I enjoyed reading Honor, an anthology containing 4 fast-paced romantic suspense novels.
Tracked Secrets by Sara Blackard involves a former pro surfer who has a stalker and a former Special Forces. Both Zac and Selah have demons from their pasts. This story is fast-paced with an engaging storyline and great characters. The stalker's identity was a surprise.
Branded by Fear by Jenna Brandt is about Mandy starting over in a new town. This is a story of forgiveness, changes, and repentance and includes danger, an escaped convict, and a horse back search and rescue team. Wonderful story. I'm hoping Logan's brothers will get their own stories.
Taken Across Oceans involves a teacher, an ex-Navy Seal, a search for a missing girl, revenge, and danger. This action-packed story has great characters and an engaging storyline that drew me in from the beginning, and heart-pounding suspense.
Tailored for Justice by Rebecca Hemlock involves Jacob protecting Bailey when she uncovers a terrorist plot, danger, and family dynamics. What a fast-paced, action-packed story as it's a race against time to stop the terrorist plot. The characters were well-written, and the storyline kept my attention.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Overall, this is a very good set of Christian suspense romances. Only one story did not have any Christian aspects. I did not lower my rating since some readers prefer that, and it would reflect on the set. I was given this set of books by one of the authors. My review is totally voluntary and unbiased.

Tracked Secrets Sara Blackard
Selah is a social media fitness trainer. During one of her video sessions, she realized someone is watching her – not on the video – and has been in her home. Fearing for her safety, she flees to a friend's family cabin. Zac is former special forces with PTSD. He comes to his family’s cabin, hoping to heal. They are both shocked to encounter each other. They have known each other since childhood and were high school sweethearts. Now they are sharing a cabin and trying to heal from trauma – while evading a stalker and a hurricane.

This is an incredibly suspenseful story with enjoyable characters.
Note: no Christian aspects at all. Most of her books do have very good Christian elements.

Branded by Fear - Jenna Brandt
Mandy has just moved to a small town, about 100 miles from Faith Valley, to begin her new job at the local hospital. She left her hometown because of bad choices leading to bad actions. She has recently rededicated her life to the Lord and has made a decision to not “date again until the Lord brought the right man into her life.” Mandy meets logan, a deputy with the Sheriff’s department, shortly after reaching town. She sees him again when he is brought into the ER where she is working. They make an instant connection, and Mandy wonders if she can trust him with her secrets and her fears.

Excellent Christian suspense/romance. There are many Christian aspects, such as prayer for protection and guidance. I love the references to forgiveness and trusting the Lord. The characters are well-written, and the story is very enjoyable.

Quote: “Don’t forget, God forgives you, so you just have to learn to forgive yourself.”

Taken Across Oceans - N.Y. Dunlap

When Jasmine breaks into Maddox’s home, she is expecting to confront the abductor of her favorite student. Instead, she finds an ex-SEAL. Will Maddox be her friend and ally, or her enemy? She needs to find Vicky quickly. Can she rely on Maddox’s support and help? Can she trust him with her secrets? Can he trust a woman he has just met who keeps lying to him?

This is a wonderful, suspenseful story with good Christian elements which include listening to and obeying the voice of God, asking the Lord for protection and direction, God bringing good from obedience.

Tailored for Justice - Rebecca Hemlock

Excellent suspenseful romance. Bailey is a seamstress. She finds a note, after a client has changed clothes, telling about a bombing of an office building. When she starts to call the police, he returns for the note and threatens her and her relatives. As he is about to leave, Detective Jacob comes in to have a suit altered. He sees that Bailey is afraid and has been bruised. He wants to help Bailey, but she is afraid to tell him anything. Jacob is dealing with his own problems and questions whether God punishes people for doing bad things.

This story has many twists and turns. Who is the real villain? Christian principles are included such as prayer for strength and direction, reading scripture, and trusting in the Lord.

4 book romantic suspense series. Sara Blackard is a must read author for me. She does an amazing job. Jenna Brandt is another very good author. The other 2 authors were new to me, but their stories were very good.

Tracked Secrets - Selah was a professional surfer. After she shattered her knee in a surfing accident, she now is a social media influencer who teaches yoga. She lives in HI. When she realizes she has a stalker, she goes to her best friend's villa on another island. Zac, her friends brother, has just returned from a tour of duty and is there recuperating. They had loved each other in high school, but he was 2 years older and going into the Army. He is supposed to be writing a book on the last tour where his team was killed, but he is battling too many demons. When Selah limps in barely able to walk because of her knee injury, he takes care of her, but neither want to let their guard down. Selah is terrified of the ocean after her near death experience. When the stalker finds them at the villa, they have to put aside their internal demons to battle the demon outside. Very good!!

Branded by Fear - Mandy is starting over in Mission TX. She is a nurse who had to testify against an ex boyfriend who wanted her to steal drugs from the hospital. Her friends thought she was guilty too, so she is starting over. She meets Logan who is a search and rescue deputy. He is taken with her kind demeanor in the hospital. When her ex escapes, she is fearful. When a hiker is lost in the mountains, Mandy volunteers to go with Logan and the team to find him. She is trained in rural triage and has ridden horses since she was young. As Mandy and Logan face danger together, they lean on each other and on God. So good!

Taken over oceans - My first book by this author. Well written. The book is written with a timeline. Date and time of each thing that happens. Jasmine breaks into Maddox's family's cabin in search of a student who has been kidnapped. He has just been discharged from the Navy seals and is trying to find his footing. Mom sent him to the cabin with her Maltese dog. Maddox feels like God is telling him to help Jasmine. Jasmine is part of the witness protection program for testifying against a drug runner in Saudi Arabia. When Jasmine is kidnapped, Maddox must find her and save her. Very good.

Tailored for Justice - Bailey is a seamstress. She takes the measurements of a sleezy city councilman and discovers a note about a bombing in his pocket. He threatens her not to say anything. Bailey takes care of her grandmother and great aunt. He threatens them. Jacob is a detective with the Firebrook Police Department. His partner took credit for solving a case that Jacob had solved and was promoted to Captain. Jacob is discouraged. Jacob and Bailey had gone to high school together, but she was very shy. He comes into the the dress shop right after the councilman leaves and realizes Bailey is upset. They work together to solve the mystery and stop the bombing. Good book, but felt a bit pushed. They had to push who the bad person was and why. Didn't seem to make a lot of sense. I kept expecting the bad guy to be someone else, but it wasn't.

Tracked Secrets, by Sara Blackard, happens in Hawaii, specifically in the wilderness of Kauai Island. The story begins on Oahu when Selah Hart, a social media fitness trainer with two million followers, discovers she has a dangerous stalker. Just a year before, she had been a champion surfer who sustained a disastrous injury from which she is still recovering. She escapes to her best friend’s cabin on Kauai Island where she discovers Zac Smith, her best friend’s brother, occupies it. He is trying to overcome bad war memories. Selah and Zac had been best friends as teens. What happens now as they reconnect while trying to avoid the stalker and survive a hurricane? Along the way, you’ll meet familiar characters from Sara’s Stryker series. I love all Sara’s stories, but I think this is my favorite.
Branded by Fear, by Jenna Brandt takes place in a wilderness area of Texas. Mandy Thorne, a nurse, is making a new start at a hospital ER in a small town where she treats a wounded Deputy Logan Stilwell. She left another small town after a bad relationship with a charismatic doctor who sought to involve her in stealing drugs. He escaped from jail to the wilderness near Mandy’s new residence. Logan is a county sheriff in a Horseback Search and Rescue unit assigned to look for the doctor. Find out what happens when Mandy joins the unit as they search for an injured hiker. Be prepared for a surprise ending.
Taken Across Oceans, by N.Y. Dunlap, is definitely a page turner with surprise after surprise! It starts when Jasmine Aquino, a high school teacher, waits at the cabin in Big Bear, CA for the owner, Maddox McConaughey, a former SEAL, who she mistakenly believes is the man who kidnapped her student. You just have to read the rest for yourself. Quite suspenseful, with many twists.
Rebecca Hemlock writes Tailored for Justice about Bailey Callahan, a seamstress, and Detective Jacob O’Hara. After a suit fitting for a creepy city councilman, Bailey discovered a note about a bomb in a historical building set to go off at 3pm in 4 days, when many people will be there. He knows she found it. Enter Detective Jacob for his fitting in time to save her. But who can they trust as they seek to stop the bombing? Read to see surprising details and the thrilling, fast moving details of the solution.

Tracked Secrets. Sarah Blackard. 4*
Selah discovered she had a peeping-tom stalker and left town in a hurry to her friends family villa. Relying on the location being unknown would help give her time towards her knee recovery, only to find her teenage crush also seeking sanctuary there from his war exploits.
There were a lot of mysterious noises and a boar charge that kept me hyper tense throughout and relieved when the culprit was eventually caught. My nerves were spun tight while reliving Selah's nightmares with her, the release didn't last long enough between stalker events.
Well written.

Taken Across Oceans. N.Y. Dunlap 3*
Jasmine was looking for her missing friend and decided that Maddox was the person responsible for her disappearance. He had just been released from the navy and agrees to help with the search. Fears of past trauma still affect Jasmine when near the ocean.
We are drawn into flights by plane, helicopter and then by sea on a cargo boat before the culprit is caught. A twist at the end, but you are given a clue if you are quick.

Branded by Fear. Jenna Brandt. 3*
Although a very good plot, I had a few questions popping up that threw me off kilter. I have a few unread books from this author in my library, so will read those as well to get a better feel for her writing style.
Mandy had left one town to work in another hospital. Because of a previous association, she has a feeling this new search for a missing hiker is related and joins the search and rescue team.
Logan is a deputy sheriff and his two brothers assist in the searches. However I think they need to get updated communication systems that can work during bad weather.

Tailored for Justice. Rebecca Hemlock. 3*
Having been in the same class at school, Bailey and Jacob knew each other, but not socially. When she is threatened at her work place he walks in and suspects something untoward. It leads to a mystery of a note found, burglary, telephonic threats, attempted kidnapping and murder.
As this story progresses, one is drawn into the intrigue of the threats. I was really hoping for a reconciliation, but it was not to be.
Little things niggled me at times, but I was able to overlook them the more I read. I will not let that affect the opportunities of reading more from this author.

I received a copy andthis is my honest and voluntary review

I loved that all the books had relatable characters and that even their faith was real. Not just in a sunshine and rainbows faith fixes everything way, but in a kind of messy I don't even know how to ask for help in this situation but I know God can help and He is there kind of way.

The first book was my favourite, probably because it was written by one of my favourite authors and some of my book character friends showed up in the story. I'm now looking forward to hopefully the stories of the new Hawaiian branch of Stryker Security because that would be really cool.

The second book was nice with how it combined the professions of a nurse and a search and rescue deputy with horses. It was an interesting and entertaining adventure, even though it was kind of terrifying too at times. I don't know many law enforcement people, but I do know a few nurses and doctors. Believe me having them as friends and with a sense of humour, can make a trip to the emergency room wuite entertaining.

The third book wasn't really my style and some technicalities bothered me, I've lived on a ship and trained to be part of the emergency crew, and I tend to pay attention to detail, A LOT, sadly some small details bothered me. So I had a bit of a hard time actually staying in the story after that, which was sad because it wasn't a bad story, in fact I love the emphasis of relying on God and listening to His leading even when it doesn't make sense.

The fourth book reminded me of some of the series I've watched, where the character finds out the main problem very fast and then you see them running against a specific timer that they are aware of early to solve the mystery. As opposed to them finding out there is a problem, but not being sure what the problem is and often much later finding out they are running against time, sometimes there isn't an actually time is running out element it's just running from something.
I also like the fact that one of the main characters works with custom tailoring and sewing custom gowns, since sewing is something I like.

I don't just read books, I tend to dissappear into them and basically live through them, and good luck trying to get my attention during that time.

The poor Jackie being referenced as a rodent and rat 😭🤣
I loved the main characters and how they supported each other through their struggles.
I also suspected the right person of being the villain.

Pages: 204

This one was my absolute favourite, from the get-go. Bailey and Jacob were the sweetest. It's a bit of a second chance, with Opposites Attract, teenage crush turn to more ,years later. I suspected who was behind everything, pretty early on, but it definitely didn't take away from the story.

Tracked Secrets - Sara Blackard - There was a lot of action with twists and turns and plenty of scary moments in this book. Selah was running and hoping to hide from a creepy stalker, and she turned up at the same place where Zac was hiding out from his past. A lot of healing needed to happen for both Zac and Selah, as they tried to deal with past traumas. But once Zac became aware of what was going on in Selah’s life, he became a fierce protector. I enjoyed this romantic suspense and was glad that Zac and Selah were able to overcome a lot of things that were standing in the way of their happy ending.

Branded by Fear - Jenna Brandt - Mandy and Logan met briefly right after Mandy arrived in her new town for her new job. They met again on Mandy’s first day in the ER. After that their relationship progressed rapidly, and they embarked on a shared mission to find a lost hiker and stumbled upon much more than they bargained for, all while quickly falling in love.

Taken Across Oceans - N.Y. Dunlap - Wow! Very good! So much happened in this book in a short time span. It didn’t take long for Maddox to become a fierce protector of Jasmine, and later of Vickie. The plot for revenge from a bad character was very well planned out, and it took some unraveling to get to the bottom of everything. But the good guys won again, and Maddox and Jasmine had a great love story!

Tailored for Justice - Rebecca Hemlock - Bailey stumbled upon a terrorist plot to destroy her historical small town and to make it into an entirely different type of place. Enter Detective Jacob O’Hara to help her when she needed it most. Piece by small piece, they uncovered a horrible, twisted plot that had the potential to harm many. Their high-school attraction bloomed into much more as they worked through the puzzle pieces to find the mastermind behind the evil plan.

Selah was a powerful surfer and competed professionally until a wave trapped her near a reef and buffeted her injuring her knee. After hundreds of hours of painful therapy, she is living in Hawaii and working as a trainer with an online class. She loves to read the comments of her students, but suddenly some messages seem menacing and invasive. She is being stalked! A friend offers her the family cabin with a secluded beach. However, when she arrives, she finds that the cabin is already being used by her friend’s brother, Zac. His military unit was wiped out by snipers and Zac feels responsible. He is hiding out not feeling worthy of being with other people and every loud noise sends him into defensive mode. Zac does not want Selah and especially her little dog, Lele to be in the cabin. However, there are strange occurrences and things out of place. Could the stalker have found Selah? Is someone after Zac for revenge? Oh, and these two have a past when Selah was a teenager. My favorite scene is when Zac takes Selah swimming and holds her in the waves to help overcome her fear of the ocean. Then, there is a tropical storm with winds over a hundred MPH approaching the cove. Warning: Do not start reading late at night or you may not get much sleep. Thrilling, exciting and tender moments will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Christian Romantic Suspense Book 3, Honor brought me one new author. I’ve been a fan of Sara Blackard for some time, have read several of Jenna Brandts and a few of Rebecca Hemlock, but N Y Dunlap is new to me.

Absolutely loved Sara’s Tracked Secrets, rooting for Selah and Zac to identify her stalker and survive the hurricane. As always, Sara kept you turning pages and trusting her to give her hero what is needed to save the day.

Jenna’s Branded by Fear gives you Mandy, a nurse not trusting her own choices and Logan, a search and rescue deputy in search of an escaped convict. Their lives intersect and intertwine as they team up to search for a lost hiker and become the hunted.

Taken Across Oceans is by the new to me N Y Dunlap and tells us of the search for a missing girl that causes Jasmine and Maddox to work together and in danger themselves.

Rebecca’s Tailored for Justice has seamstress Bailey in a dilemma between family and doing what’s right. Enter Decretive Jacob who senses she’s hiding something. Can she trust him and will they be able to work together to stop the conspiracy.

I was provided a copy of this book by the author/publisher. All opinions in this review are my own.”

This is a great collection of stories by a wonderful group of authors.
The first is a story of second chance love between a former special forces survivor and an injured surfer girl survivor. They reunite at a remote villa in Hawaii.
One is fighting the demons of a “failed mission.“ The other is running from a stalker.
Sara Blackard as always does a wonderful job with this intense book.
The second is in Mission, Texas where a nurse and a sheriff deputy are brought together when a fugitive from her past arrives in the area and he is tasked with finding him.
Jenna Brandt once again does a great job of combining intensity and faith based character.
The third is a woman In witness protection who wrongfully accuses a SEAL of abducting her student. The have to work together to try to stop the kidnapper in California but her past is about to make a drastic return.
The last story in this collection is a bomb threat in Kentucky. A seamstress and a detective are caught in a web of intrigue when she finds a note with information about a bomb in less than a week. She’s also threatened by a town councilman and her mom who abandoned her twenty years ago suddenly returns. Lots of twists and turns.

I am excited about Honor since Sara Blackard is one of my favorite, go-to authors. I read every book of hers that I can get! Tracked Secrets is intriguing and exciting! I like action and light suspense with my sweet, clean romance, and Sara always delivers! Zac and Selah, each having faced major life disruptions and struggling in their faith, are thrown together again, facing an unknown enemy. I enjoyed getting to know Selah and Zac as their personalities and character is revealed in each challenge! Sara does such a fantastic job creating characters and a story that invites you to immerse yourself and escape the cats of daily life! I devoured Tracked Secrets in one sitting and came away refreshed and inspired!

I also read new-to-me Rebecca Hemlock's Tailored for Justice in Honor and will definitely pick up more of her books! Jacob and Bailey are so real and relatable. The battle with fear that Bailey faces as she has to choose knowing the greater good might come at the cost of painful personal sacrifice was inspiring! Jacob is so steady, protective, and determined to track down all of the clues, even as he wrestles with personal issues. Tailored for Justice wrapped up in a surprising and yet very satisfying way! I really enjoyed it!

Throughout the pages within the cover of Honor, I just couldn't get enough of the stories. Tracked Secrets, by author Sara Blackard, was mystery and non-stop suspense from the beginning. Zac and Selah faced a lot together. Action was taken in the symbolism of a storm.
As I read Tailored for Justice, by Rebecca Hemlock, my heart clamored for the innocent young woman caught up in a web of deceit, lies, terrorism, and fear. As each incident played out, Bailey Callahan and Officer Jake O'Hara sought the path to keep the citizens of their city alive. I loved the chaos that was suspensefully woven into each act and chapter. The hint of romance and friendship added to the effect of longevity of life. All of these stories within the bindings of Honor were written with excellence and love. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars for their simplicity in every emotion that is available under the stars ...

This anthology will have you reading as fast as you can so that you will know what happens. The first story has you in the beautiful state of Hawaii. The main character running from a stalker and into an incoming hurricane. The second story will have you in the state of Texas with the character running from her past. Right into the path of a deputy and his brothers. I really hope there will be more stories to come from these characters. The third story will have you traveling the world. And the last story in this anthology will blow you away , literally and figuratively. This one will have you on the edge of your seat, wondering who to trust and who not to. I have found new authors to follow and look forward to reading more of their books.

Collection of 4 books:
Tracked secrets:
This was a good read. There's romance, action and heart. This was a slow burn , not for romance, but for the danger to be exposed. It made me keep turning the page.
Branded by fear:
This was a Christian suspense romance. The writing is well done. There's a fair amount of religion (mostly prayer). Clean, no cussing.
Taken across oceans:
This was an action suspense with a touch of romance. It's action packed and fairly violent.
Tailored for justice:
This is also an action suspense with a touch of romance. It's clean and well written, no cussing. There's a touch of religion, but it's not preachy.

This volume contains four books by four different authors and some of them are new to me authors. Each story is full of faith and suspense and the pages turn quickly while hanging on to the edge of my seat. You'll find a stalker and kidnapping during a hurricane; a fugitive and search and rescue with horses; a teacher in witness protection searching for a missing student, smuggled aboard a ship and rescued; and a seamstress and detective working together to find a bomb and those responsible before it's too late; and of course, some romance with a happy beginning for each couple. If any of this sounds interesting, I'd recommend this as a good summer read!

Wow! I started reading some of these stories and just wasn’t impressed. I couldn’t get into them at all. But then, I started reading the one by new to me author N. Y. Dunlap and WOW! What a story! Depth, suspense, action, faith… it was so intense! Excellent story! I’m rating it alone and I’m giving it 5 stars! Fantastic story!

Editing here to add that Rebecca Hemlock’s story “Tailored For Justice” was also fantastic. I loved the pacing, the style, and the plot that was so different than most I have read in this genre. Too many authors are rehashing the same scenarios and they get so predictable that they become boring. This one wasn’t. I will definitely be reading more by this author in the future.

This set of four books in one were excellent, suspense filled, mostly Christian reads which kept the reader gripped and turning the pages to find out who, what and where the action was taking place. Add in romance and lots of emotions to top it off - fabulous!

Four very different styles but equally riveting! Appreciated the clean story lines too. Highly recommended!

Thank you to Sara Blackard (one of the authors) for providing the Advanced Reader copy for free and this is my own opinion given voluntarily.

Selah was a pro surfer and one accident ended all of that but she has re invented herself and tried to work through the pain of her accident. Finally making headway and she starts getting creepy messages , someone is watching her. Panicking she contacts an old friend and heads off grid. Little does she know the one who got away after high school will show up fighting his own demons. Love this second chance romance where two is infinitely better than one!

A wonderful collection of Christian romantic suspense books. Sara Blackard is a long-time favorite author of mine but now I have three more to add to my list of favorites.
All four stories are a bit different but I enjoyed each one. There was plenty of action, suspense, drama, and romance as the main characters dealt with challenges whether a stalker, missing girl, questionable life choices, or possible terrorists. A great summer read!

Betrayal, Forgiveness,and Justice

These were great stories by four excellent authors. Each one has a great plot of suspense and mystery with strong characters who connected by mission. There was a message of betrayal, abuse or loss in each story with forgiveness necessary before moving forward in freedom and God's grace. This is a great series of books. I look forward to more by each of these authors.

Sara Blackard, Jenna Brandt, NY Dunlap, Rebecca Hemlock each have a separate novel in this book. That said, each of these authors did an outstanding job fleshing out their novels of suspense and intrigue. I actually did a marathon "read" of this novel and finished it in a day.

Honor is a book collection by several writers. They are very exciting stories based on Christian principles. The stories are well put together and remain exciting and engaging until the end. The characters are true to life and you get to know them well. A wonderful collection of stories for many hours of reading pleasure that I could hardly put down.

This is a unique compilation; there are two authors I love and know well, and two new to me authors. Every single one of these brought the suspense and made me want to read late into the night. I'm looking forward to digging into all four authors' backlists and can't wait to see what they all release next!

This was a wonderful collection of books by different authors. Sara Blackard was the only author I had read before and she did not disappoint in her book “Tracking Secrets .”
All the books in this collection were filled with suspense and inspiration. Each story intrigued you to keep reading page after page.

Loved these!

I absolutely loved ALL of these stories! Each of these books were filled with suspense and plot twists that I didn't see coming. N.Y. Dunlap is a new-to-me author, and her story didn't disappoint! I'm REALLY hoping that Love Inspired signs her for the series based off this book! I would absolutely read it!
You're going to enjoy these stories!
