Larva High School Trilogy #1

Sensitivity & Strength

Rate this book
Have you ever made promises that you came to regret?

Sara and Ben made a pact that nothing would change between them when they started high school.
But that was before they knew what high school is really about and before they realized that maybe there was more to being a couple than longtime friendship.

Being a teenager is hard enough with all the hormonal changes going on, but dealing with bullies, pressure, and stress makes it way worse. And let’s not forget about forbidden feelings for friends or crushes on people so out of your league that it’s depressing.

Sensitivity & Strength is a book for every teenager (and adult who remembers what it was like.)

My road to becoming an author has been anything but straightforward. I was simply busy with life--busy finding that special someone, busy creating a family, and busy making a career in the event industry. Today I'm grateful that I did, because it gave me the opportunity to meet thousands of interesting people from all over the world, including pop/rock stars, famous actors, spiritual leaders, presidents, and royals. It was a great gift as it taught me a lot about people, from all walks of life and from different cultures!

In mid-2011 my handsome husband Ian got offered to transfer from Copenhagen (we are both from Denmark) to Seattle. I took it as an opportunity to have more time with my family and live out my dreams of coaching, speaking, and writing books full time.
Here I am, doing just that - and loving every minute of it!

All our books serve to entertain you but more importantly, they provide the means to overcome life, when it hits you in your face. (And it does... doesn't it?)

WOW! What a book, I loved it. Can you say drama drama drama there was so much of it. This is my first read by Mia and it was a really great book. My favorite thing about this book was the different POVs. I loved getting into the minds of all the characters. The multiple POVs let you see what each character is going through. All the characters were great, it didn’t have enough character building or development. But overall this book was awesome, I enjoyed every minute of and I’m looking forward to reading the next book.

Wonderful

Wonderful

This book accurately described high school life. I love the main characters, I also love how everyone acted around each other. One of the best books I have ever read.

Goo High School

It was enjoyable reminded me of high school, it was enjoyable. I would recommend this to any high schooler. It had a good message about suicide prevention.

I can't believe I get to be the first to make a review of this book. Pretty cool :-)
This book should be made into a movie... i can totally see everything in my mind and it would be the best movie ever. I REALLY loved this book and even though I was only suppose to skim a little before doing my homework, I couldn't put it down and now I'm screwed and way behind on my homework :-(
But the book SO worth it and I can't stop thinking about the characters and already downloaded the second book. This is a perfect combination of teen love, drama and also some pretty deep stuff.
Great book! I highly recommend!

The first book in the Larva High School series introduces the main characters Sara, Amber, Josh, and Ben and their friends. The teens are typical high school students who face different and sometimes difficult problems with friends, parents, home work, and dreams about the future. The entertaining story is a fun a quick read for all teens and their parents who may just learn something new about how their teenage kids think and manage problems. The book presents creative techniques that both teens and parents can use to navigate the sometimes confusing and hormone-driven high school years.

This book was nice to read but sometimes it seemed to me that the message was pushed to the reader, breaking the flow of the story. Since I'm not in the intended age range, maybe younger readers wouldn't mind that much.

The strength of the book is in the nice insights and relevant things to keep in mind before acting on the perception one has of someone else. Misunderstandings can escalate so fast!

Entertaining book(s) for teenagers (read them all). Nice pace and length, and very easy to read--on the beach or hanging out.
