Reaching For The Poisonous Berry: poems from a depressed mind

Rate this book
In the previous book, I illustrated how my depression distorted my perception, and deprived me of what made me human. In this poetry collection, I want you to experience the unbearably sharp contrast between the hopeful-, and hopeless The ordeal of getting everything back — just to lose it again.

I embellished some of my poems with instant pictures I took over the past few years, in hope they will aid the transition from the written word to the felt emotion.

I'm happy to share with you my longest nights and shortest days.

I have the same criticism for this than for the first book. The author has got so much better, and I consider him to be one of the best in his field. "Instagram Poetry" can be good, when an author puts effort and works on their skill, this is a great example in my opinion.

The poetry in this second book is just as dark, but edited better (which I was longing for in the first collection). It has more flow and rythm than "The Last Rose".

Poignant, heartbreaking, and extremely hard hitting. It breaks my heart to feel so seen within the pages.
