I stumbled across this book through a recommendation.
The cover, and title, almost made me not to read it. I am glad I decided to overlook those details, and give this book an opportunity.
It was a well planned, and thought out composition. Comprising of William now a CEO. Who has suddenly reappeared as quickly as he had disappeared four years prior. Along with Isabelle a corporate lawyer who now works for his family’s company.
Will walked away foolishly believing he was protecting Isabelle. All the while Isabelle kept a secret from him because, she struggled with trust issues.
This second chance romance is an emotional roller coaster for these characters. It is a bit chaotic, messy, and is wrapped around the pressures from his entitled family.
I was surprised by how well this was composed, and not at all what I had expected. With the exception that the word and was used too often to start a sentence, unnecessarily. Never mind that it is grammatically incorrect.
This book contains open door explicit content. It is intended for mature readers aged 18, and over.
I think I would consider reading another book by this author.
Although I have not read the previous novel. There apparently is a book prior to this one. Which involves Dominic who is William’s. brother. Along with Sophia, Will’s niece.
I have a feeling readers would get more out of these stories. If they were read in consecutive order. Although it does appear to be styled as a standalone. Therefore, it is really up to the reader how much time you are interested investing.
This is a contemporary love story. We follow the long windy road to love between the MMC William and Isobelle. A random hookup we soon find out was preceded by a deep love between these main characters.
The drama of the man with blue blood credentials and the gal without them causes major problems. It is about William gaining the courage to buck his family and his lady love staying fast with her convictions.
The pacing of this story was good . It was easy to read .
I wish that I could say that I will remember this book down the road. But this storyline is all too familiar to me. It was not emotionally gripping nor did I feel much on reading it.
It is a pleasant read. But it didn’t rock my world.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. Happily, I was pleasantly surprised with this read. I found myself a bit frustrated with the FMC for being very immature and insecure, but even with that, overall the book was entertaining. I would have loved more explanation for a few scenes, but the book was wrapped up sweetly in the end.
5 stars don't even come close to how much I absolutely LOVED reading this book about Isabelle and William. This romance book is an absolute page turning book that will have you swooning over the storyline from start to finish. Sasha has done a fabulous job writing this book and I recommend you read it because it's a very enjoyable romance story.
At some point I had to skim most of the way through because I had to finish. But OMG- the timeline and all the jumping around. I can’t. I don’t know how people were all 5 stars and so excited to share how amazing it was. Like where? The story idea was good but the execution was a huge letdown.
Accidental daddy was an interesting read. And was William and Isobelle‘s story. I received an early copy of the book. And voluntarily leaving this review.
This is a very entertaining enemies-to-lovers, forbidden, second chance romance. Isabelle and William’s journey to an HEA is full of drama and issues to overcome. I enjoyed their story
