All about Sleep for babies and toddlers

This book covers everything parents need to consider when trying to understand their infant’s sleep needs. There are good explanations of the need for sleep, different types of sleep across developmental stages, and how to help infants and children prepare for sleep. The no tears method, the Ferber method and the chair method are discussed. Sleep routines are explained. Sleep aids and monitors are discussed clearly. There is a chapter on babies and toddlers with special needs, like ASD. Parental care and agreements are emphasized, also support from elsewhere and single parents’ methods. There are some redundancies in the text, the same issues covered here and there, but they do not distract too much from the messages in the book.
