To all the authors who write crafty " How to books", Listen up; We fellow readers love it tremendously, when you include pictures to go along with your step by step instructions! It not only saves us money by allowing us to visually see what we are making, and whether or not we want to spend the time and cash to make the project, but I think the pictures make the instructions easier to understand.
Holly Port not only delivers on the pictures with her recipes, but I dare say, If you were to follow the recipes as written, you will have beautiful bath bombs!
I tried a few of the recipes and so far they all have came out gorgeous. No more puffy, ugly, warty looking bath bombs (that sometimes resemble alien cat turds) here. They look pretty darn good actually. Thanks all to Holly's instructions.
If you love bath bombs but detest making them, I urge you to get this book. It will help transform the next bath bomb you make. Especially if your previous bombs looked anything like mine did. ( Sometimes I swear those things had a mind all their own.)
I gave this book Five stars, not only for the much needed wonderful pictures, that too many writers of craft books fail to include, But also because these recipes so far have worked! (And if you have spent anytime making at home body products, you know what I mean by this.)
This book is a must have. Get it now and say good bye to those alien clumps of kitty litter.
It's supposed to be a book for beginners but personally I think there are way too many ingredients needed for these bath bombs for this book to be for beginners. Most of the bath bomb recipes I've found else where calls for way less. I guess though it's still gives you some good recipes if you have a lot of time to do them but if not it's not worth it.
Book loaded with recipes and techniques for the novice to the experienced bath fizzie maker. Appreciate the authors dedication to perfecting the process and sparing new crafters the frustration of making common mistakes. Looking forward to using the recipes myself!
I love this book. It might seem like these bath bombs are more complicated to make, but they make some amazing bath bombs! I love a lot of the other recipes in this book too. It's been worth every penny I spent on it. I recommend it to those interested in making bath bombs.
There are many mistakes that her editor probably should have found but this book had some helpful tips and seemingly good recipes. All and all, I'm excited to tweak some of my own recipes.
