Jackson has made a name for himself as Hollywood’s favourite thrill-seeker. There’s nothing he loves more than his action packed career jumping off buildings, crashing cars and fighting bad guys on camera. But when the girl he can’t get out of his head finally gives him a shot, Jackson is left wondering if his career is worth the dangerous consequences.
Rosie
Rosie likes to play it safe, preferring to work behind the scenes. With her best friend happily married, a toxic family to juggle, and a steady but unfulfilling job, she’s content keeping things simple. Safe. But when the charming action star who’s been haunting her thoughts shows up with that signature grin and a promise of one unforgettable night, Rosie throws caution to the wind—just this once—swearing it will never happen again.
Until six weeks later, two little lines make it a bit difficult to forget it ever happened.
✨ accidental pregnancy ✨ celebrity ✨ homebody FMC ✨ he falls first ✨ found family
This was just the sweetest and most swooning book! I picked this up from the tropes and how stunning the artwork was, and reading another new to me author, I was blown away. This story had so many layers to it.
Jackson was the stoniest MMC for seeing Rosie and wanting nothing else but her. The ONS leading to a life tied together and this man being okay with getting some of her if that’s all he can get, to wanting to take care of her. The way he showed u for both his girls. And Rosie are FMC was such a character I could relate to, her complex family dynamic and being a homebody. I love watching her find herself more within this story but also knowing how she feels craving her parents approval.
There’s such a good found family trope. This book just felt like such a warm hug, low internal conflict adding in just the right amount of external conflict. The spice was spicing and I will for sure be adding this author to my auto read list after this one!
this was great. Jackson Harper the MAN THAT YOU AREEE, i love you
mini spoiler (not really): the reason its not a higher rating is the entire plot with her family and the dynamics. because it never got explained why they acted like this or anything. i wish we got that.
I liked it but I don’t loved it. The family dynamics were so bad and weird, we never had any information on what happened with the sister for the relationship turn out like this; we don’t know why her father was detached from the situation. Baby shower situation: I would have to spin off immediately. Why her mother had done that? ( at the end doesn’t explain it) How they communicate their relationship with the world? Why she was always crying?! I think this could have been so much better. I think I need more information in some of the things that happened here. He was a very supportive and affectionate partner, he was so understanding and protective of her, but she was doubtful of everything it was annoying.

I really hate her sister. Sabotaging everything and the mother who is so wrong to shield the sister rather than her.I would have not forgiven her.Sweet Jackson.Even if it was an unexpected pregnancy from only one night,he loved her,and they both got a sweet healthy baby.I felt the stress in my bones when the sister was on page😵💫
Tropes: ONS Friends to Lovers Accidental Pregnancy Celebrity Romance Fun on a Balcony Curvy FMC Maid of Honor x Best Man Set in London He Falls First
I love an accidental pregnancy romance and this hit the mark! Plus, it's Maid of Honor x Best Man!!
Rosie and Jackson met through their mutual friends and both were instantly attracted to each other, but Rosie doesn't believe that someone like Jackson could actually be attracted to her. Well, their ONE adventurous time together on the balcony was the first step to their HEA.
After Rosie finds out she's pregnant, she knows she has to tell Jackson, but doesn't know how to get in touch with him; when suddenly he appears on her doorstep and it was an eventful night that started the rest of their journey.
I loved how their relationship grew. It was gradual and even though there was a strong attraction, they were also becoming friends to co-parent and eventually they realized they were meant for so much more than friendship!
They were both so supportive of each other, I loved their moments, the big and the small! Jackson was there for Rosie every step of the way, especially when Rosie had drama with her mom and the paparazzi.
I loved the writing style of the author and how the story flowed so perfectly! I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
It was nice lighthearted read, but it just had too weird and big time skips. Like come one let a girl have a good in depth steamy scene! But I like the characters and their struggles, just wish there was a little more in this book... I know I can read the other ones in this series, but I just wanted a standalone with a HEA. At least I got the HEA.
Story of Rosie & Jackson. Jackson is a movie star, getting famous for playing an action hero. Rosie does something about film editing. It starts with them getting it on at a wedding. Strong start, however Rosie has serious self esteem issues. Then we see Rosie in her work. And I want to stab everyone she works with. It’s annoying this never resolves. And then her family are horrible. And in my opinion it doesn’t resolve and the whole drama at the end, Rosie doesn’t really stand up for herself enough. She’s a freaking rug, getting walked all over by them. And how her grandmother is tucked out of the way in a home, terrible. So with all that as a backdrop, these 2 get together and it’s all pretty yawn. They don’t really talk about the future or coming out together. It’s all forced as drama. There were part that were enjoyable. But these things all bugged me.
I loved this story. Which was a surprise because I usually hate the accidental pregnancy trope, but I was locked in.
I feel like the writing got a lot better compared to the first book of the series, but maybe I could just relate to Rosie more than to Anya. At least the spice felt a lot more natural in my opinion.
Rosie is Anyas best friend and directly responsible for the job that sparked Anyas relationship with Danny. The couple appears in this novel as well and I was so happy to see them again. Anyway, Rosie gets pregnant after hooking up with Jackson, another actor and Dannys best friend. It‘s a one time thing, at least for Rosie, since she would never expect someone like JACKSON to fall in love with her. Her family did a number on her self esteem, especially her sister Cleo.
Words cannot express how much I hate that influencer bitch. And Rosie‘s mother? Fuck her, seriously. How can you behave like that and play favourites this obviously?
Jackson on the other hand has desired Rosie since their first meeting and falls head over heels for her. When he learns about her pregnancy, he just stays. There isn’t even a question in his mind about what to do. He will support her and their child in whatever way they need him. And his family also just accepts Rosie and she learns what living with loving family is like.
Of course some things go wrong along the way and Rosie as well as Jackson kind of refuse to voice their true feelings out of fear, but there is a happy end and I enjoyed the ride there immensely.
I loved how Rosie really thought about what to do and was aware of her options, but ultimately made the conscious decision to keep going with the pregnancy. It is very clear that it is her choice.
There are still some kinks to work out, though. I considered giving three stars because of them, but decided that I enjoyed reading this part of the series too much.
Like Rosies grandmother: I would have liked to see her again towards the end, but she only gets a small mention and that makes me sad. I would have loved to see an interaction with her and her grandgrandbaby, she was so excited when she learned about the pregnancy.
And Cleo deserved more severe consequences for her actions. She got off too easy I think.
So the inclusion of side characters in the story is something the author could work on. If they play such a big part in the story, they deserve some more attention before the end.
Otherwise it was a really fun book with many very sweet moments. I‘m excited to read more!
•EN• I just loved every second of reading it. Can I just put like that? No spoilers intended here, but it starts in a perfect way for my taste and it keeps the history interesting and *super* funny until the end. I had to tell my husband I was in love with Jackson. How could I not? The characters are great and even loved hating some of them! I don’t understand how this book is not super famous yet honestly. She writes so well and the plot is different than other romances I have been reading. It’s not obvious and for me it has to do with the beginning. Shout out to Francesca! Recommended and it is on KU!
Francesca, eu adorei! Recomendo a leitura! E está no KU!
4.5 ⭐️ - absolutely FLEW through this!! Rosie and Jackson’s relationship is so well-crafted, it’s easy to fall in love with them as the plot develops. This felt romantic, funny, spicy (🤭) and wholesome all at the same time. Side note: I think just hearing the names Andrea and Cleo will make my blood boil forever more.
This book is so sweet and fun! I love how it connects to the first book, I was so excited every time Anya came on the scene. The characters feel very real - the rage I felt for Cleo will never leave me! I particularly loved the Christmas scenes (maybe the author should write a Christmas book!!!). Can’t wait for the next instalment (really hoping it’s about Cassie 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻).
I received the ARC and thank you author for chosing me ☺️
This book is cute and such a fun read for me. The character is very loveable and I love that. The only I feel so pissed is when it's about the Rosie family especially Cleo. OMG. She is a bitch 🤬 and I really love how Rosie stood up for herself. The plot is nice like a typical romance novel but I really like this and this is also my second time read a celebrity romance. This is 4 ⭐ reads for me.

Honestly hates Cleo for sabotaging her sister, Rosie (our fmc) at every turn!!! This would've been one of the easiest most enjoyed reads for me in the past week, buttt— i hated how some things weren't handled well and just seemed like an after thought.
» for starters, when the news was leaked and they said we'll issue a statement, sue them blah blah— we never even got to see any of it. how they dealt with it! » then, we didn't get to see as much of her pregnancy as I would've expected being a pregnancy trope. » Jackson is an Actor but we never saw much of his acting life in depth.. other than the start and a bit in the middle but never properly. » how we never saw Cleo having any Conscience especially after the baby shower fiasco. or even how when the mum came back in scene she never told why she supported that decision. » very insta love which is fine. but we never saw a lot of their stages on page just mentions about it later on.. like when they moved, before Christmas.. the nursery setting up. » we also never actually have seen much about the MCs past, maybe we saw a bit about Jackson but not much about Rosie. which was annoying cause we only saw gist, to like get an idea of their past relationships (especially with their families) » how rosie's job was almost non-existent after the news leaked. like why didn't we get to see how that was handled? we just get an update almost towards the end that they nice and cordial? like hello??
there's a few more but these are the most important annoying ones that i remember at the top of my head. I find such loose ends irritating and they just suck the fun out of it.
✨ definitely one book that you'll enjoy if you can get past such things, it could very well be a 4 or even 5 stars read for some!!

💜HEA 💜Accidental Pregnancy 💜Curvy FMC 💜Movie Star MMC 💜Found Family
I’m completely aware that I just started this book yesterday… but I’m already finished. I LOVED this book. While I’m typically more of a darker vibe, I *literally* laughed out loud several times, got a bit hot & bothered (mostly towards the beginning), and even shed real tears towards the end. The banter is also fantastic! Rosie, the youngest of two and always second best in her family, has a pretty great one-night stand at her best friend’s wedding. Not too long after, she realizes she’s pregnant. She struggles with making the right decision for her and the pregnancy, as many of us do. The struggles of housing costs, insufficient wages, and potential single motherhood are mulled over. Jackson, a middle child to a wonderful family, just happens to be a movie star and madly in love with every single aspect of Rosie. He shares his struggles, passions, and life with her simply because he wants to. I didn’t read Keep It (The It Girls Book 1) prior to Forget It. Honestly, I was glad it was a standalone because of how long my current TBR is, but I genuinely adore Francesca’s character development, banter, emotional roller coasters, and just overall writing SO much! I will absolutely be reading it soon too!
The narrative centers on Rosie Taylor and Jackson Harper, commencing with their roles as the Maid of Honor and Best Man at their closest friends' wedding. They share a one-night encounter, if you can call it that, and oops, unplanned pregnancy.
They originate from distinct backgrounds—Rosie is involved in video post production, while Jackson is a well-known film actor—and various nations. Rosie resides in London while Jackson lives in LA but is originally from New Zealand.
This book features one of the most splendid celebrity romances I've encountered, making it a thoroughly positive experience. Rosie's profound sensitivity and Jackson's lasting affection had me utterly captivated.
This duo is undeniably my favorite; they possess an unmatched synergy. The way Jackson effortlessly trusted Rosie and was willing to look after her touched my heart. Rosie perfectly complements Jackson, an extremely creative person with a complex history. Through Jackson's admiration and commitment, Rosie, who experienced neglect and a lack of support from her family in her childhood, ultimately discovers the essence of genuine love.
I appreciated the cute clumsiness between the MMC and FMC, and the characters were richly developed. Who doesn't love an unexpected baby? I certainly do! I thought the storyline was thoroughly crafted. It was amusing to observe the author combine those two contrasting styles since she preferred staying in the background while he enjoyed being in the spotlight.
This book was amazing! It’s so underrated!!! I loved the protagonists, their story and their development throughout the novel!
The way Jackson (the MMC) literally fell and fought for her?! Like???😩 A man like this please or nothing! It all started with a one-night stand that resulted in an accidental pregnancy. I know lots of people don’t like this trope, the pregnancy trope in general. I personally don’t mind and think that it brings something plus/extra or special to the story.
I loved Jackson as much as Rosie. I think they complement each other so well and the fact that they knew each other even before they were together (they weren’t that close but their best friends are married together) allowed them to be more comfortable building a relationship, even if it came from a "mistake"... or not, haha😉 Jackson has always supported her from the beginning, he is undoubtedly one of the sweetest and most loving male characters I have ever encountered in a book. He even sacrificed his job to be by her side, fought against her family to preserve her honor, took care of her during pregnancy and cherished her. Protect him at all costs!!!😭❤️🩹 The way Rosie’s family tested my patience... no comment.😤 I’m so glad she was able to rely on her friends and build her family with Jackson.
Another thing that might bother some people (or not) is the fact that it is very steamy. If you don’t like reading smut, just don’t pick up this book.
I definitely recommend this book, it was such a cute story.
Tropes: • Set in London • Celebrity Romance • He falls first • One night stand • Accidental pregnancy • He calls her 'Pretty girl' • No third act breakup Smut level: 🌶️🌶️
Loved this. This was so lighthearted, romantic and just really feel-good. Has no 3rd act break-up and just a really supportive and loving mmc. Like he is way too good to be true, he's like so dreamy but oh myyy such a great mmc. The fmc is also great but I just loved the mmc more since I feel like the fmc is way too kind to the point that she just lets her own family walk all over her and it took quite a long time before she stood up to her horrible mother and her evil sister. Oh my, the sister made my blood boil! Hated the sister so much.
On the other hand, the side characters (the MC's friend groups) are so wonderful. This book also did the surprise pregnancy trope really well. Also, I am glad there wasn't so much of a push and pull thing here, I loved that both of them were pretty much all in the moment they realized their feelings. Also, I loved that the fmc is not like other pregnancy trope fmc's who continuously reject or turns down mmc's help, like gurl, as he should, that's also his child, it's just right you accept it and I am so glad she did and didn't make much fuss about it.
That epilogue was also so cute. I think the author is just a new author but I can tell she has a lot of potential. Her writing style easily flowed and she does know how to right really romantic scenes. Such an enjoyable read.
‘Forget It! is the second book in The It Girl series and is an interconnected standalone. That said, you do not need to read book one, ‘Keep It’, before ‘Forget It,’ but there are definitely spoilers for ‘Keep It.’
The story revolves around Rosie Taylor and Jackson Harper and begins with them being the Maid of Honor and Best Man at their best friends’ wedding. They have a one night stand, if you can call it that, and oops, accidental pregnancy.
They come from different worlds- Rosie works in video post production and Jackson is a famous movie star- and different countries. Rosie is based in London and Jackson is based in LA but from New Zealand.
The story that follows is a low friction read with no third act breakup. Very easy read and story of slowly falling in love. There is bullying and emotional abuse of FMC by family members, so if you’re sensitive to this, I’d avoid this book.
What to expect:
Celebrity romance (actor) Accidental pregnancy One night stand He falls first Set in London No third act break up Curvy girl FMC Golden retriever MMC Praise kink
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you Francesca Shaw for providing me with an advanced copy of this book!
love love LOVED!!! this was so good, i need more 😭
Rosie and Jackson have met in passing a few times due to their best friends being together but it all comes to a head the night of their wedding. Rosie steps out to get some air and Jackson follows her.. they hook up and then Rosie flys home to London and Jackson goes back to LA.
“This was a bad idea.” “It was one of my best actually.” “I think it would be for the best if we just forget it ever happened.” “I don’t know if I can do that.”
Neither of them can stop thinking about the other and a few weeks later, Jackson shows up at Rosie’s doorstep after landing a role in a film shooting in London. Rosie is in tears immediately after she sees him because she just found out she’s pregnant and needs to tell him.
Jackson in ALL IN the moment (okay 5 minutes after) Rosie tells him the news. The two start building a friendship which slowly turns to more. And there’s nothing Rosie’s sister can do about it, not that she doesn’t try..
-accidental pregnancy -celebrity MMC -one night stand -he falls first -actor x producer -no third act breakup
I love an accidental pregnancy, and Francesca delivered well! Quiet, nerdy Rosie hooks up with Hollywood star Jackson at their best friend’s wedding, and despite her birth control she ends up pregnant.
When Jackson shows up at her apartment roughly 2 months later while filming in London, Rosie bursts into tears and confesses their situation.
Jackson is such an honorable MMC and he never waivers in his support Rosie. He’s known for ages that he wants more than their hookup, but he’s patient and taking whatever pace Rosie sets. Jackson knows no matter what he will be a part of their daughter’s life and parent alongside Rosie.
Rosie’s family is AWFUL. Her sister is a stuck up, self centered socialite who is praised by their horrendous mother. All while their father watches idly from the side without ever stepping in.
With Jackson, his family, and her amazing group of friends, Rosie finds herself-and their baby-bursting at the seams with love and support.
Thank you Francesca for a chance to ARC read and review! I can’t wait to catch up on Anya and Danny’s story!
This was my first Francesca Shaw book, and I picked it up because I saw it featured a curvy heroine and not just as a side note. Rosie is curvy, soft, and smart, and the story actually lets her be complex. She’s not trying to shrink herself or play it cool. She’s real, and I saw pieces of myself in her.
Jackson? Total chaos man. He’s a Hollywood stunt guy with too much adrenaline and not enough grounding. Until one night with Rosie turns into something way more complicated (and emotional) than either of them planned. I thought I was here for a spicy celebrity romance, but I stayed for the actual heart in this story. Watching them figure out what they want, what scares them, and how to grow together? That’s what romance is about for me.
Also…Jackson falling headfirst into dad mode? Whew. My heart.
I flew through this one. It had just the right mix of heat, depth, and softness. Francesca Shaw is 100% on my radar now.
Tropes: - Surprise pregnancy - Celebrity x regular person - One night stand - Grumpy x guarded - Found family vibes - Curvy heroine / plus-size rep - Second chance at real love
I wasn’t prepared for how much this story would own me. This was my first read from Francesca Shaw—and also my very first ARC from her—and I can already tell it won’t be my last.
There’s just something magnetic about the way she wrote these characters. I found myself completely drawn to their dynamic—so soft, so genuine, so deeply felt. The way he showed up for her without question? I melted. The way she finally allowed herself to be loved fully and truly? My heart was all in.
Their connection felt like a quiet storm—steady, powerful, and unforgettable. The kind of love that doesn’t scream but stays. I loved how their individual scars made their bond even stronger. Francesca captured that beautifully.
This story reminded me what it means to be chosen—not just loved, but understood. It’s the kind of romance that stays with you long after you finish the last chapter and find yourself just… sitting there, smiling and aching in the best way.
Forget It was a beautiful book and I absolutely loved Jackson (MMC) and Rosie (FMC).
Jackson was such a sweet and fun character and a grade A Golden Retriever if ever I did see one. He warmed my heart with the way he was with those he loved and respected. He stood up to those who needed it and I just couldn't love him more. He is a daredevil with a heart of gold.
Rosie, my dear Rosie. She was so refreshing and just exuded love and strength. She persevered through things that would have brought other people to their needs. For someone who had to deal with what she had to deal with, she was a sunshine girl at heart.
Rosie and Jackson are perfection and I am so glad I was able to get this eARC from Shaw. I was crying at the end and I would read more with these two, even if tangentially.
This book was an incredibly wholesome ride and stands out as one of the best celebrity romances I've ever read. I'm utterly captivated by Jackson's unwavering affection and Rosie's profound empathy. This duo is undoubtedly my favourite; their dynamic is simply unmatched. My heart melted at how readily Jackson trusted Rosie and was instantly prepared to care for her. Jackson, a deeply creative character with a complex past, finds his perfect match in Rosie. Rosie, who grew up feeling ignored and uncared for by her family, finally discovers what true love means through Jackson's compliments and devotion. Overall, this was a truly wholesome read, and it's definitely going straight into my comfort-reads collection! 😍
Tropes- Celebrity Romance Surprise Pregnancy One Night Stand He Falls First Set in London Curvy FMC
I love Rosie so much because I feel so relatable to her. I have so many similarities to Rosie, the shy, the overthinking habit 🥲 I also love Jackie! I’ve always like my man grumpy but oh Jackie the man that YOU ARE 😍 But the story in my opinion jumps too much from one scene to another. Like I need to see the process behind those scenes. One chapter we’re still figuring out about Jackson’s baby then the next chapter we got to see Jackson accompany Rosie to get check up 😅 I want to see how happy and excited and touched Jackson when Rosie asked him to go to check their baby for the first time and so much other scenes. Also I think the conflict is too many and too complicated for just a book. But I’ve having so much fun reading this. It’s really a fun silly giggling kicking my feet romance time 🥰

This has been without a doubt a favourite book of the year. It is currently 3.55am as I type this, and I’ve only just finished the book.
I want to stay in the world of Jackson and Rosie for the rest of my days, because that was utter perfection. Green flag, cosy feels perfection.
I’ve always said I’m an accidental pregnancy kinda gal, but this was absolutely beautiful. So sweet, funny and special. Jackson steps up incredibly, there’s no question about his intentions or motives. He was so dreeaaaaamy.
And Rosie was absolutely adorable.
Her family?? Never related so much, but the less we say about that the better. How lucky we are to have authors who write our stories to make us feel seen.
