October 11, 2014 This is a wonderful collection of musings, and a wonderful collection of insights into Indian culture, life, belief, and love. It would be interesting to see it also in Bengali language and script to practice translations on in study. Just beautiful!

The Lotus of Fire is a gentle and imaginative collection of poetry that invites the reader to slow down and appreciate the beauty of nature. I enjoyed the way the poems explore subjects such as grass, meadows, hills, mountains, and volcanoes while also leaving room for more unexpected ideas.
What stood out to me was the sense of imagination throughout the collection. The poems feel like little journeys, encouraging you to look at familiar parts of the natural world from a different perspective. There is a peaceful quality to many of the pieces that makes the book easy to dip into and enjoy.
Overall, The Lotus of Fire is a pleasant and thoughtful poetry collection. It may be a short read at 55 pages, but it offers plenty of imagery and moments for reflection. I would recommend it to readers who enjoy nature-inspired poetry and simple imaginative explorations of the world around us.
