The ground shakes with every angel who falls to Earth, their swords set towards the woman who stole Lilith’s crooked heart. In a bid for allies, she must revisit her past, exposing Eden to the dangerous web of the Worldwide Supernatural Council. But not all is as it seems in her forgotten city of blood. The lines between good and evil are blurred, with unclear allegiances and motivations hidden behind noble exteriors. A vote for war or a vote for silence will decide their fate. To be banished, left to fight alone without the backing of the supernatural community. Or to stand together as one, the light and the shadow united by a common enemy.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this series is beautiful yet brutal and this book was even more beautiful and a hell of a lot more brutal. My heart has been torn out and shoved back in with a plaster to cover the damage. (I have forgiven you for now!) I sobbed my heart out at parts and also cheered (looking at you Erik) I’ve fallen so in love with these characters that they feel like family now. I have loathed characters and will do for eternity, I have been through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the series so far.
Mia thank you for another beautiful (brutal) book- keep doing you and bringing these gorgeous characters to life though your amazing writing 🖤
As we dive into deeper lives of demons and fallen angels. The path to right and wrong blurs. With vengeance in the minds of fallen angels and war looms.
