Without fear or favour : An autobiography By Joginerder Singh is an inspirational book for all. Its important part is selection in IPS and allotment of Karnataka Cadre where he works hard to study and participate in proper inquiry and ultimately control crime in a vast Commissioner's area. He has mentioned many stories to prove his point. He does not leave his responsibility of maintaining peace and tranquiity in area under his charge to other subordinates. Description about his marriage and how he misses the car in which he has to travel as a groom and ultimately how he reaches in time for the marriage - is interesting reading. His posting in New Delhi brings in new opportunities about security issue of gate entry passes in secretariat etc. His posting in agitating Punjab puts up higher responsibility to control crime and maintain moral of this troops who are considered lower by Punjab Police and how he develops co-operation which results in better information system and control over crime. His posting in CBI with important national level cases under inquiry and how he maintains integrity and continues his work- is now history. Apart from his autobiography He has written inspirational books for all. This book is worth reading for all.
