Beast (Riptide MC 3): A Riptide MC Romance

by Anne Kane

Her ex wants her dead. I’ll make him wish he’d never been born.

Piper -- Discovering my ex was heir to the Las Vegas mafia totally freaked me out, but we parted as friends. Or so I thought. Now he wants me dead. I barely made it out of my house alive. I knew I couldn’t go back, so I called my father in Georgia for help. His solution? He sent a biker to bring me home. Imagine my surprise when the biker turned out to be my one-night stand from a few months back.

Beast -- A one-night stand with a sassy stripper in Las Vegas left me wanting more. I couldn’t get her out of my mind, so a few months later I went back to find her. That didn’t go so well. She’d disappeared, with no forwarding address. Fate’s way of telling me to forget her?

I was getting ready to head home to Georgia when Ace called and asked me to do a favor for Riptide’s FBI contact. His daughter was in San Diego, and some thugs were gunning for her. She needed protection and transportation. I was close enough to offer both in a hurry. Turns out Fate has a sense of humor. I’m not sure how happy my little stripper was when I showed up to rescue her.

This book contains violence, adult situations, bad language, and a very protective alpha male hero. It is part of the Riptide MC series but can be read as a standalone. There is no cheating, no cliffhangers, and a guaranteed happily ever after.

About the author

Award winning author Anne Kane lives in the beautiful Okanagan Valley with a bouncy little rescue mutt(Merlin the Wonder Dog), a slightly larger rescue dog (Lexi the Bouncy) a cantankerous Himalayan cat (Jeff), and too many fish to count. She has two handsome sons and seven adorable grandchildren. She's always been fascinated by science fiction and fantasy so of course when she writes, she lets her imagination take over. The one thing the reader can always count on is that the main characters will live happily ever after, even if they have to defeat a few nasty aliens first.

When she's not busy writing the next great novel, she likes to kayak, hike, ride motorcycles, swim, skate, practice karate, play her guitar, sing and of course, read.

Beast and Piper

Beast, who is a member of Riptide MC has a mission and that is to rescue a woman who thought she was in good graces with with her ex only to find out he wants her dead. Beast and Piper are not total strangers especially after that one night they spent together a bit ago. This is a fast-paced MC romance that has a lot packed into this quick read with twists and turns, steam and drama. One thing is for certain; Beast is not letting Piper go this time around.

Drake was her ex in Vegas where she learned that he's the heir for the most vicious mafia family in Vegas. He didn't seem to mind the breakup months ago. Why does he want her dead now? Piper had never known her father since her mother,a stripper, had an one-night stand. Piper found him when she did a DNA test after turning 18. An FBI agent whom she met once and lives in Georgia. She calls him and he starts the ball rolling to protect her by having a biker who does security for the FBI sometimes. Bigger shock when Johnny aka Beast is the protector. Follow their cross-country trip where sparkles. Plus more questions arise and answers don't fit as expected. Is there more players in the background pulling the strings?.

This is the first book of this series that I've read and I really enjoyed it! Beast and Piper had a connection in the past and he was so hooked on their night together that he's been gently searching for her, ever since. Thankfully, fate stepped in and he gets sent on a mission to provide safe escort for an FBI agent's daughter...none other than Piper ;P These two are quick to resume their hot connection but danger is following. I loved the twists, drama, danger and hot romance as these two worked their way to a fab HEA. I'm looking forward to reading the previous books whilst waiting for more to come. Good fun!

From the start we have action. Pipers’s ex who she believed were still friends, but she soon finds herself running for her life. Calling her dad for help, he sends a biker yep a biker. Not the any one the one she had a one night with a few months back called Beast.
Beast is as much shocked to see Piper again and this time he is not going to let her go.
None stop action, twists and turns, spice, drama and surprises.

Beast is book 3 in the Riptide MC series and is Beast and Piper's fast-paced, quick read. Piper finds herself in quite a mess with her ex when things aren't exactly as she thought they were. Lucky for her, her Dad has friends in "high places" and Beast is sent to her rescue. This story is short but don't be fooled, it packs quite a punch into these pages with plenty of surprises, twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Beast’s Caged Bird Sings

Beast and Piper’s story was a great mix of NC, FBI , Mafia and Cartel business and misinformation. It was at turns hilarious and hot with bullets flying and clothes falling off ! Loved the banter between them. 5✨’s and I can’t wait for book 4 to come out.

Beast & Piper

Beast was heading for home on his bike, when he was asked to pick up a certain person, and keep her safe. These two had already had a one night stand. I highly recommend this author.
