Typically snooty and precious--PBS pledge break sort of stuff; all the more so since it's English (and then there's all the Anglo references I do not get). And a lot of it taken up by assorted goobers' "6 books I'd take to a desert island" (only Quentin Crisp had the sense to take along a book on how to build a raft and one on cooking without fire).
