About the author

Traci Tyne Hilton is the author of The Plain Jane Mysteries, The Mitzy Neuhaus Mysteries and the Tillgiven Romantic Mysteries. When not writing she has been known to knit socks, play the spoons, and teach Sunday School, though these days she is most often seen in her role as taxi-driver to busy children.

She has been indie publishing since 2010, and though she's had offers from small and large presses, she hasn't gone hybrid yet. She was the Mystery/Suspense Category winner for the 2012 Christian Writers of the West Phoenix Rattler Contest, a finalist for Speculative Fiction in the same contest, and has a Drammy from the Portland Civic Theatre Guild. Traci is an active member of the ACFW, who was lucky enough to teach a continuing ed class on indie publishing at the 2015 conference in Dallas. She also serves on the board of her local chapter.

Traci attended Fackelbararnas Bibelskola in Holsby Brunn, Sweden, and earned a degree in History from Portland State University. She lives in the rainiest part of the Pacific Northwest with her husband the mandolin playing funeral director, two busy teens, and their dogs, Dr. Watson and Archie Goodwin. (Her family just admonished her not to forget the cat!)

A fun story to begin the series!

I am glad that Issac got a spin-off book of his own. The story is engaging and entertaining. It has a touch of romance added for fun. It is free of graphic violence. It is free of abusive and foul language. It has all the elements I enjoy when reading a mystery. Ordinarily I would rate it five-stars. However, the first-person narrations of the main two characters every other chapter kept it from being an easy read for me. I am subtracting one start in my rating for this reason.

This is a well-written, clean, and fun read. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading mysteries.

I loved this story. The characters are very believable and the things which happen whilst seeming crazier and crazier are in fact what could happen to someone in the same circumstances. A great read.

Traci Tyne Hilton is Really Good.

I was mesmerized by this story. The explanation of the settings made me want to head to Sweden. At the same time I felt like I was already there. I have not had a chance to read a book set in Sweden before. It is close to my heart because my husband's family is from Sweden. This book is about a teacher and mentor at a Christian school in Sweeden. After a break from school, some of the kids under his care don't come back. One of the girls, Dani, is begging him to go with her to help find her sister. He decides it's not a good idea, until he realizes one of the children that is missing has medical issues that could prove fatal, and has left with the sister of the other missing girl. Their misadventures tracking the missing kids get them in big trouble, but they are set on saving the missing kids. I highly recommend this book and will be anxiously awaiting for the next book in this series. I got a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Get a copy today and see for yourself. Picked this up because I enjoyed the Plain Jane I read, and I figured it'd be along the side quality. The writing was fine; the plot just blew my mind (not in a good way). This Isaac Daniels really should not be a "professor." At 24, he's just as immature as his students, who are more immature than most 24-year-olds I remember...He's still falling for his students. Dani Honeywell is a student at his bible college, and when her sister runs away, she heads out after her...across Europe...with another student. That student happens to be diabetic. Now, anyone who's a diabetic knows they wouldn't leave for an undetermined amount of time w/o their insulin, but yup, he does. Anyway, Isaac is left in charge (again, why? he's the newbie professor!), so he leaves the school on its own and heads out after them. Just full of bad choices.

This was a fun, lighthearted travel mystery with inspirational overtones. characters were believable and relatable, although the entire drama was a bit overdone. I enjoyed the quality of scene setting in various parts of Europe.
