This busy business woman can be found spending quality time with her husband and children when she is not indulging in a little reality television drama, for inspiration purposes of course.

She spends her Friday nights and long work day lunches in bed with her boss and friend Dawn. When their dirty secrets come to light and hit too close to home, can their marriage survive the rollercoaster ride of deception?
Niyah Moore’s “Guilty Pleasures” is a well written story for the most part with few grammatical errors. Since the story line kept moving, it was hard to predict what was going to happen and it is important to pay attention to the story. While I felt there were parts of the story that dragged and played out unrealistically, “Guilty Pleasures” contains enough drama to keep a reader engaged.
Lawd have mercy, I blew through this book. Aboslutely loved the flow, the drama and the characters. My mom and I both had this read this in just under two days. i got to the end and wanted more for sure.
Guilty Pleasures was the first book that I have read by Niyah Moore. I read this based on a recommendation, and I can say I was not disappointed. This author is among those who truly have the talent for writing versus those who write because of possibly obtaining the fame. I do not believe in sugarcoating opinions on books so if I feel a book is great or not so great I will let that be known. I feel that is what a review should be about “honest opinions”. Guilty Pleasures is now on my list of the captivating and emotion extracting books I have read. However, there were minimal grammar/spelling issues; however not enough to take away from the book. The storyline flowed and related to so many real world situations. It actually could have been storyline from “Jerry Springer” based on the amount of drama.
Jada (Ms. #2): I was sad at the way things went in her situation. Unfortunately, when you are the one trying to move up and someone else is in the main spot you’re usually the one who gets hurt the most. Sometimes you have to know which battles to walk away from and which to fight.
Roxi (Mrs. BiPolar): I think she got too comfortable and too routine that her secrets came out. Roxi was too obvious and oblivious to see that which ended her cover up sooner than it had too. Love can make you act irrationally when you feel backed into a corner. She went off the deep end and will forever have to deal with it … nothing will ever take that type of pain away.
Hassan (Mr. Indecisive): The typical “play the fence” type. In some ways, he wanted his "cake and eat it too" but that wouldn’t have worked. The center of attention wasn’t working to well for him because he had to make the decision he didn’t want to or go with the flow that would affect so many. The question ended up being who do you protect when it comes to life or death?
Dawn (Ms. Pretender): What is there to say about her other than the façade fades eventually. No matter how much you try not to embrace love at some point it finds you, and you want to hold on to it by any means necessary. Only thing is your actions can make you lose the love you were fighting for in the beginning. Tough exterior but weak emotions can lead to heartbreak. How you get into a relationship with someone is usually how you lose them. Hopefully, she learns from her actions so that she can move on…
Niyah Moore was able to bring out the real life aspects in all of the characters in the book. I will not give too many more details. Guilty Pleasures is a book that I am glad I read and will be looking into more of the author’s work.
It’s a tale of twisted truths and lies, temptation, manipulation, betrayal and ultimately the guilty pleasure of thinking you can have the best of both worlds without facing the consequences of your choices, choices that could turn deadly.
WOW..... I read this book non stop. This was a very well written story of love versus lust, erotica versus passion, deceit and betrayal against forgiveness.
The imagery was awesome. I could picture the story happening before me. Each character in this story interacted with each other in such a way that imaginary lines between their relationships became blurred. The author mixed together forbidden love triangles and platonic relationships to the point that everyone was involved with each other in some sort of way.
That was just a wild ride. Every last person in this saga was doing dirt and they were all basically doing the dirt to one another. I guess since they were all all connected in some way it was hard to avoid.
The characters: Hassan, his wife Roxi, her lover Dawn and Dawn's sister Jada, Dawn's assistant Victoria and Hassan's friend Ivan.
Sadly, there was no one here that I could root for. I thought it would be Hassan or Victoria, but they both let their situations change who they were.
One thing for sure, this story is the epitome of the phrase, two wrongs don't make a right.
Wow! I was a little skeptical early on that this book would lack substance but it did not disappoint at all! I enjoyed reading about the web of sex, lies and betrayal amongst the main characters. And the side story with Ivan and Victoria was equally interesting and kept my attention. I wasn't expecting some of what transpired and that made the book that much better. I will be reading more by Niyah Moore and definitely recommending her work to others.
Just finished reading Guilty Pleasures And I loved it..Held my attention from the 1st page. The length some woman would go through for a man is crazy. Was not a fan of Victoria at all Hassan was no saint either But Jada was my favorite character. Hoping it will be a part 2 I need more!!
predictable plot with marginally developed persons, basically a sex charged novel where the relationships are superficial and belies common sense. I thought these were educated folks
Wow that book wasn't wat I expected lol.Damn everyone had they own secrets.I can't believe Roxi and Dawn lol that was hella crazy.Damn I'm pissed about the situation with Jada. But Vicki and Ivan that was crazy to need to learn trust and respect for they relationship.
This book was awesome. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Glad that I didn't have to read a part 2 to finish the story. Great job. You're one of my new favorite authors.
Great read, at first I was sure I was going to like it, but as I continued to read , the author brought the storyline to life she capture and kept me reading.
