I got to page 30 and had to stop. I could see the potential there...but it was really hard to get into this book.

I am not a fan of stories where there are baby mamas. I wish the synopsis would have indicted that the hero had a kid with OW. Not in the mood for that type of drama.

Damien you can tell right off this boy is head over heels for Mia, "do I hug her? I'm not sure. Eff it. I pull her into my chest, burying my nose in her hair. Every nerve ending in my body is instantly alive." He's also the voice of reason when Mia can't be reached, "Damien puts his hands on my cheeks. "Breathe. It's ok. I'm here with you. It's just a power outage or something. You're safe." His chuckle makes me furious. "Baby, you need to breathe." Damien is always hungry, well for something that only Mia can provide, "I'm hungry, baby. You're going to come over and over again until I've had my fill." He's always in a constant state of horniess when around her as well, "her nails scratch my chest as she bites my nipple. I'm instantly hard. It doesn't take much with her. My c*** has a mind of it's own. She's cooking? Yep, that's hot. She's painting her toes? Damien Jr really likes that." I think this is another series that MJ will excel in.

If you even have an inkling that you know what this story will be about, think again! You will be completely and utterly mesmerized when you finish this book and finish it you will; fast!
I have got quite a few arc's to get through and this was supposed to be just "the next one" on my list... Yeah right! I just knew the moment I read the blurb just before starting to read that I would be in for something special.
And here I am, in my bed at almost 3 am in the morning, crying my eyeballs out, writing my review after finishing the book in about 2/3 hours!
I could just keep writing and writing but I can tell you that it won't do justice to this incredible story and yes I do realize that I told you nada! But you just have to excperience this on your own. Just a few more sleeps and this will be yours to cherish as well, get one-clicking people!

Oh my freaking god! I don't even know where to start this review!
I adored this book! Like I can't gush about it enough! Let me try to explain my feelings without giving anything away!!
I always wanted Damien and Mia to get together, I knew there would be a story I wanted to read but I didnt realise what an epic story it would be! I loved the sexual tension between them, the longing that they had for each other, but god there were points I wanted to knock some sense into them!!
And then....well then something happens and there was my 'Oh fuck' moment! I swear MJ is trying to destroy my heart! I ugly cried...thats all I will say! She destroyed me!
This book was amazingly written, there was a bit of everything in it. Drama, sexual tension and a lot of hotness, but more than that there were real emotions, real fears and real characters. I could have sat and read the full series in one sitting.
I am waiting very impatiently for the next part in the series....but I demand it now!! <3

Well what can I say about Liquid Regret? M.J.Carnal has given us a fantastic story that mesmerises you from the start.
Liquid Regret are the hottest band on the circuit, led by Damien “D Rey” Reynolds. He is super sexy, but he is living a life of regret. He regrets leaving Mia Lee behind. They only spent a week together over a year ago, but neither of them can forget it.
All the characters have their own special traits & blend together wonderfully.
This story will have you feeling every emotion possible. I absolutely loved it & did not want to put it down.
I am so very glad that there will be more books in this series.

I had no clue about this book because Sanne (Co-Blogger & Partner In Crime) was the one who signed up to review, but it was my week to set up post and you would never guess what I came across......Yep, once I read the Blurb I had to read. It felt like a magnet just pulling me in.
Oh Wow......MJ Carnal did not take this one easy or fun loving. Right from the get go this book took off like a stallion on a mission to win and by God I was going to hold on for one hell of a ride.
A few things in this story shock the hell out of me and left me in completely mess.
I am going to take a page from Sanne's book and not give one single thing away about the plot apart from that its a fantastic one and its sooooo worth a read.
GIVE THIS STORY A CHANCE it will hit you true and hit you hard.
I have being a big fan of MJ Carnal for a while now and I could not pass up the opportunity to read her latest offering and you should not either.
This is a wonderful story of Love, Lost, Regrets and Love concurring all with a ton of challenges thorn in of course.

I was sad to see the Moretti Novels end, but I was very excited for the new series!! We meet Damien in Untamed, Moretti Novel 5. Damien is Steve's cousin and briefly dates Lily until he is introduced to Mia, Lily's sister.
Damien is attracted to Mia but knows he is starting a tour with his band Liquid Regret.
Liquid Regret start shortly after Moretti Novel 5 ends but you don't need to read the Moretti Novel( but you really should..they are great). Damien is out of control, drinking, womanizing and getting into fights. The label wants to drop him and the band if he doesn't get his act together. They make up a rumor that he is engaged to a super model who also needs the publicity.
One night the band goes to a bar and Mia and her friend are their. They rekindle their attraction and start a relationship but have to keep it a secret because of his bad publicity.
Have your tissues ready because a tragedy affects the band and Damien comes clean to the public and fans about his love for Mia. I can't wait for the next book in this series. You will fall for Damien and his band mates!!

First off. That cover. Sigh, that cover.
I really wanted to like this book. Like REALLY like it. I just couldn't connect to it. I found myself at 50% still thinking it lacked something but I couldn't say what it was missing. I just never connected to the characters and didn't really care when one died. Now that's sad. Being as I bought six books by this author I'll obviously try another. The damn cover drew me in.

Oh my!!
I loved this new rock group series.
This story has everything! Great characters, although I did find (Oksana a bit odd), Mystery, romance, sweetness, tears and the best proposal EVA!!
No spoilers here, just read this first book in what I hope will be another totally enjoyable series as we follow the boys from Liquid Regret as they all find their "one".

I have to say that I'm a bit surprised by the really high reviews for this book. The characters didn't suck me in at all, and weirdly, the supporting cast was much more interesting than the main couple.

Why not 5 stars?
First of all, I would have liked to see more of Demian´s son, more involvement in the whole book.
Second, because I felt the chemistry between the main characters didn´t feel real, and it was a little too insta-lovey for me.
However, the other relationships, including friendships, did feel genuine. The band dynamic, specially Griff´s and Damien´s bromance, was amazing. I felt their connection.

Great writing but the story line is ok. I didn't care for either characters and their second chance love story. I thought it was weird with too many lies, but hardly any drama other than the murder mystery side story that was never resolved in this book. I assume will have closure at some point in the other books. Not a bad story, just not to my liking. I thought the side characters were more interesting.

Freaking devoured this book
I've had this on my kindle for a while, don't know why I hadn't read it yet!! Absolutely freaking loved it. I am crushing on these characters hard, I mean who wouldn't?? Sexy rock stars, hot sex and a intriguing storyline. So check this book and series out!

This is the first book I have read from this author. Right from the beginning she drew me in and kept me captivated until the very end. She delivers on the drama, romance, danger, and a very sexy hero. Very interesting secondary characters. You can't wait to here their story and wonder what happened to them in their past.
There was a moment when you may need your tissues. Also moments which were risque'. This couple isn't bashful about having sex publicly. Although once seemed a little inappropriate considering what had just happened.

Mia knew she should have never let him just walk away after that one week, but she also knew she couldn’t have stopped him from his destiny as a rock star. It took time but she was getting her life together than one day in a bar with her friend she felt the tingle and heard his voice and knew it was him. But now he was engaged and she would never be the other women.
Damien knew there was a reason that he couldn’t find the right girl and that all of the girls that he did hook up with were very similar. It all lead back to the one week in his life that was his best week ever; it was when he met Mia. Damien has made many mistakes during his first year with his band on the road, and they have finally caught up with him. His manager and record label gave him an ultimatum that if he doesn’t do exactly what they say they will drop him. He had no idea walking into the bar that one night he would see Mia again; he knew it was her as soon as he walked into the bar. He knew that now he found her again that he could not let her go this time he just had to get a chance to talk to her. Fate was in his corner and helped with a few chance meetings that played into increasing Damien’s chances to explain his plea’s to Mia.
This book is so much more than just a love story. It has the drama, paparazzi, stalkers and so much more associated with the lives of the band members from Liquid Regret. This book was a ride that once I started I knew I couldn’t stop until I reached the end and what an end it is. I loved the band members of Liquid Regret, Mia’s sister (Lily) and Damien’s cousin, and Mia’s best friend (Laney). Laney was the kind of girlfriend everyone needed, she spoke her mind and seemed to have no fears. One of her quotes that I loved is,
“I love a man covered in tattoos. If I lick him, he’s mine.”
I loved this book from beginning to end. The family unit that Liquid Regret created with its band members and friends is one that is so much stronger than blood. I can’t wait for the next book in the series about Harley.

This is the first book I've read from M.J. Carnal but it for sure won't be the last. I had heard nothing but good things about her work and after meeting her at a signing I knew I had to go for it. While there are a few slight references to her other series, The Moretti Novels, you don't have to read that for this one to flow.
Liquid Regret follows the story of Damien and Mia and is told in a dual POV. I liked the alternating POV especially since they spend a lot of time apart. Why did they spend so much time apart? Well, Damien is a rock star and his band, Liquid Regret, is the hottest thing out there right now. He's spent the past year touring, writing, recording and sleeping with anyone who reminds him of Mia. They had met and spent one amazing week together that changed the both of them. I really liked Damien. Deep down he is a really good guy but he is also incredibly flawed. But all it took was one chance meeting for his world to be righted again.
I liked that Mia and Damien's road wasn't easy because love isn't easy. It is messy and hard and full of uncertainty. Throw in a tour, an unknown threat and a fake fiance and there is great potential for all sorts of things to go wrong. My favorite thing, if I had to choose one, about the stalker situation is that it wasn't focused on Damien and Mia. It brought in the other major players in the book. And I love a great secondary cast of characters. Everyone from Laney to Della and Harley even Oksana and Joshua played a major role in the development of the story and Mia and Damien's relationship. When tragedy befalls the group it is Mia who helps pull Damien and the rest of the guys back in. It is her quiet patience and show of support that helps everyone take a deep breath. Both Damien and Mia drew their strength from the other which once again proved how deep their love was. My heart shattered with the loss that fell upon the group. It was a tragedy to say the least but a great tie in for the next book of the series. I can not wait to see what is in store for the members of Liquid Regret family.

MJ Carnal…damn lady, you know how to write a story that is sweet, swoon worthy, smokin’ hot, teary and tugs at the heart strings!
Damien “D Rey” Reynolds is the lead singer of Liquid Regret, the hottest band around at the moment. One year on after meeting Mia and spending only one week together, falling in love with her with only the experience of her kiss, before the band went on tour and Damien is still reminiscing about her being “the one that got away”. He goes through endless amounts of women that slightly resemble Mia and finally, the record company has had enough of his antics. Their ultimatum to him is clean it up or be asked to leave.
Mia also cannot get Damien out of her mind after that one week together and when she reads about his engagement to a Russian Supermodel, she is beyond devastated, having held hope that one day they may be able to reconcile.
Mia and a friend are having drinks at a bar later that week after reading about the engagement when fate steps in and delivers Damien to her in the same bar setting off an explosive series of events. The two are forced to whether the storms of loss, heartbreak, intense media scrutiny and fake relationships before they can have their HEA.
Damien and Mia have off the charts chemistry that involves lots of gloriously delicious sex scenes that makes for a blush worthy, panty melting read.
The author’s cover model, Joshua Sean McCann as Damien was spot on and the whole time I was reading Liquid Regret, Joshua was who I was imagining as Damien.

Wow! This book rocked its ass off. Don't let the length fool you. This book packs a serious punch. This new series by MJ is based on a rock band. And our lead boy Damien gets the first book! And that cover y'all? God, I would buy the book just for that! But seriously, this book was crazy good and takes you on a wild ride of two people destined to be together.

I loved Damien and Mia! Damien is the bad boy rockstar you want to tame and Mia is the girl with his heart. I loved how Damien tried to set it all straight and get his life together. I also admired Mia's strength and support she provided for Damien. I cannot wait for more of them in future books!

Wow! This book rocked its ass off. Don't let the length fool you. This book packs a serious punch. This new series by MJ is based on a rock band. And our lead boy Damien gets the first book! And that cover y'all? God, I would buy the book just for that! But seriously, this book was crazy good and takes you on a wild ride of two people destined to be together.

WOW! Liquid Regret has been on my TBR for a while and I will admit I had it on my Kindle for quite some time before I was finally able to get to it. Now I'm kicking myself that I waited so long! What an amazing book! This story is so much more than just another hot rocker and his journey to finding true love. It's full of emotion and twists and turns and keeps the reader wanting more.
I fell in love with Damien from the moment I met him (and not just because he's represented on the cover by the gorgeous Joshua Sean McCann). I loved everything about him. I loved reading his POV and really getting into his head. I equally enjoyed getting to know Mia and having their alternating POVs seemed to really balance the story perfectly. Their chemistry is real, their love for each other is even more real and nothing ever felt forced, their relationship developed naturally. Although I will say it seemed to progress rather quickly, I actually enjoyed the pace and it kept the story moving quickly as well.
Without giving anything away, the twist that was thrown into the story came as a complete shock to me and I must say I think I screamed at one point. I know I cried and I know I was angry. To me, this is a sign that the story is working for me; I need to feel those emotions alongside the characters and I certainly did.

I was hyped up for so much more.
many will probably find this a really good read. it is a good book. good story. pretty well written grammatically. it was just missing something that didn't make me fall in love with it.
I don't know why these two characters were in love. lust maybe. we know what his past sex life was like, but when it comes to her I thought we were dealing with near virgin material. they spent a week together but didn't sleep together. then she sees him all of five minutes and hits him like a porn star on crack. just didn't fully understand the whole love connection. but like I said.. there are those out there who do and will probably love this.
I feel like this will satisfy a lot of readers who are looking for a second chance sexy romance. the deepest part of the story was the death of one of their friends which took over quite a bit of the book. it was sad and touching, but it was beginning to get to be a little too much. I can tell it's a set up for more of the secondary characters, and believe it or not I'm anxious to read about these characters. especially max.

Holy mother of all things holy!! This book made me feel such a wide range of emotions. I literally could not put this book down!! Liquid Regret is hot, sexy, funny and sad all rolled into an awesome Josh McCann covered book!
I love me some rockers and this series looks like it aims to please. From beginning to end I felt everything that the characters felt, I laughed and cried when they did.. I'm sure it was an ugly cry thank god my husband was sleeping so he couldn't laugh at me.
What would you do if you met your soul mate but had to walk away? What if you walked into a bar and saw her sitting there talking about you? If you are Damien Reynolds you man up and fight for the love you know is true. If you are Mia Lee you guard your heart from being trampled on just like last time.
