OMG, what a book…
the hardest book to keep up with. It was almost unreadable at the beginning. the middle was good, but the beginning and the end were awful. it was too hard to follow and felt unbelievable. it was also hard to relate to. it’s sad because the plot had potential, and the characters were developed. but overall, i just didn’t feel comfortable reading it. i didn’t fall in love with nicolas paolo. and that’s not normal, I fall in love with every mafia made man !

"Okay, so I devoured this book – finished it in a day! I fell head over heels for Nicholas. He's this badass, protective guy who's cold and feared by everyone, but he's got this soft spot only for Aria. The push and pull between them? Amazing. Seriously, this is probably one of my favorite reads this month.
It's a bit of a slow burn, but it's so worth it. The payoff is tons of action, seriously steamy scenes (and I mean tons), and a plot that kept me completely hooked. The pacing was great, and the ending was just... perfect.
My only tiny issue was that sometimes Aria could be a little frustratingly naive. I get why she was doing what she did, but it was hard to reconcile that with the fact that she knows her family's in the mafia. But honestly, that's a small gripe in an otherwise incredible book.
Overall, this was an amazing read, and I would highly recommend it to any mafia romance lover! It's such an enjoyable debut. We've got Nicolas Paolo, a powerful mafia boss and enemy to Aria's family. They're forced into a marriage for alliance purposes, and Aria's supposed to get information for her brother. But she also gets her freedom to live how she wants. It's a slow burn that turns hate into love, with lots of action, steam, and a great plot. I'm already looking forward to more from Reiya – hopefully in the same world, but I'm sure whatever she writes will be fantastic!"

Mafia Arranged Marriage… Good Book
This is a good book which has Nicholas (boss of bosses) and Aria the sister of his rival Marco, there is someone coming after both Nicholas & Marco so an arranged marriage between Nicholas & Aria is to show strength to the people after them.
That side of the story has murder and torture but there was no mention of what happened to the woman leading the attack once she was captured…. I would have preferred to know what happened with her.
Nichola & Aria start off as indifferent as she is there to spy on his organisation and give Marco intel so she can have her freedom to live outside of the mafia.
However they start to fall for each other and she admits to what she has been doing against him, the smexy scenes are hot and detailed.
However he talked about “the room” and yet we never saw them in there so not sure why it was mentioned.
I expected him to take her there when she came back that day and he had the blindfold & cuffs but nope.
This is a good story and very likeable characters and my only gripe is there are a few grammatical errors and the dock worker calling Nicholas “Mr Rossi” instead of Mr Paolo.
Other than this I really enjoyed the book.

I am not someone who likes to write mean stuff but this book was bad. It felt like it was reading wattpad again.
"The man that every woman in this room desires ...and every man envies" This line was just giving me wattpad vibes.
The plot was kind of okayish but there was a lot of gaps in the story. First, I did not feel the build up between the main characters. The title literally says twisted devotion, I assume automatically that one of them is obsessed with the other but I did not see that obsession. And then there quite a few parts that have been repeated in both characters pov and I felt that some of it were a bit unnecessary.
Then throughout the book, I have noticed that the author would have started with some part of the chapter and just left that part incomplete. The book felt like there were a lot of gaps in between the chapters and that was not enjoyable. At one point I was just thinking what am I reading because it did not make sense.
Honestly, I don't know how I finished this but I did it. I don't think this is something I will ever read again and I think I will not be reading again from this author if this is what her other books will be like.

Found this book, {Twisted Devotion by Reiya Knight}, through Sasha Leone’s (author) IG page and so happy that I did! This was a very good dark mafia romance book! It checked every dark-mafia box I love:
✅ arranged marriage
✅ strong FMC
✅ OTT, obsessive/possessive MMC
✅ touch her and 💀
✅ he falls first
✅ light BDSM
✅ good smutty scenes
✅ straddling sex positions (one of my fave positions)
✅ HEA
MMC Nicolas and FMC Aria are from rival families but FMC forced into an arranged marriage with MMC. He’s obsessed with her at first sight so he’s up (if you know what I mean) for the marriage. There is a lot happening within the city and her brother believes it wise to marry her off to another mafia boss, except he wants her to spy for him, to steal his ‘plan’. Of course, Aria starts to have serious feelings for Nicolas. Will she get caught? Will his obsession be his downfall?
It was an ok read, did need another proofread, I bypassed them to continue the story. Some of it was predictable, there was spice, violence as expected but there was no need for the last part, it just didn’t bring anything to the story imo.

A really enjoyable read, can't beleive it's a debut! Nicolas Paolo a powerful mafia boss and enemy to Aria's family. But alliance's must be made and Aria finds herself immersed into marraige to find out information for her brother. In return she gains her freedom to live how she chooses. A slow burn really, as hate turns to love.
Lots of action, steam and a good plot making this a good recommendation for any mafia romance reader fans. Look forward to reading the next book by Reiya, hopefully in the same world but I'm sure whatever she writes next will be great.

Somewhere an editor gave up and it shows.
Reasons:
1-misspelled words
2-grammatical mistakes
3-confusing details in the same scene (genuinely can’t tell what they look like or what they’re doing)
4-moving to a point then going back to before that
5-it’s not dual pov if the next chapter doesn’t complete the scene but re-tell it from the other pov
Overall :
Rushed story with no plot,twist or character depth only lust and some boring drama
Again i have no clue what the mc looks like

This book ruined italics for me. Jesus Christ, every other sentence had at least two words italicized.
Characters were okay. Aria was annoying and too curious for my liking. I get it, her brother was her only family left, but stop listening to every word he says.
Nicolas wasn’t as big bad and scary as the first few chapters made him to be. He was actually kinda sweet in a way? Maybe a grumpy teddy bear?

ARC review for Twisted Devotion, a dark mafia romance. I absolutely ate this story up!! Nicolas is filthy obsessed with Aria. Great plot and characters, the spice was hot, and the relationship between the two was lit! With an HEA at the end, it’s a perfect story to pull you out of a reading funk.

This is an excellent arranged marriage, dark mafia romance. The plot is exciting and steamy. Nicholas is obsessed with Aria and I loved it! There’s action, drama and plenty of spice. Awesome read!

I’m not lying when I say I read this in 3 hours or maybe less. I love Aria and Nicolas they are so cute and have so much chemistry🫶🏼He treats her like the queen she deserves to be. Btw I stayed up till 3 to finish it😭🙈

Typical mafia hate to love romance. Pretty good story line. The spice level is maybe 🌶️🌶️. Nothing out of the ordinary, except it might have been a bit tame for a mafia story. I didn't hate it but it really didn't keep me enthralled.

The story in this book was great but the fmc truly grated my nerves about how she treated mmc.. I liked the hea, but Aria was a literal brat and not in a good way!
