I read the republished 2023 edition of the of the original 2002 novel.

In this edition, they are still referring to using payphones, not cellphones.

It was an interesting book and I enjoyed it.

Contains 2 novels Nantucket Nights and Blue Bistro. An enjoyable summer read but both seemed to end abruptly leaving the reader wondering what happened in the future to the main characters. It's almost as if the author lost interest in what she was writing. MS Hildebrand has written better novels.

Expect the unexpected

Reading this book is like taking a drive, you're on a straightaway when suddenly there's a twist, and a turn. Hilderbrand's description of the food was hunger inducing.

Not my fav

I love all the books I have read of hers but this was not my favorite but I still had to finish. She has a way of capturing you from the beginning and keeping you there until the end.
