Hi Max,

I just finished Haunting, and I had to reach out. This isn’t just a paranormal thriller it’s a raw, emotionally charged journey into grief, obsession, and rebirth.

What stood out to me most was how you captured Conner’s descent into despair with such brutal honesty then flipped it into a dark, supernatural awakening. The emotional hooks were real. You didn’t just write about death and loss you sold the feeling of being haunted by love, regret, and unresolved pain. That’s rare.

The shift in Conner from broken man to something primal and unstoppable felt like a metaphor for what lies beneath the surface in all of us. It reminded me of what Alex Hormozi talks about: giving people a dramatic, life-altering transformation and you delivered that through storytelling.

It’s like you combined deep human psychology (Brian Tracy would applaud the emotional triggers) with an irresistible offer: What if your pain opened a door to power… and danger? That question kept me hooked.

Another great work by Maxxx this one has everything mystery, romance, intrique, ghost hunting, voodoo, the supernatural & of course abit of hot sex. I enjoyed reading Haunting as i love ghost hunting and the paranormal and this certainly lived up to expectations. It follows the story of Connor and the mystery behind his wife Karolina's death with abit of intrique and ghost hunting thrown in to help solve the mystery. Maxxx manages to throw in his usual humour in the sex scenes tho instead of a military throw this time its of the ghost hunting genre.I recommend this book as i really enjoyed it, though one will need to have the kleenex handy for obvious reasons. Haunting does have the mystery solved but another mystery has been revealed so there will be another paranoramal romance book in this The Hexed series by Maxxx so looking forward to the next book in this series.

I have to say I have been a fan of Maxxx for a very long time, and it was fantastic to see him write something along these lines.
I have always preferred the read of a paranormal over anything else. And Maxxx took it to the next level with this one.
The plot line was not like anything he has written before but he pulled it off with flying colors. My heart broke while reading the pain and suffering. While at the same time in true Maxxx fashion you needed to get a new pair of underwear from the sheer hotness factor.
I really do hope that Maxxx continues with this series... Job well done Maxxx

While I enjoy Maxxx's other work, haunting would have to be my favorite so far.It is good to see authors push passed what is considered as normal and introduce you to another plot line. Maxxx writes his characters so well it makes you think he is actually talking about people he knows. What I love about this author is his attention to detail. You can clearly see he has done his research.
Well done on another fantastic read maxxx can't wait to see what you come up with next.

I enjoyed max Cummings first paranormal venture it was a Mic of life,love,lose and new beginnings and understanding ,with Mac's trademark hot sex and humour,I loved the way he wrote Mama D bringing her character to life.
