Great book I love the jokes here's my own joke well I don't think it's in the book who is a girl vampire most likely to fall in love with? The boys neck door

Short and...not...scary
Cute stories which almost seem to be memories. Would take a good reader to pull them off with most kids. The jokes were pretty good. More than half landed with middle school added kids.

It was a cute kids book with Halloween stories. They are not as spooky as the cover is. My 4 year old loved this book and asks for it to read over and over.

A quick read. Light on the scare factor--this one is probably best suited for younger kids or those who can't take the scariest stuff. The jokes are fun!

None of the stories are very good. They're more about pulling pranks and kids teasing each other than anything and the way the characters speak doesn't sound natural. There are jokes after the stories and kids might like some of them.

These 10 stories are terrific "Campfire Stories". Short spooky stories meant to have the spook level turned up. The free book site works. The books are true Uncle Amon wholesome good books. The coloring book sadly does not. These stories are memorable and short enough your kids should be able to remember them and spook their friends with them. I picked one to share with you.
"Halloween Train"
In a village in Tecumsah they did not celebrate Halloween anymore. The town had to many ghosts. Frank had the answer. They would throw a party on the train. On Halloween night they had their party and when the town folk felt all the ghosts were on the train all the people got off and locked the doors and windows. The conductor took the train a long way and then let the ghosts go. They never came back and the town is now ghost free!!
I found this book on an Amazon site for free, lucky me. As of August 16,2019 it is still free. Good Luck.

I downloaded this kindle book from Amazon whilst searching for books suitable for my Grandkids to read. As an adult I found nothing scary in any of the stories but perhaps there is something there for the young reader 5-7. I don't think older children will get anything enjoyable as the stories are not the most engaging. For those who might question why I read the book, I like to know what I'm giving my grandkids to read and want to ensure suitability. These stories are very suitable for the younger reader.

This is a collection of short stories for children. They are supposed to be spooky tales suitable for Halloween. These tales are not spooky even for very young children.
One tale is the story of a small cat that is scared. Even his own meows scare him. His mother shows up and he is no longer scared. That's it.
These stories are the equivalent of going trick or treating and getting a toothbrush instead of candy.

I loved that in the first story was a very great like it but I think it should be worked on.

Very good for young children spooky and fun..
Great pick for kindergarten and first grade age children. These stories are not scary which is why I deducted a star, but they are cute and spooky for the right age group.

There are bound to be a few stories in this book of short Halloween tales that will appeal to everyone. I enjoyed reading the stories, some more than others, but then the stories are written for a much younger crowd! Kids will love it!i'd say 8 and up.

I got this free from amazon and was glad to see spooky stories. I couldnt seem to find the scare and these stories were quite simple even for children, maddy scared jim and never did it again. A short read of the stories.

Disappointed.........
So, the first thing I expected were a bunch of short stories-around six or seven page stories. I didn't expect a two page story with no spook and then a bunch of print outs..... I'm sorry but I'm just being honest.
