that when you read this book, and I really recommend that you read it. Now even though the sex is hot, hot, hot, the storyline is even better. This book is really many books, but is also really one book. It is really worth much more than it costs.
This book here was so crazy and wild. I couldn't put it down. I was so excited to read what would happen next. I'm glad Meg and Greyson got together. I'll be glad when Brandon and Katie finally get married. Now MIss Nancy I just really don't know what's wrong with that girl. Jaxon really put something on that virgin pocket book. GREAT BOOK! Recommend it to all romance readers.
I love the suspense you just never knew who was good and who was bad and we still don't. I can't wait for the final story. Hot hot story and then it tugs at your heart too. I could not stop. Such a talented writer as I don't know how you come up with these wonderful stories.
I can't believe I wasted an entire weekend reading these books. All they consisted of was sex lying and fighting. The last of the three books had to be the worse book I have ever read. I hoped that they would get better, boy was I wrong.
These books are amazing, they are all very well written. The characters were very well developed and they all had their own problems and secrets. I couldn't put these books down. I highly recommend this series to anyone and everyone.
Loved this series, wow, surely didn't see all this suspense, mystery, who did what, when in this romantic set of books, absolutely loved them, didn't see that ending coming, great read.
I read all the books because it was a boxed set. Had I read then one by one I probably would have stopped after the first one. It was a little bland until Nancy and Jaxon.
I loved this collection!! I literally could not stop reading. There are so many unexpected turns that you don't ever really know what's going to happen next!!! Love, love, love it!! And happy endings and hot sex make it so much better!!!
Overall the series was really good and the stories tied together well. but, the last story was rather strange. The whole setup with the love Academy and the teachers was odd. There were just too many reasons to leave than to stay, so u just don't understand why it continued.
Horrible writing!!! Good grief! The story itself wasn't that bad it did have potential, it's just the writing was sooooooo awful. Also, the characters were not likeable, and there's lots of sex scenes with no reason except to just throw in a sex scene.
Jaxon and Nancy story was the best. the other two were ok but crazy. I like all the mystery and sex. but seem like the books could of ended without now having to wait for the ending.
Just read the ex games and started the after the ex games and then just decided to throw in the towel. I can't do any more "games" just for the hell of it.
This is an awsome set of books by J S C it is amazing and fantasic read. Not only do we have some very dirty scenes but each set follows after the next and carries on. It is definity a read
Amazing love stories and exciting twists and turns. Once you start reading this series you won't be able to stop. Very well written I love this author.
