A Love She Never Knew

Rate this book
Shanice Grant is a single mother of six, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. Between struggling to make ends meet, raising her children, and caring for her aging grandmother, she barely has time to breathe—let alone think about love. Her only focus is survival, ensuring her family has a roof over their heads and food on the table. Dating? That’s the last thing on her mind.
Shanice lives by the saying, “If it ain’t one thing, it’s another,” because hardship is all she’s ever known. So when Roman Vaughn enters her life, offering kindness, stability, and a love she’s never experienced, she doesn’t know how to accept it. Unfamiliar with being loved the right way, she instinctively pushes him away. But Rome is patient, determined to show her that love doesn’t have to come with pain.
However, even the strongest man has his limits. As Shanice battles the ghosts of her past, will she find the courage to embrace the love standing right in front of her? Or will fear cost her the happiness she never thought she deserved.

Ok

First let me say that there is NO SEX in this book. No kissing is even described. Shanice has six kids 4 baby daddy's and a part time job. Her Granny fell and was sent to a rehab facility. While her Granny was gone, her father put her out. During his conversations with her he told her that she needed to grow up.... and I agreed. I wasn't feeling her on that. Like if you do nothing else you can control your own fertility. Six kids? Girl! Come on. She met Rome and he was her knight in shining armor. He was kind, generous and supportive. Most of all he was patient. This book needs a part 2 just for us to see how real life is lifing for the couple otherwise this was a sweet lil story. I think I'm one and done if nothing else comes out featuring Shanice and Rome. It feels like we were robbed of a plot, some sizzle, and a little drama.

This book was so good Shanice had it hard rising 6 kids on her on with the help of her elderly grandmother. But it was also wrong for her family to kick her out when the grandmother had to do rehab. But Than come smooth Mr.Rome Who fail in love with her at first sight. I’m so happy she found true love this book was a 10/10 I would recommend this to anybody that love a good love story.

Beautiful

This was a beautiful story. For a single mom of six with the odds against her and even family being negative she was able to show them that she was worth it. Rome came in and did not play any games. He knew her worth and I’m so glad they got their happy ending.
