This is book is part of the Agents of STARR series and a short read.
Tristano is a CAPO for the Conti Mafia family and has been tasked with finding Midnight STARR, a hacker feeding shipment info to the DEA and ATF. He meets Lia at a nightclub and they begin seeing each other. Neither are aware that they are on opposite sides as Lia is Midnight STARR working for a secret government agency to bring down the mafia.
When Lia discovers who Tristano is, she tells him of her identity and agrees to stop targeting the Conti family.
This book has mystery, suspense, action, and a HEA for this couple who against all odds, fall in love.

The characters carried the story and they were so very dark and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Great start to the series and I look forward to more from this world. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

This is a fast read and it is full of loss, love, and revenge. Both the main characters are going after the same person, only for different reasons, him for the family and threats, her for revenge on her sisters death.
They meet before all the trouble and soon learn that they are looking for each other on the dark web, again him looking because she was a looking into his family’s business and her because the government wants to take his family down.
They fell for each other hard and will walk thur fire and hell for each other, that is the depth of their commitment and love.

Tristano and Magnolia are on opposite sides. He is tasked with bringing down the Midnight Star but to him she is the light to his darkness. She has vowed to bring down all the drug kingpins. Their union is one of uncertainty in the beginning. Can they find their path from being opposites to stand together and find happiness. This story kept me glued to the pages.

When her twin sister turns up dead for an overdose, she has even more to gain to bring down the guilty parties. The pair meet at club and have chemistry, but each have their own agendas. When she finds out who he really is, she tells him who she is.

Magnolia earned her moniker the midnight starr, through her skills and now shes aiming them towards the criminals, she lost her twin not knowing the depths of her spiral, and now Tristianos tasked with taking her down, but she wont be caight so easily and he cant face eliminating her light. Well written fast paced engaging steamy desires romance

Truly enjoyed this book! Magnolia, a secret agent hacker (the Midnight STARR), is out to stop the drug kingpins and Tristano is tasked with taking down Midnight STARR. When they meet at a club neither are aware of the others situations and the story takes an interesting turn. This story is fast paced, well written, and filled with suspense, action, and steamy goodness.
