I've enjoyed all the Caesar novels. Having owned numerous Chocolate Labs, I could relate to their intelligence and heartwarming personalities. Wish he'd written more. Really enjoyed the human characters also.
I enjoyed this book a lot. This series centers around Ceaser who is a explosive detection dog, a very important member of a special operations team named GRRR (Global Rapid Reaction Responders). This book centers around rival gangs in San Antonio, Texas, that are fighting and trying to bump each other off. However, one gang goes too far when they dognap Ceaser! Now the team is left without a vital member of their team that they need to help locate the bombs that the gangs are using against each other. It is a race against the clock to find Ceaser before it is too late.
