This is part 4 of 4 in a paranormal romance serial.
Two years ago, voluptuous she-wolf Aspen ran from her shifter pack. With females of her kind getting increasingly rare, she knew if she stayed she'd be pressured into mating with Rafe, the gorgeous, blue-eyed son of the alpha. Not that she hasn't always adored him, but she couldn't stand the thought of a mating of convenience.
Now she's back, on the run from a dangerous stalker and emitting pheromones that make every wolf nearby want to claim her. But this time, Rafe is determined she'll be his. He just needs to convince her that he has always wanted her, and it was never about convenience.
Important note from the author! Alpha Gamesis a romance serial about a female wolf shifter and the three sexy alphas she’s destined to choose between. The story is told in novella length episodes with cliff-hangers. I know that this format isn’t for everyone, but I love serials and find they keep things exciting for me as a writer. I hope you enjoy if you decide to still read it.
Terry is the author of over forty bestselling shifter romances. She spends her spare time dreaming of dragons, playing with her pets, and watching sunsets from her home in the mountains alongside her husband (who she suspects would make a great bear shifter). She loves the wild outdoors, her fans, all readers, and getting lost in a great book.

I thought the first three parts of this series were ok. They weren't anything to write home about, but just ok. This one was a disappointment all around. It seemed rushed, from the storyline to the editing. There were several major glaring errors in editing, the dialogue was not even close to what real people would say, and the storyline was boring and predictable. I wish I could get my ninety-nine cents back. There was no depth to the characters. The only good thing to say about it was I didn't invest a lot of time reading it. It was extremely short! I'm sorry, but this one is not worth your time.
Easy and fast read. There wasn't a deep story line or unexpected twist. So it didn't take much concentration to read this series. It wasn't bad, just another werewolf love story.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The final volume in the Alpha Games serial focuses on Aspen’s return to a world she once fled, dealing with fierce pack dynamics and her own conflicted feelings for Rafe. Aspen’s struggle to assert her independence against the pressure to mate blends well with the paranormal romance tension. The story’s mix of danger, romantic pursuit, and personal growth creates a satisfying conclusion. The novella format’s cliffhanger style keeps things fast-paced and engaging, though some readers may find the resolution a bit quick after the build-up.
This is the ending to the Alpha Games story. It takes up where #3 left off. Rafe and Aspen are in a van kidnapped by humans for Fang her ex boyfriend . They arrive at a remote location & the humans tell Fang's pack members that they have delivered her along with a little surprise (Rafe). It's at this point that Rafe jumps up tears through his binding ropes and throws the humans out the front window (it isn't clear if they die or if they are the ones running off to the woods). Then he fights the pack members, leaving at least one alive to go tell Fang that he is there to kick his butt. He lets him go and he runs off to do as bid. Rafe then tells Aspen to come with him, he is going to take care of Fang once & for all so he doesn't try this again (one has to wonder why he thinks this pack would fight honorably when they have kidnapped Aspen). Rafe & Aspen then go through the woods until they arrive at the clearing where the pack alpha is waiting. Rafe tells Aspen to wait in the bushes then he goes and talks to the alpha who of course is just as bad as Fang and tells Rafe to go home as they are keeping Aspen. At this point Fang finds Aspen and makes her go out to stand with Rafe. Rafe being who he is tells them he will fight to the death for Aspen because she is his. Then he turns to Aspen & finally says what she should have known all along - that he loves her & he had been waiting till their mating to tell her. Then all hell breaks loose. He has told Aspen to run so she does, but is chased by some of the pack members. She decides to make a stand on top of the van because the tires are all flat and can't be driven. She makes a feeble (I think) attempt but is pulled off the van & magically there is Rafe to defend her. At this point I am almost sorry for Rafe, as I can't see Aspen being strong enough to actually be the alpha female. Rafe naturally is holding his own when his pack appears out of thin air -to the rescue. They all go home (of course there's more to the story) but you have to have something to read. This story does have a happy ending but, good grief, I am so annoyed by Aspen it's anticlimactic. This story lends itself to more stories especially...what happens to the other two alpha competitors but you will have to decide if it's worth having cliffhanger endings and only chapter length books. I have read books of this style before but the authors at least made an attempt to make them somewhat standalone books, this one does not. Sorry Ms Bolryder but that's beyond annoying, & really overshadowed the story which I would have rated a little higher.
Beautiful Alpha Werewolf Aspen has returned to her home after running for two years from her pack obligations...to mate the Alpha, Rafe. After touring Europe with a lesser werewolf male as her traveling companion who wants Aspen as his mate even without her consent, Aspen decides she has no choice other that to go back to the males she was raised with. Rafe, Hawes and Lindon...each are more beautiful than the next, but Aspen has always wanted Rafe, a serious soul that is more than willing to mate her for the benefits that she will bring to the pack, but Aspen wants LOVE! And with that in mind she offers herself to the Alpha that woos her the best between the three brothers. But watching from the sidelines are those with no morals or honor, they will take what's not theirs and run with it, denying love to those who have waited for it! I sort of read these completely backwards...and that's OK with me, but for those who like to read in Order, it should be: 1)Alpha Games, 2)Alpha Contender, 3)Alpha Contender and they're all on sale right now for $00.99!
The Alpha Games was indeed a story that played games with my patience. Aspen is one of the heroines that almost made me give up the story after the second volume. The run from Rafe with another wolf. She came back to him just to have him fight against his half brothers for mating rights. For a woman who wanted choice on when to mate and her own reasons she was silly, immature and at times plain stupid. I finished the stories because I do not want to put another book to my did not finished list and because I can appreciate the writing process and hard work. Terry Bolryder please write more mature characters so I can come back and read some more because at this moment I do not want to know what happened to the other two wolfs.
This is harmless fun, a werewolf shifter romance serial. The first half had some conflict and action, but the second half was entirely mush. I guess many readers are looking for that. There's also the big reveal of Aspen's origin, which is extremely underwhelming to me. There are a few careless errors such as poor sentence structure and incorrect words. I also noticed bear for bare (bear his teeth.) Oh, and here's how Urban Dictionary defines "phased." "How illiterates spell fazed." The author makes this error at least once per novel. Still, I'm happy to have bought the book and will continue to read her work.
I really wanted to like these series. The first book was okay then the female was just too immature and no spunk. What kind of an alpha female is she when she can't even take care of herself. The only thing she does was get captured over and over. Totally did not pull me. The plot is too weak. Nothing worst than having a weak, immature, and selfish heroine. Total turned off. Writing was okay though. Don't recommend this book.
This series is a great, start for the 3 series set. I read the, second set first, but this series starts at the beginning. Love it. Terry did an awesome job. Now for the next 3 book series.
Great conclusion to the Alpha Games series. This story is about Rafe, the oldest brother to Hawthorne (Alpha Rogue Series) and Lindon (Alpha Contender Series). I loved all these books (this series and the other 2 series as well).
All I can say is I'm happy I never have to read this again. This series was horrible. Aspen was a self centered, self indulged twit whom I couldn't stand. This made it very unpleasant to read. I have already deleted this from my kindle.
Although we knew how this would end, it was nice to see how it would fill in. We also finally found out about Aspen's birth family and their connection to Rafe's. All in all a fantastic tale.
Very satisfying ending. Aspen finally gets her heart's desire . Not sure I will check out the other stories though, not a fan of these serial snap shots.
