Collinsport is over. And, after recent events, Maggie Evans just doesn't care any more. She grew up here, she fell in love here, she grieved here. But no more. Maggie wants out. But there's a problem as this town won't let her go. Collinsport has unfinished business with Maggie. Maggie finds herself trapped in the empty streets, pursued by an old friend who wants only one thing. To make her happy. But Maggie Evans doesn't believe in happy endings any more. Kathryn Leigh Scott (Maggie Evans), Jonathon Marx (Sheriff Jim Hardy), Colin Baker (Gerald Conway), Ryan Wichert (Leviathan Voices), Barra Collins (James Moore), James Lawrence (Doctor James Balthazar).

James also spent seven years working on the BBC's official Doctor Who website and co-wrote the website for Torchwood Series One. In 2007, he won the Best Adaptation category in the annual LA Weekly Theatre Awards for his version of Douglas Adams' novel Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.
I thought this was an excellent audio-book about Maggie, Nicholas, and the Leviathans. Set in 1973, right after the "Beyond the Grave" broadcast, it deals with the aftermath - particularly Maggie's despair. She encounters who she thought was Gerald Conway, who had taken residence in the House by the Sea (and wonderfully played by the 6th Doctor, Colin Baker)... but at the end of "The House by the Sea," Gerald had died and his body was taken over by Nicholas Blair. And it is Nicholas Blair who shows up to tempt Maggie.
Turns out Collinsport is where the Leviathans first came to life and it was their presence here that causes all the weird things to happen in this vicinity. It also uncovers the source of the Stairway Through Time at Collinwood. I thought it was an excellent story with really good concepts and strong acting. Kathryn Leigh Scott does great as Maggie Evans (as she always does), and I always love hearing Colin Baker's voice.
A brilliant story that concludes the plot thread that started from House by The Sea and also Maggie's heartbreak of losing someone special to her. A very well written story by James Goss with some great performances from the cast! 9/10
This story can work well as stand alone story of a woman who has clearly reached the end of her tether who has intense conversations and makes immense decisions with a comforting stranger. I listened to it having heard the previous audio and thus knowing what had brought Maggie to this point, which i think probably does add some depth to the story. The story together with the performance is emotional, meaningful and ultimately satisfying.
After the Beyond the Grave episode Maggie finds herself alone in an empty Collinsport. And she is driving herself insane with the help of Nicholas Blair from the past.
