Love the Bombshells 3: A Post-Apocalyptic Base Building Adventure

Rate this book
Three.

It's been three days since the Druids attacked us and nearly overwhelmed us. I have decided to travel south to the ruins of an old Army base to rescue a few survivors there. One of them, a beautiful woman named Iris, helped us out with something

Her melons.

That's right, our gardens were finally starting to grow! Iris had seeds, and our friends from Loch Raven brought some as well. Once spring rolled around we'd have more food than we knew knew what to do with. But with the new survivors here, I'm reminded that we needed to focus on certain

Big jugs.

Because no one had indoor plumbing yet. We still had to haul five-gallon jugs of water from the lake to our houses. Yet another thing to fix, but we're getting there. In fact, the whole settlement was really starting to come together. Things were about as good as could be, especially since now I had to learn how to handle three more beautiful women.

Im enjoying this Post apocalyptic adventure series for what it is: a Male Romance novel as it should be, No lovey dovey cuddling, Just sex and killing with technical details filling in the in between parts! This is the Smut novel you never knew that you wanted to read but happy you did. No objectifying women or treating them less than they should be... its just a lets all get along kinda novel and if they dont they will shoot you kind of thing! Enjoy!

Well, I definitely didn't expect THAT sort of a book when I first noticed the series and decided to download it (I got the audiobook version).
In all honesty - it's a light read, not some serious world bringing or anything, but it's a lot of fun. Jokes (that are even funny :D), loads of sex (and what sex at that) and some adventures. I can't wait for the next book to be dramatized, so I can hear what happens next!

It's getting hard, pun not intended, to ignore this is erotica, it's pretty up front here. Probably 30% of the book is dedicated to a sex scene, or a paragraph dedicated to the fmc's assets, like a lot of dialog is spent talking about the fmc's secondary sexual characteristics. A lot of convenient things happy for the mc, like everyone walking in front of his car so he can shoot them with his front mounted gun. And the three breasts thing is interesting, if not original, the way that LI's talks around it was actually funny. And there was relatively little 'base building' in this one. Not sure if I'll continue with it at this point, will probably start next one and drop it.

A lot of wasted potential, we get to see some of the other societies like the 'green people' being actual people and not just mutants. But everything else takes a backseat to the sex...really wish we got to see more of the world.

Okay, I have been enjoying the series, but this one went a little too far out there. It felt as though Carr was trying to fit the fantasy archetypes of a harem into this world, but it feels a little weird in this environment. For instance, the Total Recall fantasy just felt weird. Plus, the reappearance of She-Hulk was an interesting choice. I did like the idea of here desiring a different lifestyle, and the complications that will arise in Hope due to that desire. I also wasn't a fan of "innocent" Iris for most of the book. The jokes about melons and buns got old really fast. I did laugh at her character towards the end of the book, so she did get better.

However, the harem part of the book got a little weird for me, so I will probably be ending my journey in the world of Hope here.

Great continuation

I love how the car turned out, and the stuff with Sharg was amazing. The one thing I didn't like was all the "melon" and "buns" talk. It was funny for a few lines, but it got old really quick, and even after that, it came back again, Seriously, I'm all for dumb humor, but that was to much. Haha

Just a funny series, well done .trials and tribulations of a modern man waking up from a medical trial 80 years later to find a world destroyed and even more hostile.
The Baltimore trips just make me happy.

A huge amount of fun

This entire series is just a big mountain of fun to read. It's books like this that I need sometimes to enjoy and not take things to seriously.
