If you haven’t read a Danielle Marcus book, you’re definitely missing out!

I've read a few books by Danielle and she surely didn't disappoint when it came to this one. I loved Diesel from the beginning. I didn't like Tiana because she seemed too clingy! I thought Renee needed some serious help before meeting Diesel. After giving each other a try, I was happy about the relationship between Diesel and Renee even though it was fast paced. They both had been through so much and sharing their pain only seemed to make their connection stronger. Ugh Mel! Why couldn't that chick just leave well enough alone. Tiana is crazy and needs some help! Oh my, Diesel made sure the person behind Renee's problems finally went away. Everything began to become clearer in the end concerning Mel because I was trying to figure out what her problem was. I'm mad she blamed Diesel because it seems as if she was the cause behind the tragedy more so than him. Now I'm ready for part 2 to see if the hood finally comes out of Renee, if Diesel will eventually get it right with his second love, and will Tiana & Mel get the karma that's due to them.

*A very special love story indeed*

I was very pleased with this author's decision to give two supporting characters, Renee & Diesel from Diamond's affair series, their own story. Although we knew some of their history from the series, it was great to see it from their point of view. The content of this story was captivating and attention grabbing while remaining consistent with what we already knew.

The story with a bang! It will have you sitting on the edge of your seat waiting for part II!

If you've read and loved any of this author's work before or you are looking for a mature urban fiction love story, this book is for you.

A Very Special Love Indeed

This was a good book. VSOP was definitely something different from all of the ghetto stories floating around right now. This story had all the makings of a good storyline and the author kept it going to the very end. There was drama throughout and it wasn't predictable. I enjoyed it immensely and will definitely be reading part 2. Kudos to this Danaille Marcus for a great story.

Happy Reading,

Very Special

Renée is a person that needs my special life. She has something horrible that happened to her when she was in her teens. She finally was able to put that behind her. Diesel found someone to replace his first love. To bad his doggish ways caught up to him. Tiana how can you fall in love with someone you didn't intimate or on a personal level. Mel needs to get professional help

Great Love story

V.S.O.P was the shit!!!! The only thing was that first his girl name would be Tonya then it was Tanya but what ever her name was the book was off the chain. So Mel was really crazy ass Hell she went through a lot to get back at Diesel we need to know what happens next. Patiently wait for part two. Great Job

Glad that Renee & Diesel found love despite their past. I am glad they are having a baby & they are married. Now he just needs to get those crazy tail women out of his life. They don't want to see him happy. I never figured Tiara & Mel was lovers. The real shocker was that she was dating his dead fiance also. Now they have them at gun point. On to part 2 to see what happens.

V.S.O.P.: A Very Special Love Story

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this case it is women. This was not your typical love story. There were so many twists and turns towards the end. I didn't see it coming. Is this the end for Renee and Diesel?

Not what I expected

Slow start which took me a while to finally read this book. Once into the storyline V.S.O.P captured my attention. And of course due to the cliffhanger at the end of book, I no choice but to read V.S.O.P 2. Hope it starts out better than book 1.
