i loved reading kid lawyer its a thrilling and captive book that kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. the story follows the journy of a young lawyer named theodore boone as he tries to solve a high profile muder case. the book is filled with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. i also enjoyed how the auther incorperated legal concepts and terminology in a way that was easy to understand and added to the authenticity of the story
overall i highly recommend kid lawyer to anyone who enjoys crime thrillers or legal dramas. The book is well written, engaging, and has relatable charachter that you cant help but root for. khezlie lloyd
I came across the sixth book in this series in a charity shop not realizing until I finished it that it was part of a series. I really enjoyed it so bought books one to three on Kindle, I'm now going to buy four and five, it's a nice easy read and a happy book but some laugh out loud scenes.
I thought this book series was really really good!! And it is now one of my favourite book series. All of the books wer every good, with great suspense and interesting mysteries. I loved the characters in it, especially Theo! He acts a lot like I act!!
I loved all the detail John Grisham went into in these books. I loved getting the backstories of characters or seeing what the different suburbs of the town were like. Those definitely made the book better.
Now I've read a few other reviews of this book saying that the characters didn't act like children but I really have to disagree with that! I found I could relate to a lot of the characters (but that may be because they are my age)
I also learnt a lot from this book about the law and court etc. Before I read the books I had no idea how court was run etc. But now I do which is good...
One thing I didn't like about these books were that he repeated a lot of things such as April's backstory and the Boone's dinner schedule or what his parents jobs were throughout the books... Which got a bit boring after a while. But aside from that these books were great!!
I would definitely recommend these books to any kid/teenager. I've already convinced my friend and younger sister to read them! Unfortunately I have to wait till I'm a bit older to read Grisham's other books but I'm looking forward to them :)
A fun read, clearly targeted toward young teens (which I am definitely NOT). But it's Grisham, which means it's a good story, written with skill. I thoroughly enjoyed Theodore's adventures and look forward to more.
This book is good for people who enjoy crime and law. Theodore Bone is awesome. 9-14 year olds. Vivid imagery is created because of John Grishams knowledge of courtroom. Sometimes they repeat stuff.
