Babble & Bite is a collection of unusual short (some very short!) stories. They cover a variety of genres and themes and I consider them to be a good introduction to this author.

The stories are well written and engaging, full of lively characters and each story held my interest throughout. I was disappointed when I came to the end of the book, so I'll definitely be reading more from Kat Nove.

*I received a review copy of this book from the author, in return for an honest review.

Fast read of short stories. My favorites were A Suburban Halloween and The Coolest Pair of Sunglasses. A Suburban Halloween is a good story to share with the tweens/teens, (there is marijuana use for those who want that info), while getting in the mood for Halloween. The Coolest Pair of Sunglasses is a haunting story. There is a clown in Tent Revival. I am not fond of clowns, (those who know me love that info), but he was not evil. I think it is a good book for a rainy afternoon. Except for A Suburban Halloween. Read it at night... with candles or flashlights.

This is a nice break from novel reading and I was so happy that I had this to read during my lunch at work! The stories are different, so there's wonderful variety here as different genres are explored. My personal favorites are A Suburban Halloween and The Coolest Pair of Sunglasses. Creating Fossils amused me as well as Capricorn, Meet Scorpio. I love short reads such as this! If you are a short story fan, pick this up!
