My party and I managed to save Los Angeles, but I need to get on the move. My parents are back east in Virginia, and my dad has been preparing for this apocalypse for years. If anybody has answers, it’s him.
But it's a long way from Los Angeles to Virginia, and the amount of danger the System and the Overlords are going to throw at us between keeps me up at night. The first leg of our journey will take us through the Sonoran Desert, and if a giant, godlike fire-bird has its say, our crosscountry trek will end at the start.

Good book
Good series so far the third book was really good and a definite page turner. I look forward to the next book in the series. And more from the author 😀
