OK so I reviewed this book and was given a free copy in exchange for my book to be reviewed. I'm gona be honest at I was a little worried. I saw poetry and that's not my coup of tea. However this book is so well writeen that I can't help but fall in love with it. Every work has flaws (which I will get to later on) but this book makes the most out of its own. Its brilliant, insightful, and a precias gem that deserves to be admired. However their are a couple flaws.

Note: this book is not for kids given it has mature content and subject matter

the book contains topics that made me slightly uncomfortable, but I can't help but feel that was the intention. The book talks about everything from sex,to slurs, to race. It's truly a marvel to behold. However I can imagine this isolating readers to some extent but not the magority. The book has a mixture of poetry and stories which are evenly mixed, the emotion is constantly there and always present. The book even mentions religon and god and do with that info what you will. Overall I love this book. I am so glad to do the exchange. All these opinions are my own, anyone who's seen my youtube reviews (braincakereviews) knows I'm not afraid to bash a requested book, I've done so on youtube plenty of times. But I don't feel the need to bash this book, its too good to bash. It's memorable, unforgettable, quite, loud, poetic, passionate, everything I'd never thought I'd see yet am happy to have seen. If you havn't read this book, I encourage you to do so, because this book is a marvel to behold.
