Ok this book was really fun! I mean there’s only so much you can expect when it comes to a woman falling in love with fog😅 but with Abigail if there’s a will then there is a way!

Cal was so sweet 😭 really wanting human connection and affection after being alone for so long. Listening to his life story and Elise realize he needed to be cared for in more ways than he could think was the best part of this book. Her love letters to him and the growth he experienced with her was just so sweet truly😭😭😭

I can’t say enough good stuff about this one other than it’s just so sweet! and we even get a cameo from another book in the series during this one!

Lovely paranormal romance

Kelly's worldbuilding is brilliant, her characters are memorable, and the books should be read over and over. Cal is amazing, and Elise is wonderful. I enjoyed this story the second time as much as I did when I read it in Fragile Beings.

A re-read of this novella was just what I needed now that it’s been published separately! Cal is my man my man my man 😩 I love him and Elise together so much. So much tender love and genuine care on Elise’s part and so much feral obsession from Cal, just fantastic. One of my favorite couples of all time!
