Protect Her #2

Protect Her: Part Two

Rate this book
Want to know what happens to a human caught in the crossfire between angels and demons? I’m going to make sure that Paige Matthews doesn’t find out.

The job that originally brought me to Calamata Island might be done, but I can’t leave Paige behind. Without me she’s defenseless against the demons that are after her. I just met her, but I feel protective of her, and I can’t walk away. Not yet.

Paige is at the epicenter of something big, and none of it is good. It’s not just the demons that want her. The angels are in on it too being led by the archangel Benjamin.

Paige’s past is being hidden by her amnesia. Those secrets want to be let out. It’s up to me to make sure that she stays alive long enough to find the answers that will finally reveal it all.

My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review!!

The cover is the same hot cover from the first book :) And I still love it :)

This is a novella length, and I think it must be read in order. This is a multi-part book. While it does not say it is a serial series, I do think it is as it is up to 7 parts at this time. I’m not sure how many parts there will be in this series. What does this mean to you? Well if you are not familiar with them, do not expect this to be like a regular book with a beginning, middle, and end. Each part is like an episode while it comes to a close, it is continued in the next part, so therefore you must read each one in order to know what is going on.

I really love all the action in this series, but I have so many questions still unanswered and so many new ones about Paige because of things that happened in this part. I do not like ruining anyone’s story, so I do not talk much about the plot except in generalized statements like there’s lots of action and new things happening. It definitely grabs your attention and doesn’t let go :) Paige is an amazingly strong woman for everything that has happened to her, and she holds herself together much better than I would if I found out someone had lied to me. I really like Riley. He has this bad boy persona, but it seems like a front. I still want to know more of what happened to his family and everything about Paige. I’m not sure that I like Benjamin, but only more story will tell me for sure….right now I’m rooting for Riley!

I recommend this series to paranormal fans who enjoy serial type series, but I’m not sure when this serial will be complete.

Favorite Lines “I think you'd look damn sexy in a nun’s habit.”

“I wanted her badly, but I wasn’t going to take anything from her. Too much had already been taken away from her. But if she wanted me as badly as I wanted her, I wasn’t about to disappoint her. Demons and angels be damned.”

“It probably sounds crazy, but I feel like we were thrown together for a reason.”

“He said that it was prophesized that I would become a Goddess.”

“Yes. I just hope for your sake that when you do, she still wants to be found.”

Riley is a Necromancer who uses his gift only for himself but that all changes when he rescues Paige from demon. Something about her moves him, makes hi want to protect her.
Paige woke up 3 hrs ago with no memory, she goes to Calamata island and meets Christopher, he gives her a job and home. For 3 yrs she lives in bliss unaware of the things that go bump in the night, that all changes when she meets Riley. Demons are looking for her. Riley is keeping her alive but, why do they want her!

I am so glad I was asked to review this! I love this world.
Sinclair's writing is great! It flows effortlessly and I have fallen in love with characters!
I am dying to read part 4 and will continue to follow this author!
Anyone who loves a great paranormal read should read this!

I originally read this book in a box set this year, and loved the book a lot. This book was filled with non stop paranormal action.

You have Riley who knows how to deal with demons, but who is also a necromancer. Throw that together and you can only imagine what might happen in the series. You also have a girl which Riley is falling for (Paige Matthews) caught up in the middle of a war between demons and angels. This book alternates between Riley and Paige so that you get every side of the story that you need.

When it dials right down this is a book I would recommend that you did not miss out on reading. This book has a wonderful building romance, and a lot of unexpected twists and turns that kept me flipping page after page through the night. In fact I can tell you that I finished the box set books 1-3 in one sitting, so they were definitely books I loved.

In part one of this serial we are left with the revelation that Christopher is not at all who he seems to be. As more secrets are brought into the open will Paige be able to trust either Christopher (AKA Benjamin) or Riley? Riley is also beginning to change. Being a necromancer is a pretty solitary existence, but something about Paige makes Riley begin to feel again. Can a relationship between this couple even be feasible surrounded by desperate, deadly demons? This was a great read, much like the first. Danger is everywhere, a love triangle may be developing, and secrets are aired like dirty laundry. What more could you want?

"Paige! Paige! Are you with me?" Of course, I was with him. I would always be with him.

Oh this one was good.
After finding out that Christopher actually is Benjamin, more secrets get revealed and more questions come forward.
This book as the first one, was short and a really fast read, which is a joy! It's not one of these light books, no, the story is catchy and interesting. 2 POVs let you see each moment through each character's eyes, which is really interesting.
Loved how they cared and fought for each other even against the archangel. I'm anticipating more from the third one. Can't wait to see more RileyxBenjamin fights :)

Part#2 of Protect her is a great read if you're into paranormal Romance with a dark twist and definitely a lot of wonder & suspense!

I am thoroughly enjoying paige and Rileys story so far and am ploughing onto part#3. Paige doesn't know who she is, she can only account for the last 3 years, of her life. Ammm this spells big trouble for me! I think she is going to end up being something hugely important.

I love the tangible growing relationship between Riley & Paige.

This is a fun magiacl twist on Demons, Archangels & Necromancers.

** I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

'Protect Her: Part Two' was just as good, if not better, than Part Pne. The story continues with Paige, Riley and Christopher, aka Benjamin. The storyline is full of revealing tidbits, action, mystery, good vs. evil and of course- deceit. I can't wait to read more of this series. One of the best lines that seems so wrong but so funny- 'I think you'll look damn sexy in a nun's habit'. That had me laughing out loud. A great add to your tbr list.

The plot thickens in this second installment. A little more about Paige's and Riley's past comes to light. I enjoyed hearing more about Riley's backstory. There were also so interesting twists that point to something much bigger going on. I can't wait to find out more. The only problem I had was that this story seemed shorter than the first. It was a quick and easy read. Something you won't be able to put down for sure! Can't wait till the next one.

In true spirit of its predecessor, part two of the Protect Her series continues the high velocity and intrigue that only Ivy Sinclair can deliver. Better yet, even though part two picks up where part one left off, Sinclair does a wonderful job of including just enough information that it could still easily be read on its own and an even better job of portraying the personal growth of each character. Kudos!

Paige continued to be annoying in this one.

But we find out she is special. We aren't sure what is special about her yet, there is a lot of withholding information from everyone, which should be building tension, but it is really just frustrating.

Paige has had her eyes opened in finding out Christopher's real name and who he actually is. but finding out that Riley isn't exactly who he appears to be well that's a bit eye opening.

We get a little bit more of who Paige is and maybe she isn't all she appears to be and Benjamin has an agenda that Riley isn't to fond of. can't wait for the next part
