Take a trip to the coast of Maine
Fun, little series that takes places in a small coastal town in Maine and has an old family in as its center stage. The story lines are light hearted but interesting enough to keep you reading. I had the luxury of being able to read it nonstop while recovering from an illness. It kept me delightfully entertained and renewd my longing to visit the State of Maine. That being said, there are little inconsistencies between the eight books that drove me crazy at times. Things like a main character being just shy of 70 in one book and in her late 70s in the next while the continuing storyline is inly a few weeks later. Or a main character having had a longtime career in New York City for seven of the books with it switching to Boston in the last. A little irritating, but not enough to pass on the series. It was a fun read.

Lobster Bay may be full of history and mysteries, but its full of love as well
Three lifelong friends share their stories in this box set. You will meet their families, friends, spouses, residents from Lobster Bay and those who move in, and so many delightful characters. My favorite is Bunny and her relationship with Sam is just a sample of good people being important to so many other peopke . So sit back dream of a chocolate chip or bran muffin from Sandcastle Bakery in a comfy chair overlooking the bay at The Tides with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee just watching all the going on's of the delightful folks of Lobster Bay. Plan on staying a spell :)

Refreshing Read
I really enjoyed reading about the ladies of Lobster Bay. The characters were believable, and the descriptions of Lobster Bay made me want to visit there.
I would love to stay in a place like Tides and have a circle of friends like these.
This story has characters that deal with life - the loss of a spouse, the courage to go on or renew an old love, or reignite a marriage; find forgiveness and a new career.
Totally loved this collection of stories.
Looking forward to more from this author.

Lobster Bay adjusting to a changing world!
Each character is introduced into the story of a small town and we see how their lives have changed over the years. Second chances bring confusion and excitement to the main characters. Good friends share their concerns about new relationships and enemies may become business partners! As a pet lover, the personality of each dog and cat brings smiles to my face as I remember funny tales about a few of our crazy dogs over the years. A fun read!

Great! Easy read!
I loved reading about the changes and relationships/friendships in the first 8 books. I didn't have to read uncomfortable torrid sex scenes to understand the intamacy the characters shared. The series continues to draw me in with the character twists (ie Sandee) and with my mom in a senior care place, it is good to read about the journey people take with dementia of a loved one. I highly recommend the series

A beautiful series of books about family and friends
Each book kept me reading to see how each person intertwined with another person to help them achieve their dreams. Always there to support each other.

Bonds made run deep in Woman friendships
Enjoyable story of small coastal town families and friends with the draw to return to roots that run deep. Friends support and encourage each other to enter new adventures, grow healthy relationships and understand the history of their town.

Very nice light reading. The first few books in the series were very engaging. However, the last few got to be a bit too repetitive. There were some good plot threads, but in trying to make them part of the main character group things got a little drug out.
Overall a nice series of beach lovers books with good characters.

A Happy Read
the author does a wonderful job of fleshing out the characters with their trials, past histories, strong friendships . the small town life of Lobster Bay is idyllic and makes you want to go rent a cottage in a small town on the waterfront.

I enjoyed this series in the beginning. By the 6 book, everything seemed the same. Every person leaves Lobster Bay and comes back for an aging family member. I felt like I was repeat.

I'd love to live there!
I read the entire 8 books in the lobster Bay series, I felt like I was actually there. I love books like this.
Was a little confused why Hailey had 2 different spellings, Hailey and Haley. Did editing not catch that?
