Wild as hell is an accurate account of many short stories in the days of the old West. You get historical research, which was very accurate. Life in the 1850s is hard for us to imagine living in our air-conditioned homes, air condition cars and grocery stores packed with everything imaginable you could want not to mention Amazon at your beck and call. I like stories of the old West when they are accurate. The author Christensen did not embellish anything and only reported things he was sure of.
