Not what I expected
Crys and Brutus are back. Many characters are back.
It is always interesting to see how an author evolves. Tiffany Ann is always a must read for me.
This story is fast paced and to the point. The characters don't beat around the bush.
I appreciate the therapy rep.
Ends on a cliffhanger.

Thanks to the author for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
The first in a new spinoff series, this book concentrates on characters we've met before in previous books so I recommend reading in order to fully understand their background.
Once again Tiffany Ann delivers glorious imagery in short, concise sentences giving insight and perception to fully understand the emotions rolling through her characters. Fantasy is woven throughout the realism of characters who provide counselling and support with her take on shapeshifters and vampires giving a gentle nudge towards the importance of acceptance and living together in harmony.
This book had me hooked, right to the unexpected final scenes, don't miss it!
