Doug has over 35 years of experience in corporate consulting, retirement plan and healthcare sales, sales management, and customer service. He takes his years of experience, leadership, and research and gives the reader a guide to increase their bottom line by having happier employees. While working for large companies like Great West, CNA, The New England, and Aetna, he implemented 401(k) and healthcare plans for organizations of all sizes, often meeting with top management--CEO's, CFO's and VP's of Human Resources, as well as, employees from all departments throughout organizations. He has received numerous sales awards and recognition throughout his successful career in corporate America.

Doug has enjoyed living in different areas of the country--Ohio, West Virginia and Massachusetts--and has resided in the metro Atlanta area for the past 16 years with his wife of 36 years, BJ. Doug and BJ love to spend time with their family which includes seven grandchildren. Doug has a bachelor's degree from Mount Union University in Alliance, Ohio where he played basketball. He held the career scoring record for over 20 years and was inducted into the Mount Union Athletic Hall of Fame in 1992. In 2010 he was inducted into his high school's (Louisville High School, Louisville, Ohio) Athletic Hall of Fame as well. When scheduling permits, Doug can be found on one of the many great golf courses in the Atlanta area.

In retrospect this problem pales into insignificance by comparison to that of contracting out.
