Things aren't always as they seem. I've learned that lesson more than once since I met Cane Stephens.

My life had become a never ending emotional rollercoaster, and I wanted off.

I fucking hated the turmoil.

But I loved him.

How had my life become such a mess?

Scarlett lives in the Midwest with her sexy husband, two girls, and three furbabies. She dabbled in writing right after college but it wasn't until she took up blogging about eight years ago that she started writing seriously. After writing a few boring service pieces for some online publications, she went back to her true passion, fiction. When she's not busy writing steamy stories, she can be found with her nose in a book, camping, or geocaching with her family. She loves Diet Coke, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and 80's hair bands.

I am a fan of Scarlett Metal's writing and have enjoyed several of her books including the first book in the series, All I Need. While I am enjoying this series as a whole. This installment has caused me a bit of pause in marking it as a "loved it" book. I'm sure it was the author's intention because of the nature of the story; however, I found both Cane and Lindsey to be a bit — shallow — is the best word I adjective that I can think of. Neither seemed to consider how their actions would impact the people around them and the bed partner dosido caused me a bit of consternation. I just didn't care for the fact that they used other people to assuage their physical desires, almost immediate after they were with one another. That's just my personal hang-up but others may not be troubled by it. I liked the surprise "wife" at the end of Volume 1 and was hoping to get a bit more information about Ms. Destiny. I could see the threads of the story being woven throughout this installment and am looking forward to seeing what Metal does with her, and to understand they "why" behind her actions.

The All I Need series is written in serial installments so they are quick, bite sized, sexy reads. Discounting my sole issue about the couples actions between the sheets, I am enjoying the series and hope to see more character growth from them. If you enjoy rocker romances then this is a series that you will enjoy.

This second novella picks up right where Volume One ended so it’s a must that you read that one first.

Lindsey has just had the shock of her life when she returns to Cane’s hotel room and meets his wife. Cane is left speechless because of course he doesn’t remember getting married. I must say I was so nervous as I devoured this novella not knowing what to expect. We all know Cane from the first volume and he is definitely a man who you never know what to expect from one minute to the next.

As the novella progresses and we get more of the truth, we also see Lindsey and Cane’s relationship deepen. Not only do you get scorching results from the attraction they have for each other, but also you get a deeper side of Cane that I just loved. He’s not only a bad boy rocker who is sexy as hell, but he has such a sweet and caring side with Lindsey.

“I’ve never been in a relationship before and I never thought I wanted one. Until you. You make me want to try.” – Cane

As I’m reading their story and wanting their happy ending, of course there’s always something else that will come along and try to keep them apart. Will their love survive? I’m dying to know!! I’ve always been a fan of Scarlett’s and this series is one that is proving to be one of my favorites! It’s a quick read that gets right to the point with a great love story with hot and steamy scenes added into the mix. I give this one 5 stars and Scarlett, I’m ready for more!!

Lindsey can't below Cane lied to her about being married. She thought she was more than a notch on his belt, but apparently not. She was having feelings for him but that was stupid or so she thought.

Cane was so upset that this girl showed up to his room and informed him she was his wife, but what he was upset was he thought he was finally getting somewhere with Lindsey. He didn't understand why seeing the hurt in her face affected him, he was Cane Stephens, he could have anyone he wanted, but the only one he wanted was her and was out of his reach.
Lindsey and Cane must clear the air before something else happens and make their relationship harder than what it is. But can they solve their problems before someone get hurt?

This book was more intense than the first and I love it. Cane Stephens is a bad boy with a good heart, yet he doesn't know it. I can't wait to read volume 3.

I recommend for you to read this. If you guys haven't this is your chance to do so.

Sex + Roc 'N Roll = Great Story

Part two picks up exactly where part one left off!! The relationship between Came and Lindsey is filled with speed bumps and hurdles, along with all the heat and passion.

Scarlett Metal has given us another story that leaves us craving more by the final page. I cannot wait for part 3 to see what happens.

I highly recommend this book. If you are not a fan of Scarlett Metal, this series will make you one :)

Still sexy. I was a little surprised at how short the book was, but forever thankful that I had the last installment waiting for me!!!
