As we have come to expect, action, fun and adorable Jason Steed doing what he does best. Scott seems to be taking one a bigger role now, together they are unbeatable. Has to be 5 stars.

Loved it, love the characters and love how Jason has grown up.
From book 1, : Fledgling he was a baby and now he's 14 and thinking like 14 year old boys do, as well as being a great spy.
Scott seems to have a bigger role in the last 3 books and I lobe how he has always been there for Jason.
They share a special friendship that is heart warming.
Not sure why this series isn't more mainstream.

I was waiting for this book for what seems like years. I started the others when I was still at school, now as an adult, I can see what appealed to me.
The characters are almost real, yes it is a great adventure and action series, but much more coming of age.

This time, Scott also goes on a mission as Jason is away on not 1 but 2 missions in succession. As Scott ends up in trouble it's Jason who comes to finish his mission and rescue him.

The author seems to have grown as well, some of the scenes between Jason and the girls he interacts with are almost poet, yet his naivety with girls shines through, when a fellow agent who is 15 is more mature than Jason in some parts of romance, almost takes advantage of the situation. Jason's honesty and naivety is cute in itself.

I hope we see book 9, in this series.
