When Karmen Sley is informed by her TSS agent friends of pirate queen Aura Thand’s latest whereabouts and authority run-ins, the decision is made with her family to covertly take a trip out there so they can keep an eye on the pirates. What they never counted on, though, was that they would be taking ‘fraternizing with the enemy’ to a whole new level. With Colin along again, along with the starship he furnished, there is no shortage of both comradery, as well as infighting with the would-be in-laws on this mission. An unexpected turn of events leads to new enemies, even more formidable than any they have faced thus far. And that is only the beginning of their worries.
Obviously, I highly recommend Carnage and Courage as a worthy, entertaining addition to the Cadicle universe, and I look forward to seeing the resolution in the conclusion.
