Kelly McAllister is adjusting to her life as a IR team member. With a lot of loose ends and a girl she is protecting in a coma, Kelly is just trying to get through the day. As if her day to day work is not enough there is the attraction to Van Noziak. They are on opposites sides but when they get together there is an undeniable want that they are hesitant to act on. With the overwhelming task of protecting the girl and finding out about what her role in the matter is, Kelly has a difficult road in front of her.

This was the first book in the series that I have read and I was completely captivated. I so hope there is more to Kelly and Van's story, even though it is on shaky ground. Can't wait to find out next.

I just LOVE this author. This series is one of the best series I have come across and I really recommend it to anyone who loves paranormal, action mixed in with a little romance every now and then. I have read all her IR books to date and absolutely love them. The good news is, if this is the first one you read, no worries since it can be read as a stand alone. Things you would know from prior books she explain in enough detail for you to quickly catch up without going on and on about it like I have seen some authors do.

The IR series is fantastic and this one again shows what an excellent writer she is. She has a very nice writing style that captivates you and keeps you going until you realize you got to the end of the book. She weaves a nice web around you and won't let you escape until SHE is ready for you to :). Sadly this one ends on a cliff hanger, but since I am hooked it is not the end of the world since it is certain I will read the next book.

The story line is excellent. It has a very nice flow to it without feeling too dragged out or too rushed. Just perfect with lots of action. The characters are great. I especially love Kelly and Van as well as Alex. Mary really makes you feel like you have known them for some time and you are just catching up with an old friend.

This book is a must read for any paranormal lover.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

If you are looking for a great paranormal story with a lot of action and a little romance thrown in then you will LOVE the second book in The Kelly McAllister series! All of the amazing team members from the first book in this series Invisible Fears along with some new members are back to all work together on their newest assignment along with hunky Van Noziak…our favorite werewolf!
I absolutely loved this book and all of the characters that Mary Buckham has brought to life with her vivid descriptions in this urban fantasy that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
So if you are ready for an awesome story then get your copy and sit back and enjoy! This is definitely one that I recommend without hesitation to all of my friends and anyone who loves a great story!

I was lucky enough to be an advance reader of Invisible Secret Book Two: Kelly McAllister. Kelly is definitely a recruit who is coming into her own in the agency. She's one of my favorite characters in the series because she's so real and down to earth. The fact that she was a former kindergarten teacher gives he a warm, nurturing side that most invisible recruit agents don't have. I can appreciate her need to take care of others, but yet she's still focused on getting the job done. The fact that Mary Buckham has not made Kelly perfect also works so well. We'd all love to have a special gift such as Kelly's, but the tension is increased in this story because it seems Kelly has lost her special power and she faces the enemy head on knowing that she could end up at a disadvantage.
I've enjoyed all of the books in the Invisible Recruits series, but the fact that Kelly isn't as edgy as the others makes her stories different. Once you pick up one, you'll go back for more. Guaranteed.

The secret is out! This series is amazing, and a big part of that is because of Kelly. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy from the author, which meant that I got to find out what happened after Kelly and Alex got back from their impromptu trip in the last novella. I devoured the book, unable to put it down. The action was almost non-stop, and by the end, I'd laughed out loud, cried, and wished it had been longer. Mary Buckham is a master at telling a tale!

Once again, Mary Buckham writes a book you cannot put down. We get to learn more about Kelly McAllister in this book. I enjoyed reading about Kelly as she finds her way to speaking her mind and actually using some snark! Loved the tender scenes between Kelly and Van. I also enjoyed reading more about the other IR agents as they fight for their mission. This book is non-stop action. I cannot wait to read the next book!

Good to the very last full stop

This is hands down the very best series I have ever read. The characters, the setting, the plot. Way to go Kelly and the IR recruits.

Invisible Secrets by Mary Buckham is the 2nd book in her Kelly McAllister arc, which is part of her Invisible Recruits series. Invisible Recruits is an secret organization of agents who have different kinds of unnatural abilities to help them protect humans against non-humans. Kelly McAllister, who is our heroine, is just coming into her powers. A former teacher, now an IR agent, Kelly has the ability to become invisible. Alex Noziak is her best friend, and fellow team member of IR. Alex is a witch, and in the first three book of this series, she was the heroine. Alex plays a big part in this book, as do other team members. But this belongs to Kelly, as she is charged with taking care of a 15 year old seer, who is laying in coma.

Van Noziak is our hero, and is Alex’s brother. Kelly and Van have been attracted to each other for awhile, especially when they worked together in Africa, on her last assignment. Knowing that Alex is not happy about the two of them getting together, Kelly tries to keep her distance from Van. Well best laid plans do not always work out..

What follows, without giving any spoilers is an exciting adventure, with a demi god threatening all their lives to get his hands on the young seer. With the impossible tasks for finding the predator, who inhabits other peoples bodies, Kelly and Van find themselves in danger almost from the beginning. But the action gets intense, when the predators brings all his resources to the IR compound and Kelly must find a way to kill him, before he kills all her friends.

I liked the characters within the IR group, and Van, who is a werewolf. I also liked Kelly and Van together. Even though it was an exciting storyline, it was also a fast and light read. Invisible Secrets does end with a cliffhanger, which will lead to more for Alex and Kelly to continue this case.

Kelly McAllister is no ordinary kindergarten teacher. In fact, there's nothing ordinary about Kelly or her fellow Invisible Recruits.
Kelly finds herself alternately pairing off and facing off with hunky shifter/werewolf Van Noziak on a mission that could easily get them both killed. The mission? To protect a young girl who may hold the key to controlling powerful preternaturals.determined to destroy the world for their own purposes. Nothing a petite blond can't handle, right?

Mary Buckham has once again created a plot with unforeseen twists and turns, and populated with well-drawn, fascinating characters: bad guys worse than anything you ever imagined and the entire team of amazing Invisible Recruits with their special abilities and interpersonal relationships.

This series is a must read!

This is a series and this book didn't stop with the action. Kelly was a kindergarten teacher before she joined the Invisible recruits. She still has the heart and sole of the teacher, but the tenacity to protect her friends when the chips are down.

Kelly is on a mission to save a young girl . . . I will leave it at that, since i dont want to put any spoilers in here.

I absolutely loved this book although I hated the ending.

I just hope Mary Buckham finishes this series in a happily ever after for Kelly and Van.

I don't recall the exact dates on most of these books I know I read in 2015. That is why you will see me start on January 1, 2015 and keep going each day.

I am a fast reader but not THAT fast:-)

Now that I am using Goodreads all future read books will be dated correctly.
