Wow, this finale was raw, gritty and very descriptive. Sha left nothing to the imagination when it came to the cruelty of Cassius. So if you're uncomfortable with gory scenes then this isn't for you. But I loved how realistic it was. I loved all the obstacles and challenges both Humble and Valor faced. An easy story is boring but one that presents challenges worthy of them being victorious is well worth it. The ending felt like a movie when it came to Kane. These men are like smooth criminals. They enter in like the wind and leave as quiet as they came. So dangerous lol This was a great read. Better than what I expected. I don't think I've read a book as raw as this...🤔Sha Jones deserves every award and accolade because this was an incredible series. Well done! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

What a good ending to a good series!
This series was the truth!! It had all the elements of a good hood love story. There was struggle, real love, betrayal, boss vibes, action, a FMC who made it shake when need be, there was absolutely no cheating no side chicks no nothing! Humble was the truth and he loved Valor like she was the only woman on the face of the earth. Humble was broken but he kept his head up and didn’t bow down to nobody. He was definitely a self made boss serving BDE. His family failed him. I don’t care how Selene came through at the end to me she was too late to be playing mother. Her being so called scared caused more harm than good for all of her children. Cassius had loyalty for nobody but himself. He was jealous and acted like a big kid having a temper tantrum when things didn’t go his way. That power trip had a chokehold on him. He was one of those types of ppl who didn’t like anybody to outshine him children included. He was evil and to do what he did to Val was a true testament of his character being a POS. He said he loved his boys but he didn’t. Love wouldn’t make you outright do what he did to his boys. I felt bad that they got caught up in the middle of his stuff. Yet at the same time they knew what was going on and they were cowards too. They didn’t deserve what happened to them though. Kane smh I still can’t believe how he was only around for paper. He wasn’t loyal to anyone with the way he was moving back and forth. He was the true definition of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. Kraven was cool with me because when Humble called he came running regardless of how Selene did his and Humble’s relationship. I would say although I was here for all the action it got too extreme when it came to how Val was being treated and tortured in Cassius’ care. I’m sorry but Kane deserved more than what he got at the end. That wasn’t checkmate enough for me lol. If you decide to read this book…which you should just make sure you read the trigger warning in the beginning because this book does have plenty of triggers. Other than that I am so glad that Humble and Val finally got their happy ending they deserved some happiness after everything they went through. Like I said this was definitely a good read.

Humble and Valor, Love Through the Storms
This finale definitely quenched my thirst and I answered all my question!!!…
Uggghhhh!!!…Kane did not suffer enough, because the way Valor had to suffer at the hands of Cassius, he definitely needed to feel more than just the the emptiness of his girl being gone!!!…But I eat that message is resonating with him and he’s looking over his shoulders now!!!…
Cassius was one very tormented, sick and sadistic person!!!…He definitely got what he deserved and I was here for it!!!…
Big Mike left an impression as a character for me because he was riding for Valor with no question at all!!!…Broke my heart for him to go out like he did!!!…
I loved the way Kraven stepped for his family!!!…

OMG what a great read thank Sha Jones you did your thing one of my favorites
Valor and Humble went thru the war and pain and finally came out on top. Valor was strongest despite her struggles and pain she went thru abuse and mental warfare. Humble found his biological father Kraven who he thought was uncle for years who really taught him how to be a man. Cassius his so called father was sick in the head he killed his own sons and raped Valor to break her and break Humble because of jealousy and power. Humble brothers Evren, Quillion,and Darden died because they didn't follow his rules and Cassius control on their lives so he took them out. Kane also got what he deserved after all the pain and chaos he caused and killing Big Mike the betrayal . Valor saved him she never gave up on him Humble kept his promise to his wife a bond like no other.

I loved this series , now I love how humble didn’t play about his wifey! I just hate that Kane didn’t get the death he truly deserved . But I can understand him losing his love and unborn son! I just knew she was going to tell humble he kissed her ! I felt like if she would’ve did that a lot of things would’ve been avoided! But then we wouldn’t have had the scene at the ranch! I wasn’t expecting the daddy to kill all of his sons but then again it made sense because he was so power driven and if you weren’t with him you were against him by any means smh ! I love how mama got her man and finally showed up for humble! And my girl, V rose to the damn occasion to fight for her man! I’m glad he taught her how to shoot because she was blowing them heads off like she been in the game! Loved it ! Such a great filler before we continue with Pressure 😁😁

This was everything, well worth lost sleep!!!!!!
This finale had me all in my darn feelings! Valor should have never left that house but when she was taken, A war was declared. Cassius was an evil man that got just what he deserved and Kane didn't get enough! I couldn't believe the things that evil man did to Valor, he had no soul! Look what he did to his blood sons, but Humble pushed through all his emotions and he along with Kraven and the Calvary showed up and showed out! Sha Jones you wrote the heck out of this book! You left no emotion uncovered. It was raw, it was suspenseful, painful, and truly beautiful! To have a love like they had was so deep and heartfelt. Every woman needs a Humble!!! Wrapped up in a beautiful bow, I loved it!!!!

Valor was handled things when Humble was in the hospital. As soon as he noticed his wife missing he hit the streets and he wasn't even healed properly. He tore up the city looking for her. He in listed Kraven because he has power to find her. Cassius did Valor the way he did to show her and Humble that he held all the power. Cassius doesn't even deserve the title and husband the way he did his sons. Kane is wallowing in his misery Humble killed his girlfriend because he kidnapped Valor for Cassius. Kane is only loyal to money. That's why Humble left him the note that said checkmate. Humble asked Kraven why he didn't acknowledge that he was his father? Selene thought it was for the best so Kraven went along with it

Awesome!!!
I have cried, screamed, and wanted to fight while reading this finale. I won’t give too much away, but just know Cassius despicable ssa got exactly what he deserved!!! I wasn’t happy with Kane’s ending, but I got it, Humble took someone he loved and valued, while still allowing him to be their for his children and live with the guilt of knowing he’s the reason for them losing their mother. It just shows Humble is ‘That 🥷’… I’m extremely happy that Humble and Valor got their happily ever after!!! Another awesome finale to an amazing series, great job Sha Jones, I loved it!!!

Loved A Thug's Promise
I would rwcommend.this series! The finale was nicely written! I went from happy to sad, angry, and then happy again! The live and devotion that Humble and Valor had for each other was unmatched! He was humbled in every sebse of the word, and the love,respect, and protectiveness are unmatched! Humble never batted an eye at another woman he was truly devoted to Valor! Valor learned some hard lessons, but she finally understood the "why" in everything that Humble did.
The ending was beautiful. Those who deserved to be dealt with were and some of those were collateral damage.

Sha Jones this book was great penmanship. I truly enjoyed reading it. This couple survived so much pain and hardship. I love their names Valor and Humble. Valor meaning great courage in battle and strength of the mind a spirit to face danger and she displayed it in the storyline. Humble was meek but not weak he was a true Alpha Male. I loved the characters they both are survivors, This book contains violent scenes, and graphic details but it also contains a true love story. Love conquered all In this series. I most definitely would recommend this book. This book was a Great Read.

The outrageous demonic acts that Cassius and Kane had done to try to break the foundation between Humble and Valor; for power and money. The butterfly metaphor, oh my and Kraven with the task force. The Promise (devotion, protection, bond). There is so much I want to include but don't want to provide any spoilers. You will not be disappointed💯

That DAMN HUMBLE
Where do I begin? First let me say this was a fire series. I could not put it down. I won't ruin it and give details, all I can say is everyone got what was coming and what is understood don't need to said. At times I was thinking Humble was to good to be true, no he is the definition of a real man with real feelings who was not afraid to wear his feelings on his shoulder to show his love for his WIFE!!!.😍 Read the entire series and you won't be disappointed. This is a real review, not no paid promotion. I bought all 3 books, love it from beginning to end.

More than Amazing
This book was absolutely amazing, humble proved himself to be the standup husband that he was and he is. Valor went through so much upon the hands of Cashaus but he got exactly what he deserved but needed a bit more. I feel Sha left some loop holes in the story because there must be more. It has to be more because there’s more to tell because I still feel like Carlos or whatever his name did not get all the karma he needed so please give us more of this Thugs promise.

Good Read
Got darn it he took my girl valor through it down there. I think Cassius got off easy. I wanted what was done to Valor to be done to him. I also wanted to see her father try and come back or the new wife in need of help from them or something. They got off easy too but overall this was a great read. Definitely recommending to others. Can’t wait for the next release. That darn Cassius was crazy smh

Violence extreme
This book has to much violence involving women, the brutal beating from men is to extreme. The revenge was between the men, the women should been protected from their vengeance. The violence that Valor endured while she was pregnant was extremely disgusting. I do not recommend this book. The trigger warnings needs to be specified.

Humble Me
I read many many books but this character really grab me. He came,he saw and he conquered. Val wasn't no slouch either. Every line kept me into this book. The wait for the final end was worth it. I've always been a fan. Please continue to woo us. Love your work.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 without a doubt.😍😘

Amazing!!!!!
This series was so amazing, so fire. I know at some point I will be rereading it just how good it was. It had it moments, had me on the end of my seat like what's about to happen now (lol). Excellent book and the story line starting from book one flowed into books 2 and 3. I read all 3 books in 4 days. Once you start reading book one you will not be able to stop until you read the whole series to see the outcome of the story of Humble and Valor. Excellent book.

Checkmate!
This was heavy. I mean I thought killing the sons was a lot. But did you have to write him doing that to her? I had to skip that part once I realized what he was about to do. Cassius was evil!! Kane did not deserve to keep breathing but I guess Humble was satisfied with how he handled it. This was a good series. A bit intense but good.

Valor baby
My girl is a straight G. She went through the worse of the worse and is still ten toes down for her man. I'd that ain't love I don't know what is. But Humble is crazy work. I can't believe he took out a pregnant woman. Now that man gotta explain this to his kids. How sway? Too much for me.

Love this series
At first it started off kind of slow and wasn’t really grabbing my interest but as I got more into the story it had my full attention and I loved every bit of it. Humble and Valor deserved their happy ending after everything they went through. Highly recommended read!!!

Man. This book took me on a roller coaster ride for sure!!! I was so emotional throughout this whole series honestly. Some parts were so strong I could really understand and empathize with the characters! I will definitely keep this series in my library. Great job Sha!!

great read
This was the best crazy dangerous suspense filled story. Humble definitely is that guy his word is his bond. Valor had no idea what she was in for but she took a chance on Humble and for sure was in for the ride of her life… I loved every part of this story. Greedy me would love to get more from them but this was very satisfying.

I hate the fact that in Valor’s life she has been a victim of SA twice. I hate the fact that the second time it happened she was pregnant with Honor. I was so happy that Cassius got what he deserved. I wanted Kane to be tortured. I wanted him to feel the hurt and anguish that Humble felt. But I understand why the author got the revenge in that way.

GREAT!!!!
I would recommend this series to everybody. It was truly amazing to read. The character s kept you guess and the storyline was alive. I am not going to say to much because I will give it away. But I will say this, Congratulations Ms Jones you did it.
I would recommend this series to everybody. It was truly amazing to read. The character s kept you guess and the storyline was alive. I am not going to say to much because I will give it away. But I will say this, Congratulations Ms Jones you did it.
