I received this book as a first read. This would be a good gift for graduating high school seniors or anyone who is into self-improvement. I read a lot of self-help, inspirational, self-improvement, mindfulness, etc. books. This book serves as a great primer by condensing ideas from multiple books into one book without the embellishments or unnecessary filler. I like the down to earth nature of it - like getting a reality check or advice from a friend. I appreciated the inclusion of quotes with each chapter. I also really liked that the appendix provided a jumping point with other inspirational books folks could read on the same topic if they wanted to go more in depth and learn more. If you want a no nonsense and quick rundown of some basic life lessons everyone should know to find happiness then this is the book for you.

I loved this book. It was written a few years ago, but some of the information on it is still relevant today and maybe even more so as we see more and more companies taking little pieces here and there to add up to slimming our wallets and fattening theirs.

As I was reading it I keep wondering how this type of corporate mentality has become more common here in 2020, and how we keep rewarding and bailing out banks and corporations by taking from the average Joe. Obviously it can't work long term, and obviously there's companies who use the law to find ways to meet their greed.

This is definitely a great book to give you some insight into how capitalism is being perverted and is creating a socialism for business as it cheats society as a whole.

I wish he'd update it in 2020.

"Only Read the Fine Print" penned by author Thomas Briggs is a great read for anyone that wishes to become the best version of themselves. This is a light read that I plan to keep on my Kindle Carousal for quick access in the future.

This is not one of those dull self help books that preach to you. It is an intelligently written, candid look at the common mistakes we make in life and the simple ways we can begin changing them.

Many times while reading this handbook, I stopped and thought to myself...wow, that really makes sense. That little tidbit is really accurate about the way I live day to day, and if I change that I just might be a little happier with myself. This is advice that I can easily apply to my life with a little persistence and dedication. Very few individuals are completely at peace with themselves, I know I certainly am not. We can always use that extra bit of sage advice from an open mind.

"Only Read the Fine Print" made me laugh, but most importantly made me wonder. There are a few quotes and phrases that have really resonated with me, I hope to continue to apply them to my life in a positive way.

I would recommend this book for ages 12+
