So who am I? My name is Rachel Hanna, and I am a wife, mother of three incredible kids (maybe I am a BIT biased?), two lovable doggies and one cat that lives outside and thinks he owns the world. Okay, I also have a gecko now too. Don't judge me.

I started writing as a young child, and I went into the field of Journalism for many years as an adult. Now, as a romantic fiction writer, I get to live out my own daydreams every single day and share them with readers around the world!

I'm a Southern chick living near Atlanta, so I say "yes, ma'm" and "ya'll", but I wouldn't have it any other way. :)

Delaney Dobbins is a writer who just finished her book called "The Murderous Affair" and was waiting to be interviewed by a popular news reporter on TV, Jensen Brown.

Her book was about a wife who was having an affair and killed her husband so she could get his money or something like that, but the irony was the details were very similar to a real life murder case investigation which the wife had pleaded not guilty. But when a cop tells her she was in danger for knowing too much of the murder, sure enough she is brutally attacked soon afterwards and is forced into hiding.

She finds out she is psychic but not until Jensen overhears a conversation she was having during her morning meditation. He even videotaped it. It was not something she was aware of doing either.

This book is full of suspense. To Delaney's shocking surprise, her story wasn't coming from her own creative ability but it had been told to her by some unknown dead man who was murdered and his real wife was in jail awaiting her trial. The real killers were out there and Delaney agrees to help solve the case along with her friend Jensen.

They spend a few days together in a cozy cabin where romance and love blossomed.

I really liked how this story comes together in a fast paced suspense romance.

A very well executed short story. I was initially attracted to the story because it is about an author, Delaney Dobbins, whose life turns upside down because of what she writes in her best selling novel. Basically, an author's nightmare. She ends up in hiding and things get even more interesting. Without revealing much, I will say that this story was well written, original and unexpected. Loved it. I am looking forward to reading another book by this author.

This book was hard for me to get into. I am not sure why actually because I Love the Author & her books. I like the characters Jensen & Delaney but I did not fall in love with them, the story content was interesting but I was not drawn in I did not feel like I was a part of this story like I usually feel. But I think maybe it might be me & not the story. Any of the Authors I read I think that everyone should read them because they are all amazing. So take a couple of hrs & read this one.

It was great

I really enjoyed it short book with Ali, suspense and romance and laughter just long enough not to get bored and short enough to to enjoy.
Another great one from Rachel Hanna.
I will read the the next two and I am hopping they are just as good as this was.

A good, quick read. Some of the scenes seemed a little rushed (I know this can happen in novellas) and could have probably been drawn out into a novel quite comfortably. It did take me a while to get into this, about 25% but overall not a bad read.

This was a delightful suspenseful romance with some hot sensual moments. I enjoyed it!
