A parallel novel to The Summer I Gave Up Boys

Home for his last summer before graduating college, Isaiah Winters should be focusing on the biggest decision of his life: whether or not to play pro ball.

But basketball is the last thing on his mind after a meeting in the airport with his old archenemy, Kaliyah Simon. Sparks always fly when the two of them start arguing, but little does Kaliyah know the ones on Isaiah's side are sparks of attraction.

He's been in love with Kaliyah since high school and this summer, Isaiah is determined to do something about it.

You've read Kaliyah's side. Now hear Isaiah's.

Welcome :]

Third person feels.... impersonal, so lezz just keep it real ;]

My name is Kassandra, one of the few rare gems who spell the name with a K. I like to read, write, and lay in the sun. Since I live in sunny Florida, I'm usually doing all three at once. I dream of returning to my hometown, Columbus, Ohio, but in the meantime I make do with placing most of my stories there. I come from a huge family dominated with girls and have a dopey, mostly-Black-Lab dog named Phineas. I tend to like fictional men better than real ones, and sometimes it's quite the hassle trying to keep up with all my book-relationships ;] Someday, though, I'm sure true love will strike me down, but until then, I'll share all my book boyfriends with you.

They can be found in all my novels, and I hope I speak the truth when I say I have a little something for everyone; mystery, romance, paranormal, real-life, drama and epicness. You can find information about my past, present, and forthcoming books in both my blog and Facebook links. I absolutely love to hear from readers, so be sure to drop me a line so I can thank you personally.

I'll leave you to read now, but welcome to my world; a place where true love exists, everyone gets a happy ending, magic is real, God is love, and it's perfectly acceptable to skip sleep, food, and company in order to finish that last chapter.

Oh, and the men are extremely good looking ;]

Isaiah’s story, he's has had a crush on Kaliyah for 7 years now, this summer he’s got to make her his, but Kaliyah has sworn of boys for the summer.

Isaiah is a nice good guy but ,were I liked Kaliyah in the first book reading this book made her look like a bitch.

This book was just as good as Kaliyah's story. It tells us the internal struggle that went through Isaiah while he was trying to win Kaliyah. It down matter whether you read this one first or Kaliyah's story first, you'll love both. Read them because there great.

In my review for the first novella, I mentioned how much I loved Isaiah. Welp, with this novella that’s completely changed. I can’t stand him. I hate that with his own story, Kassandra made him very sexist and that’s not something I can get behind. I was very close to giving this one star.

I paid to see Isaiah's point of view and this is essentially what you get. Nothing in the dialogue is different. There are different descriptions surrounding dialogue and scenes with both Isaiah and Kaliyah and we get what's going on in Isaiah's mind. I think he is a bit too obsessive about her in some places and that it can be pulled back. As he seems to be a very attractive guy who could have any chick he wanted, he seemed overly awkward around Kaliyah in places. Cute storyline regardless. Nice to get into Isaiah's mind.

I was so in love with the first book after I read it. This book is just as good, it shows the story from a different point of view that you don't get to find out about in the first book. The book might be predictable or you might think that the author is trying to get more money out of you by telling the same story from a different point of view, but truly I love this book.

I loved this book! I think it was better then the first book in this series. I think this book was more able to relate to. This book is more pages then the first book, but it also was a super quick read.
