Out of the Dark: Angel Knight never knew anything was missing from his life. Not until one fateful night when he met her. She was fiery, beautiful, and he knew he had to make her his. Breanna Hunt lived a normal life until rock star Angel Knight walked into her life. He made her a job offer that she just couldn't refuse, but could she keep herself safe from his charms? Angel does everything he could to make Breanna accept him as her mate, but with a rogue vampire starts killing people associated with Angel it isn't easy. When the killer sets their sights on Brea, all bets are off.
Into the Light: Jessica Moxly needed a distraction. Plagued by horrific nightmares, actually visions, and an upcoming job interview, she was desperate for something else to think about. In a last ditch effort to dream about something, anything that didn’t involve blood or fear, she asks her witch friend’s Goddess for help. Then the dreams about him started. A beautiful man with no face but icy pale blue eyes began to haunt her dreams with the promise of passion. Sebastian was happy as producer and head of security for Angel Knight. His plate was full and he was content. Until he saw her. She was the image of a woman from his past, a past he had desperately tried to put behind him. No matter what he did, he could not erase her from his mind. When she shows up on the doorstep of the Knight Estate to interview for the accountant position, he knows his life is about to get much more complicated. Torn by his past, and leery of his future, Sebastian must decide whether or not to let this woman into his life. Into the Fire: Rebel had finally found his mate, and oh boy was she a fiery one! Convincing Leigh that she was his could prove dangerous to Rebel's well being... Keeping her would prove dangerous to his entire family and everyone he loves. To keep Leigh and his family safe, Rebel will have to change who and what he is and fight the battle of a lifetime... From the Ashes: Dead people are supposed to stay dead, right? For Antonio, that just wasn't going to happen. With what Antonio knows, heaven will have to wait. Macy had always been sensitive to the spirits of those who needed help to find peace, but this guy! He was driving her insane! It didn’t help that he was gorgeous to a distraction. So what if he claimed that Angel Knight was his family? One does NOT just stroll up to the famous rock star's house and say "Hey guess what?" But Antonio is very persistent and Macy knows what she must do if she is going to get any peace at all. Jacque spent all of his free time looking for a way to contact his lost brother. But it seems all hope is lost until not one, but two women walk into his life. One is a pretty necromancer who claims Antonio speaks to her, the other is one he had been searching for himself for a long time. He had known Frankie was destined to be his mate, but she disappeared from his life before he could make her understand that. Now that she’s back, he doesn't plan to ever let her go.
Into Forever: Gage had been with the Knight family for more years than he could remember. He watched as each of his brothers found and claimed their mates. It really was no surprise to Gage when he found his own mate in a beautiful fey woman who had already become as close as family. The only problem was that Serena was promised to another man by her family. Into the Divine: Detective Samuel Corbin had seen his share during his life as the human liaison with the local vampire clan.
I live in KY with my family. While I hold a "real job" my first love will always be writing. I enjoy lots of different kinds of books, and many different authors. Some of my favorites are, but not limited to, Sandra Hill, Lori Foster, Kelly Armstrong, Stephen King, James Patterson, J.R. Ward and Emma Holly. But I think I would read just about anything with a good plot.
Here are a few of my reviews for the books included in this amazing set!!
---> OUT OF THE DARK 5 *WINK* READ A time where Vampires and Werewolves live freely in our world. Our knowledge of them is limited but, none the less, we accept them. Except for Brea, whose first encounter when she moved to LA was not a kind one.
That's until Brea met Angel Knight.
Danielle James paints a visual masterpiece with her characters. It will feel like there is a movie playing in your head with each turn of the page. And who can resist a stubborn red head and a sexy vamp? or two?
-----> INTO THE LIGHT 5 *WINK* READ Jessica was tired of waking up afraid and not knowing what her dreams meant. She just wanted to sleep and have a dream that wasn't plagued with blood or horror. She got her wish and started dreaming about a pair of blue eyes that left her panting and wanting more.
Sebastian is second in command to Angel Knights clan. He, too, is haunted by dreams but he is aware of their source. His past haunts him, guarding his heart and his emotions to anyone who tries to get in. Even from Jessica.
I LOVE Jessica in this book. Yes, the name rocks, but she is a girl who knows what she wants and how to get it! The fact that the book continues to touch upon Brea and Angel's continued story is amazing!
Danielle James keeps it going and I cannot wait to read book 3 in her Forbidden Love Series!
----> INTO THE FIRE 5 *WINK* READ WOW...I have read Danielle's first two books, but this one had me gasping a few times. Danielle James brings to life a love story I never thought possible!
One of Angel Knights band mates, Rebel, becomes obsessed with a curvy stranger. Little does he know Leigh is onto him and wants to put a stop to his prying before her secret is out. Leigh is running from her past and no one can get close to her unless they want to be put themselves in constant danger. Danger must be Rebel's middle name as he is persistent and even after learning about Leigh's past and who, or rather what, she really is his obsession only grows stronger.
The story of the Knight clan continues and in Book 3 gets even better than the last!
----> INTO THE DIVINE 5 *WINK* READ In a way I didn't want to write this review because in doing so I too was saying goodbye to some of the most loved characters I have read. Even just typing that first sentence I have tears in my eyes. Danielle James created a family that we have all come to love in her Forbidden Love Series! Hold onto your seats cause you are going to be in for one hell of a ride...Emotional, tense, hot, and thrilling are just a few words I can use to describe Into the Divine. I literally clutched my chest on multiple occasions while trying to maintain control from the emotions this book was brought out of me.
And the way it ended...
*heavy sigh* the way it ended...
Danielle James you have given us all a gift by sharing your Forbidden Love Series with the world and words can not describe the impact you and your characters have had on my life!

Danielle James you have given us all a gift by sharing your Forbidden Love Series with the world and words can not describe the impact you and your characters have had on my life!
I’m not sure how to approach this review. Frankly, the authors blurbs really do a pretty darn good job of describing each of the interconnected but stand-alone stories in this boxset. I love the world created by Danielle James’s Forbidden Love series with its vampires and werewolves integrated into society even if remaining secretive. It just seems like a much more realistic approach while still leaving more than enough room for the wonder of the still unknown. Add to that the lead and supporting characters in each of the books and how they and the plots build in each other book to book. And the sex is pretty darn smokin’ too. The result of all this is high caliber fun which I can only highly recommend.
Danielle James certainly didn't disappoint. I felt every emotion imaginable as I read this series. From love for each and every character, their pain, overwhelming grief, and happiness. The words leapt from the pages and into my heart. Danielle brought these characters to life with her impeccable writing ability, pulling at your heart strings through heart pounding and nail biting scenes. If you're looking for thrills, suspense, undying love and vampires that'll make your heart scream, this is the series for you. Five stars!
What a awesome series. It starts out with Angel and Brea and goes on from there. You will not be disappointed with this series of books. I laughed I cried got angry and almost through my kindle. But I got through it all. You will not be disappointed with reading this at all. Danielle James this was great I couldn't put it down. To everyone out there you are going to not be able to put this down. This is a series that I will read again.
Initially, this series began on a sophomoric level, and I wasn’t sure I could keep going with it, but boy I’m glad I did. Each novel builds on the last until you are knee-deep in Love with the “family.” There is enough adventure to keep you involved, seduction to keep you heated, and love to make you a believer that each of us really has a perfect soulmate out there somewhere. This series was a thoroughly enjoyable read!
This was one of the best series’ I’ve read lately. I couldn’t be happier with it. Every book, and that’s hard for me to say. I bawled through the ending tears of hate, frustration, anger, love, grief, and enjoyed every moment. Each of the characters comes to feel like part of your life and with their own perks and quirks. Thank you for this series.
I start this series cause nothing else sounded good. I have never read anything from this author. I am now hooked. This series is amazing. You will laugh, cry, and even wonder what the world but it is all so well written. It's a must read.
I absolutely loved this series. I couldn't put it down. Now I hate that it has ended. The only part I disliked was the continuous sex scenes, a little is ok, but not page after page.
This was a job stop reader I had to keep going book to book to see what was going to happen next. Great story and an awesome read! I do hope you will write the books of the children so we can keep the story going! I highly recommend this series!!
read and reviewed this wonderful series individually............ Out Of The Dark- 5 Stars Out Of The Dark is a wonderful story and I am so very glad that I read it. I loved this story so much, I could not stop reading it!! It is almost 5am and I just finished it. Angel and Brea are perfect together and I loved that they didn't fall into bed together within the first five minutes of meeting each other. Their story flowed smoothly with lots of love, humor, tears, excitement, dread, worry and hope. The sex was steamy without being overkill. The supporting characters were so easy to love, I hope they each get their own story! Will recommend that all of my friends read it, and will definitely buy other work from this author!! Loved it!!
Into The Light- 5 Stars I fell in love with this series in Out Of The Dark!! Sebastain and Jessica are great together!! He is bound and determined to stay away from her, for her own safety, but she is having none of it. The things she does to bring him around to her way of thinking are fun, silly, and slightly dangerous. But hilarity ensues!! I loved that Angel and Brea were still around in this story, along with all the other characters for us to love. The bad guys in this one made it quite interesting and I read the entire book without stopping once!! Thank you Danielle James for another great story!!
Into The Fire- 5 Stars Holy Cow!! Book 3 was amazing!!! I love this series!! Rebel finds his mate in a most surprising female and Leigh wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Still loving the fact that the characters from the first 2 books abound in this one. Can't get enough of this family!! Their journey is filled with excitement, humor, love, family, and gut wrenching sadness. So many emotions were wrung from me while reading this story! Danielle James just gets better and better!! Again, I read it in one sitting. They are hard to put down. Loved it!!
From the Ashes- 5 Stars Wow!!! This book was a real rollercoaster ride!! Jacque and Frankie, Antonio and Macy, and all the other brothers are here too! There are twists and turns, laugh out loud moments and pure, unadulterated heartbreak. I cried so hard I couldn't see. Alpha males the way they are meant to be; ready to die for their mates. A family that knows what it means to be a real family. This book has everything that I like in a paranormal romance, and a villain that I would like to see killed a thousand painful ways!! I loved it, just like I loved the rest of this series. They need to be read in order, but are well worth the time and money. 5 Huge Stars!!
Into Forever- 5 Stars This is book five in The Forbidden Love Series. Danielle is in my top 5 favorite authors and I will read anything she writes!! I loved this book, just as i loved the others in the series. One of the things I love most is that all of the characters I fell in love with in Book one, appear on all consecutive books. For that reason, the series should be read in order.
Gage is in love with Serena, a Fey Princess, who is forbidden to see him and is promised to another. Gage will do anything to claim her and make her his mate, even bear a title he doesn't want. I laughed out loud, cried, worried myself sick, and sighed with absolute happiness at the end. I highly recommend this series to any and all. It speaks to my heart and soul. And the fact that Gage is hot enough to melt glass doesn't hurt anything either!! 5 Stars!!!
Into The Divine- 5 Stars This is going to be one of the hardest reviews I have ever written. Not only because of the book itself, but also because this one ends the series. An amazing writer is one who can draw you into a story and make you believe every thought, emotion, and detail. It doesn’t matter that it is paranormal and about creatures that don’t exist. You feel every single thing they feel. You root for them, laugh with them, cry for them, and sigh with happiness when things go well. For me, this series has everything I want in a book or storyline. These people choose to be a family. They are not together because of the circumstances of their birth. They are together because they love and respect one another, as a family should. Each and every one of them would die for the others, and some of them do. Into The Divine is the final book in the series, and in my humble opinion, is the best. Not only do we get to see the last “Brother” find his mate, but we get to see all of them, each and every one, fight together for the good of all mankind. It is a painful, emotional, gut wrenching ride at times. But it made me happy down to my soul, and made me ugly cry on more than one occasion. It has been one hell of a ride, and I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Thank you Danielle James for letting me be a small part of this journey, and for making me love this family unconditionally. There are not enough stars in the sky to rate this book, or this series, but since 5 is all they will let me give, it is my honor to do so.
I actually started this series when it first came out, but I could never remember the titles or author. I loved the books, but they disappeared from my history. I found the books again last year, and I loved rereading them! I love the characters and the storyline. I must admit that I cried a few times in the last books. Into the Fire, From, the Ashes, and Into the Divine had some teary moments. I loved Antonio and Frankie, and the addition of dragons, witches, and goddesses. Into the Divine was my favorite book, and I always read that book privately. Even when I know what is coming, it gets to me every time. I love that it now comes in a boxed set, and I would definitely recommend this series!! I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book.
That was a really great set of books. I like collections that tell the story of each couple. Each pairing had their trials of love and heartbreak. Great story loaded with sex, passion and action! I did like this collection however, right around book 5 is when I started to get a little bored. Glad 6 was the end. Wasn’t sure how much more I could take. It started to get predictable. But a great read nonetheless!
This book set was absolutely amazing. Its a series of stories about Vampire brothers who fall in love with forbidden people/species. Each story is told tastefully and you feel like you are there with each couple. I don't have a favorite because I love them ALL! The ending scared me for a minute. DONT SCARE me like that! The stories are beautiful and loveable. Great book. READ THEM, just don't if you dislike paranormal. I loved it. Thank you!
I am coming in on the second book. I need to read the first one as this one is a great read. It is exciting, suspenseful, emotional, intriguing, and so much more. It has plot twists and turns. It is well worth reading. I won't give anything away. It is an intense read an needs to be read to get it all. I was given a review copy by Inkitt and voluntarily review it.
I stumbled across this series by accident. let me tell you that it's such a special series it has everything you want in a vampire romance and then some. You would be crazy to miss this one.
Be prepared to laugh and seriously cry. You really wAnt to hurt Danielle at times for the ride she takes you on. With that said Oh my F'ing gosh what a ride. The last time I cried like this was in Karen Marie Moning and Sherrilyn Kenyon books. Go forth and READ...
