As the new head of public relations for the Las Vegas Sinners hockey team, Saralynn Reese wants to leave behind the frivolity of her popular girl image. Unfortunately, her first big assignment is to clean up the media messes of the team’s assistant general manager, Madden Vaughn. He’s flirty, impulsive, and self-centered; he also happens to be drop-dead gorgeous. Could there be more to Madden under the Ralph Lauren surface?
Having struggled with a gambling addiction since his early twenties, Madden’s finally moved past it and into a secure, corporate job working for his sister, the one person who means the world to him. When rumors fly and the team and his family both doubt his word, an unlikely ally pulls him out of his funk with a manicured hand: Saralynn.
He’s tired of chasing the same type of unattainable girl, and this up-and-coming publicity dynamo fits that mold perfectly. But she also challenges him and believes in him like no one else. Can they help each other keep their feet on solid ground…or will these twin hearts find themselves skating on thin ice?
I live in Ohio with my husband and Sylvie the cat, and I write hockey romance.
I played one season of roller hockey when I was fifteen--it hurt enough that I decided I liked it better as a spectator--and it's been true love ever since! My fictional team is the Las Vegas Sinners, and my real-world team is the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I like strong, capable heroines who bring out the vulnerability in their tough guys.
This novel is simultaneously funny and emotionally hard hitting. I loved the day by day progression of the story. It really lets you get a sense of the pace of the relationship and a look at what happens in the daily lives of the characters. For me, it added that extra layer of realism to the story. This author’s realistic yet vividly picturesque descriptions allow you to visit the rink alongside the characters, and picture Vegas in its many different facades. The poignant and hard hitting story will draw you in like no other. Add in a few hot but tasteful bedroom scenes and voila! An exciting, emotional, spicy romance that you’re not going to want to put down.
Kenyhercz develops her entire cast in this novel. Readers really get to know everyone. Not only does this give the story context in the wider world but it gives you a sense of where everyone belongs. I really enjoyed getting to know the main characters here. His vulnerability and her need to be someone else were quite poignant, especially when shown in such close context. I will admit that I scared my dog out of a dead sleep while exclaiming ‘SaraLynn you bloody idiot!’ at one point in time. I’ve never seen someone make so many mistakes while trying to do what’s best for her. But she was absolutely priceless and completely hilarious while doing it. The interpersonal relationships in this novel are very well done. Although readers can understand both sides of the conflicts, you’ll fall on one side or the other making this story very personal. Kenyhercz not only made me laugh (repeatedly) at her characters’ antics but she also made me cry. My heart broke for them.
I can’t wait for more from the Las Vegas Sinners. I not only enjoyed this novel but am also loving the series as a whole.

If you are a lover of sports romances, especially hockey ones, the Las Vegas Sinners series is a must read! Winning Streak is the third book in the series, and while it doesn’t deal with any actual players, it gives you a great behind the scenes look.
This book focused on Madden, the assistant GM of the Sinners, and Saralynn, the head of PR. Both were in previous books. Madden is Jacey’s brother, the owner of the team and Saralynn is the goalie’s sister. Madden and Saralynn both have made a lot of mistakes in their past and they are both trying to be better people. However, it is real easy to fall back into those bad patterns and start a downward spiral.
“Bad Saralynn. Why did bad have to be so fun?”
I loved the dynamics in this book. Not just between Madden and Saralynn, but also between family and friends. We got to see a lot of the issues with Jacey and Madden’s relationship due to his past gambling habits. I really had a hard time with how Jacey treated Madden at times, but I can see how a person in her situation would react the same way. The brother/sister bond between Reese and Saralynn was heartwarming! I also enjoyed the friendship between Madden and Cole, the captain of the team.
This book had a lot of emotion. There were so many past issues both personally and as a couple that Madden and Saralynn had to overcome in order to be together. It allowed the reader to see how important second and even third chances are with someone we love.

Winning Streak (Las Vegas Sinners #3) by Katie Kenyhercz Saralynn Reese just started a job as the new head of PR for the Las Vegas Sinners hockey team. Her first task is to clean up the mess made by Madden Vaughn, the team’s assistant general manager.
Winning Streak is a great addition to the Las Vegas Sinners series.
Saralynn is a fun character. I like that she is trying to change her image. I also appreciate that she had confidence in Madden. They are very similar and can relate to one another.
I really like Madden. He struggles with a gambling addiction; as a result, he is not always given the benefit of the doubt. I felt bad about the friction between him and his sister. I like that he tries to better himself.
I enjoyed the plot. It was well-thought out and meaningful. I like that characters from the previous book are relevant to this story. Winning Streak is a believable story that was heartfelt and entertaining.

I wouldn't recommend reading it without reading the first two novels first but it was an entertaining read. Saralynn wasn't the most relatable character but she was okay. Madden I liked from the first book but it was nice to get to know him better. They were both reformed screw-ups whose families kept a weary eye on. Their story was mostly about how they each struggled to stay on the right path and worried whether they could do this together or not. I enjoyed their chemistry and the pace of their story. I especially enjoyed the satisfying conclusion. I also enjoyed seeing the characters of the previous books together and thriving. One complaint I had about the previous books was that the side characters didn't have enough depth. This book didn't have many side characters that weren't former main characters besides of Cole, Madden' s roommate and the LV Sinners' s captain. I thought he was plenty developed and I hope his story is next in the series.

Pleasurable read! Winning Streak accomplishes a well written, well developed story line with substance and depth. So far, the best in the series.
Madden Vaughn, Assistant GM and brother to NHL team owner of the Las Vegas Sinners, continues to find media trouble even though he left behind his troublesome ways. Saralynn Reese, Head of PR for the Sinners and brother to their star goalie, is tasked with cleaning up the messes Madden leaves behind.
The story dives into the challenges both siblings face personally and professionally while uncovering a vulnerability that is disclosed only to each other. Katie Kenyhercz tackles the ongoing issues resulting from gambling addictions including the long term affects and trust issues amongst friends and family. The story provides the natural heartache and genuine struggle as these issues are faced head on. The journey is realistic with a reasonable resolution.
Additionally, Madden's humor is off the charts. Combined with his vulnerability and charm, readers are drawn to him as a favorite character. Saralynn's feistiness touched with a hidden gentleness is a perfect match for Madden.
I was captivated to the end and look forward to additional books in the series.
OMG! Another fabulous story about my Sinners! Madden stole my heart so I was happy to read his story.
Madden is the type of guy that girls love. Hot, sexy, and a little bit broken. We all want to fix him but it takes that one special woman to actually capture him. Saralynn has always played the field and while working with the Sinners she can't help but notice the sexy assistant GM. Saralynn stands up for him when everyone else believes rumor instead of fact. The harder he tries to prove himself the worse it gets. When the ice cracks and he is close to losing it all that is when he realizes that he found what he was looking for all along.
I was glad to see a return to some of my favorite characters. Allie is an awesome person and I loved to see her become a part of the family. If you are looking for a sweet romance, think along the lines of Candis Terry, you will love the Katie Kenyhercz and her Sinners!
This is the 3rd book in Sinners series and this one is just as good as the last. I must admit I had a little bit of a distaste for Madden in the first book, but I found him redeemed somewhat in the second book and then I fell in love with him in this one. I really liked how the author wrote his character. I really felt he had grown so much from book 1 to now. I also really liked the relationship between Saralynn and Madden. I thought once again the author has hit the nail on the head while writing them. Again, I will say that although I am not a hockey fan really, these books have made me like it a little bit more. This was a solid 4 AMAZEBALLS stars for me. A copy was gifted in exchange for an honest review. I would absolutely recommend this series to others to read. You won't be sorry!
This one blew me away seriously! what a roller coaster of emotions!! I loved every second of this book! In this book you have 2 people with a past trying to redeem themselves, but what do you do when the people that should believe in you don't? well you prove them wrong and do things for yourself! This story definitely hit home and Maddie you rock dude don't let anyone ever tell you something different! I received this book in exchange for an honest review
Madden Vaughn finally gets his own story, and a heroine who understands him, perhaps even better than his sister, Jacey. What I love about a series like this is getting a glimpse of past couples while the stories continue forward with the spotlight on the new pair. Can’t wait to see who gets to lace up the skates next.
