Holy hell that was one hot read! I love sexy books and novellas. I can’t get enough of them. It’s so hard for me to rate them 5 stars, no matter how hot, because of lack of story. Thats the main thing I loved about this novella. It was insanely hot, but there was actually a story in there. A story I really liked and am looking forward to reading more of!
Violet is married, but her marriage has been falling apart for the longest time. Her husband loved her once, but now he constantly carries on affairs and she’s lucky if he comes home at night before she’s in bed. Violet’s life is comfortable, but she’s had enough. She can’t stay in this life. She wants to start living, get out there and find herself. She wants to open up and figure out what she wants. She wants to explore her self and her sexuality.
She finds a way to do that… going right down the rabbit hole. Violet has decided to take the next year and spend her life how she wants. She wants to be open to experience new things, to have her every desire fulfilled. She meets a man that just might be able to fulfill her every fantasy. Rhys.
Rhys and Violet together… that connection and the heat. It was just so damn sexy and intense.
I don’t want to go into what happens between Violet and Rhys, but I will say it’s not what I expected to happen. I’m anxious to see where the story will go. There is a small cliffhanger at the end, but it’s a serial novella so that’s going to happen. It’s nothing so extreme it would deter people from reading.
Sexual Awakening is the perfect title for this novella. If you’re looking for a smoking hot read with a great story, interesting characters and captivating writing, I would recommend this one. It was a real winner for me!

WOW!!!!
That is what I said to myself as soon as I finished this book.
I had seen all the great reviews and was a little worried that I would not feel the same as everyone else. It has happened to me before. I am happy to say I am in agreement with all the RAVE reviews!! I have found another book boyfriend who is worth the SWOON!!
Ladies you have got to read this, to meet Rhys!!
Violet is a woman whose marriage is a disaster. Her husband has been having multiple affairs and she's known this for quite some time. It has been a very long time since she's had sex and she is looking to change this situation. She decides it's time to have her own affair and she's going to get as kinky as she wants. She goes online in search for a place to go to get all of her wildest sexual fantasies fulfilled and comes across a website for a club called The Rabbit Hole. Once on the site she gets a chat request from someone called The Mad Hatter. A short chat with sexy innuendos ensues and within a week she receives a request to meet this sexy stranger in person.
Violet ends up at the Rabbit Hole which turns out to be a very posh sex club. She gets an eye full of a couple at the bar and hell if I didn't need to stop and fan myself a few times. In real life, we all know it is highly unlikely that the guy you've never seen and have only chatted with online, will turn out to be gorgeous, rich, single, have a huge penis and knows how to use it. Well this is exactly what Violet gets in Mr.Rhys Volz. He has to be all these things for a reader to really enjoy this story. This reader freaking LOVED it!!! Rhys is just about everything I want in a man. He offers to fulfill all of Violet's sexual fantasies but he has some rules he demands she adheres to.

Every time Rhys and Violet meet up the scenes are definitely panty melting HAWT!!! But they are also slowly getting closer and there is tenderness between them. Violet is scared of her growing feelings for Rhys. This is not what she wanted. All she was looking for was some really amazing sex without any complications, but she was starting to see that there was so much more to Rhys and that maybe she had found the perfect man for her. She kept some secrets from him which may end up destroying what was starting to develop between them.
Luckily book two is queued up in my Kindle App and I'm going to dive right in!!

The first in a series of serials, 'The Waltz' pulled me in and left me craving more. At less than 100 pages, this serial can be easily read in one sitting. The story was engaging and entertaining from start to finish.
Violet, aka "Vi", is stuck in a loveless marriage. Her husband, Alex, doesn't even try to hide his indiscretions at this point, talking loudly on the phone with his mistresses while Vi is in earshot, etc. Alex clearly has no regard for Vi or her feelings.
Past the point of caring, Vi decides that she is going to pursue a divorce. In the meantime, she decides that she has been without the physical connection to a man for long enough. She decides to explore some of her wilder, secret sexual fantasies.
After searching around the Internet for like-minded individuals, she runs across a private chat room and a private sex club, The Rabbit Hole. It is there that she meets Rhys, the club owner and man of her fantasies.
The two begin to explore Vi's limits and engage in a steamy affair. However, Vi hasn't been completely honest with Rhys. Eventually, her lie comes back to bite her and she risks losing the man she's falling in love with.
Overall, this was a great, quick read. I liked the characters and the storyline. There was enough angst to keep me anticipating the next move. I will be starting the second book immediately.

I am going to begin with a little back story. I signed up to read this book because I love serials and I love sexy reads. What I didn’t expect, was to be completely blown away with a real story with so much heart.
Violet has been married to Alex for three years. In those three years she has tried to be the perfect wife. Throughout the years Alex began to pull away from her. She has tried engaging him mentally and physically, going as far as to buy lingerie in an attempt to seduce him. After he turns her down multiple times Violet begins to think something is wrong with her, then she learns he has been carrying on multiple affairs. Devastated by this revelation Violet begins to withdraw.
Violet is mentally and physically frustrated. She can’t remember the last time she had sex or any intimacy with Alex. She has been getting by with her vibrator and erotic, romance novels. After reading her many novels she decides to do a little research to find these “sex clubs” she is always reading about. Of course, her search comes up empty and she deems this a lost cause until she receives an alert requesting a password. Violet decides to live carelessly, since her marriage is all but over and she is just waiting until after the holidays to file for divorce, and go down the rabbit hole.
“So I had a plan. I’d decided during my drive to give myself a year of no holds barred sexual exploration.”
What Violet doesn’t anticipate is meeting a man who just might be her perfect match. This goes against all her plans, she is supposed to allow herself this one year to be adventurous, live life the fullest, no regrets…but letting him go could turn into one of her biggest regrets.
Like I said before this story completely blew me away. First, this book is hot as fuck, and the hero is totally into some kinky shit, but not because there is anything that is wrong with him…no, he just enjoys pleasing a woman.
So yes, this story is about Sexual Awakening, but it also has so much heart. Violet is an average woman, who did everything she could to make her husband love her, to want to be with her. She isn’t trying to gain anything from divorcing from Alex, she just wants to know what is it is like to be desired and loved again. She is lonely and Alex has stripped her of herself worth. In the end, I found Violet to be very likable and I could understand her struggles and heartbreak.
I am so excited to see where things go with this serial, I think it is off to a great start.

4.5 refreshingly-erotic stars
Right off the bat I can say Violet came to life, she was easy to sympathize with, not because you felt pity but because something about her just make you want to relate to her in any level you can. I found myself pissed off on her behalf and cheering her on as she made her intentions known. Vi is not your average female, she somehow knows enough of what she wants to not be completely blind but innocent in her reactions to make things exciting.
Jumping right in and taking the ultimate risk, she meets Rhys, or in reality he finds her...now this is a man that has the whole package, tall-dark-handsome, smart, dominant, sensual and confident. Violet pretty much hit the jack pot with him. He is playful and teasing but never in a demeaning way, only when he wants to give her a hard time about the things she thought she knew based on the books she's read. (See totally relate-able, lol.) The dynamics of the two although lust filled and sexual, is not all about sex; Rhys treats her as a lady and is can be a complete gentlemen when the mood strikes him, throwing her completely off balance.
She didn't anticipate things progressing as fast as they did when she still has her real life to iron out or did she remember what it was like to be with a man who is possessive, jealous and dominant in all ways. Clearly a man like Rhys doesn't like complication and her shituation is as complicated as they get... Is she about to lose the one good thing she hasn't even had the chance to wrap her head around ???

The story is told from Violet's POV, but I would have liked Rhys's POV too.
I’m curious how everything will progress between them, so I will raed the next installment/s. The story ends with a little cliffy, but nothing big.

My first thoughts when reading this were, “This is fucking hot!!!! Why in the world did I wait so long to start this series???" Rhys Volz someone I should have met a while ago!! lol!! And, Violet Harvell is no slouch either. She is one sassy and smart woman!

The story begins with Violet facing the disintegration of her marriage to her once upon a time best friend. She’s sad and has cried many tears but finds the necessary strength to reach out and seek change. She’s determined to live out and discover her fantasies. It’s time for her…. Sexual Awakening
Rhys is good looking in the extreme with his mysteriously dark, enigmatic ways. I found him intriguing and needed to know more.... What's his story? And of course he’s ultra sexy providing our heroine with some deliciously erotic delights.
The story drew me in during the opening chapter with it's fast pace and the voice of the heroine..... The story all falls perfectly into place..… Rhys and the fetish bar easily become part of the story giving it a fairy-tale-like quality, which is a lovely thing.
In some respects this story ticks all my romantic, erotic loving needs but in other areas I wished for a little more to fulfill my personal tastes.... I found the lack of contractions in some of the dialogue detracted from the authentic feel of the character's conversations, making them seem a little stilted and, consequently, affecting the flow of my read and connection to the heroine.
This book is erotically enticing and has great potential so I was keen to continue on to the next volume; I especially wanted more of our hero. If an erotic read is just your thing then check out this series.

I guess I'm in the minority amongst my friends, but this book just didn't work for me. While the story had potential, I wasn't happy with its delivery. I didn't feel the connection between main charachters and found their "relationship" a bit too business like. They met, they started having sex and that's all. When the sex scenes are supposed to be hot, they were just awkward for me. I also think heroine was a bit too quick and dissolute when rediscovering her long gone sex life. I caught myself waiting for the scenes with cheating husband to get some thrill from angst, and he was secondary character.... that should be saying something. I may or may not check the 2nd part just to see where the story goes, but with so many books on my TBR... well, I'll see....

4 'I Love Mexican' Stars
This was one hot, panty-dropping read!

The symbolism and references to Alice in Wonderland and the adventure that Vi is about to embark on are everywhere.
Rhys, aka Madhatter aka (my personal favourite) Mr. Thick Cock is just my kind of guy.
His commanding ways, cocky come backs and all around Alpha sexiness is HOT, HOT, HOT and Vi agrees as her body responds in a way she only dreamed of.

loved this short read, looking forward to reading the next one. enjoyed that the female character finds her backbone and it shines in this book. that and the sex was pretty damn hot!!

Well it was HOT
I didn't expect the story to turn out the way it is but I liked it.
Violet is a wife but she got nothing from her husband. It's been years he haven't touched her, he doesn't even get home and now Violet wants it to stop! She wants a divorce and she wants a sexual life.
Not quite sure, what she is looking for, she knows she wants to experiment sex like in the books she read. She starts looking on the internet and found a mysterious site "The Rabbit Hole".
She quickly realize that this is also a sex bar where she meet the owner, Rhys.
Rhys is mysterious and while at first I thought he would be all business and no personal, it's a total different man we met.
Rhys is a man with feelings and emotions. He's a pretty normal guy with a job and the bar was given to him years ago. He's confident sexual speaking but there's more to him than that.
I will read the second book immediately because I can't wait to know what will happen between Violet and him. Where at first, I thought it would be all about the sex experience, this book turns out to be more personal and I like it a LOT!

She doesn’t quite know what she wants, but she knows she wants to try it all. When she discovers an online ad, it brings her to the Rabbit Hole, and to Rhys. A man that offers to give her everything she wants as long as she’s willing to adhere to the rules. His rules.
This was a fantastic start to this serial series. Although I was finding it difficult to not want to slap her over her lack of following through with her decision... I still found myself completely committed to this story and these two characters.
I loved that Rhys was mysterious. There is something about him that just screams secrets. He seems so at ease as the dominant male, leading her on this journey but at the same time so at ease with creating something deeper than just a sexual relationship.
In just a handful of pages, the author gripped me. I connected to the characters, to their story.

Violet is so much like any other woman wanting to know and explore her sexuality. Yes, and when a woman is not appreciated, she wants her freedom so much.
Rhys. He's mysterious. I didn't quite get the feel of him yet.
So, this is a page turner for me. But I'm not quite into that part where I'm feeling giddy and excited. I haven't get myself immersed yet into the story, although with Violet, I totally get her. And I feel her.
