The wait is over! This is the final book in this series that sadly took forever is released. What started out as a monthly series turned out to be months upon months worth of waiting. Believe me I have had my bitter moments about this time frame.

I also didn’t love the last installment which felt like a filler because I just wanted it to be about Henry and Eve. I mean Henry seems wonderful but his wife did hire Eve’s company to catch in him cheating. On the other hand, he seems to truly care about Eve and wants more from her and they have history.

So I jumped in bitter about the super slow release and the last book not getting anywhere with the story when BAM within the total 59 pages of this final book Nicole William’s wraps the series up in a very clever manner.

It was a completely shocking conclusion and I was left happy with how the series ended.

Eve is back from Tampa ready to finish the Callahan errand.

I have talked about this series with my friends and my biggest concern was that there really wouldn't be a conclusion that would make me happy. Do I want her with Henry? He cheated on her, but it is obvious there is more to the story. I have just struggled with whether or not I could forgive him.

Even if they wanted to be together, can she escape G?

So we have a lot to work through in this finale. In the end, I will say I am completely impressed with the twists and turns. I honestly didn't see things ending the way they did, but I am completely satisfied and impressed.

This is a review off al the books in the Great Exploitations series not just of this current book!
May contain spoiler from all 5 books!

I just have to come out and say it: Eve was a HIGH PAID HOOKER, very very high paid HOOKER with a Robin Hood complex (this because she thinks she's doing the world some good)!!! So there is no reason to tiptoe around it.

description

Now that I've gotten that out of the way let me tell you what I thought of this book.

In the beginning I wasn't over the moon with the story but I was curious about what would happen and I liked the idea of the books, the whole "secret society of women contracted by the wives of wealthy, powerful men for one reason and one reason only: to seduce their husbands.", so that's why I keep reading the books.

But I have a few questions:

How come she "transforms" in the first book for her "Target" (the name given to the men she's supposed to screw over, literally :P) and the she never changes her appearance for another Target?

description

How come she's this great sex goddess but all the sex scene (except The One...or better said THE TEN :P) sound in my mind a little like this?

description

And there where a few other inconsistencies but there is no reason to get into them :D

I really liked how all the story unravels in the last novel and I have to say I did not see that. I started to suspect what was going on in the last book but I was still surprised. I know you're wandering WTF I'm talking about but I can tell you because I would spoil all the fun :P

description

All in all it was a good read that I enjoyed and give it 4 stars. But If you want to read a book with great sex scenes then maybe you should try another book :P

The final installment of the GE series. Eve is still working her errand, her ten. Her Henry. But not every errand it what it seems. Although Henry devastated her when she found him in bed with another woman all those years ago, she can’t help but still have feelings for the man standing before her. As an Eve, she should know that not everything is as it seems. But Eve never saw this coming. Every question is answered and you’ll never see it coming.

This series is wrapped up nicely in the final installment, although it felt like forever for it to happen. I loved the idea of this story, the whole idea was something that was original. As you read each part you aren’t clued into the bigger picture until you are first introduced to the errand that was going to change it all – the same man that started it all.

Nicole Williams delivered a fantastic serial series held your attention from book one until the last. And slowly you get to meet the real Eve as the story develops. Sure you meet her in book one, but you see her with so many different masks that it isn’t until you see her with Henry that you really get a chance to see the real her. The revelations in this were unexpected. I was unsure as to how this could end. If there was a way that Henry could be redeemed.

But Ms. Williams pulled it off flawlessly. I loved watching this series morph into something that you never expected.

3.5 Estrellas!

An amazing did-not-see-it-coming end to a fascinating romantic serial that’s far from ordinary.
“It hadn’t been conventional or traditional or maybe even ideal, but it was ours.”

In this last and final installment of the Great Exploitations serial, I finally get the answers to all my questions. I would not have thought it possible for Eve and Henry to find a happy ending. I couldn’t fathom an explanation to which I could forgive his transgressions or him overlooking her current career choice, or if there was even a way for her to get out of it. But that's just the wonder of a great writer at work.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. I was first drawn to the first short story in the serial because of its appealing cover. Have you seen them? I think they’re both alluring and very appropriate for the books. I also found the premise intriguing in an almost impossible to fathom way. And lastly the very engaging Eve, the story’s main character, is a woman scorned but determined to find her happiness and freedom.

Eve works for a tongue-in-cheek group of women who “generate temptation in order to impart freedom.” In other words she deals with infidelity. Her “clients are the women who fell in love with a man with enough dollar signs behind his name to require a pre-nuptial agreement. That same woman who, months or years later, finds her beloved husband isn’t the loving, honest, and faithful person she’d hoped.” She is in “the business of great exploitations,” after she herself walked in on Henry, her fiancée, in bed with another woman five years ago.

During the course of each short we get to see Eve in action, which I must admit tested my limits and made me squirm. She basically sets up husbands to be photographed in the act… with her. But with each one there was a sense of justice in her assignment. We also meet Henry, her ex-fiancée and the man whose wife has hired the “Eves” to ruin.

Throughout the story Henry has seemed truly invested in Eve's wellbeing. He’s been nothing but wonderfully charming, supportive and understanding. Blurring the lines and making Eve forget her objectives.

“I’d let the same man whose life I’d wanted to ruin back into my life, and now that he was there, I’d do anything to keep him... How had I let that happen? I was smarter than that. I didn’t play the part of the foolish woman. How had I let a few words and vulnerable looks from Henry work against my better judgment?”

Every time Henry and Eve were together I loved their back and forth, which made this last installment a bit of a disappointment, since I would’ve liked a lot more interaction between them.

But Nicole wraps up this story in a shocking and ingenious way with a happy ending for Even and Henry that left happy and satisfied, with great appreciation for her writing because

Y enserio G no hizo nada......................

1. No sé por donde empezar.
2. Quiero citar ¡todo!
3. Comencemos.

P.D. Henry Callahan TE AMO. Tu si que sabes lo que es el amor.

L.a.m.e. Lame. This finale just felt thrown together. It had a different vibe from the previous books. The HEA came way too easily. It was completely unbelievable and cheesy. It wasn't a fitting ending, wasn't worthy of the buildup so far, wasn't worth the fifteen bucks I've invested in this series. What a let down.

What a waste of a really interesting idea ! I really liked the beginning but there was too many parts with Eve and her Errands and way too little times with Henry or G (I liked the Eves but we don't learn much about them).

Everything felt disjointed. The end was really rushed and disappointing !

It felt anticlimactic. What Henry did was a little too farfetched to me, partly because it was told. If the execution were different, like flashbacks from Henry's POV then this could have been a GREAT ending! I also find it hard to believe that G didn't know any of the Eves' pasts. Background check was a basic requirement to all jobs, so why not them? I thought they were a sophisticated "black ops" type organization...

I've been meaning to finish this series for ages, I mean it's very short but I've just not got around to it. Because it's a unique story I was able to pick up where I left off in the previous instalment. Boy, do things come to a head. The end is kind of convenient but none the less enjoyable. A great idea and well executed series.

I feel like i've waited forever for this! Nicole Williams did not disappoint in her final instalment of the Great Exploitations series with the loose ends being answered and a

I liked the twists and turns we took throughout the series and how it all ultimately took us to this final conclusion. The only tid-bit of an issue I had with this, and the reason it's not a 5 star rating is due to the ending. The ending seemed a bit rushed for me and while i'm happy i also have one question. If G is so powerful and scary since she pretty much got an Eve killed for trying to run I'm simply wondering and also thinking that maybe there's room for a mini-sequel. Just a few chapters? Maybe? Yes? Please?

We finally have our answers and I loved how this all came together! We finally get our answers as to what exactly went down with Henry and Eve all those years ago and while I knew it couldn’t be what it seemed, I did not expect it to be what it was. There were quite a few scenes that took me by surprise and who orchestrated it all kinda blew my mind. I really came to love Henry and Eve and I’m sad to say goodbye but I say goodbye with a happy heart. I adored how this ended and all the drama leading up to this point was so worth it. Once again, Nicole Williams did not disappoint.

Problems I had with this last installment

·Sort of deus ex machina plot twist.
·I already expected what happened. Not exactly as it happened, but I was expecting that kind of twist, so I wasn't that much impressed.
·Evie changed a lot, and it seemed to be a different character (or rather too OOC).
·I wanted another ending.
·Lack of communication was a hugetastic issue.
·Henry was some sort of creepy idiot. No, really, what the hell?

3.5 stars. The final part in the Great Exploitations series by Nicole Williams and I was not disappointed. This is a great series to read if you want a head strong woman (Eve) with an interesting career and back story.

The ending is VERY HEA which was to be expected I think. This is a romance with some sass and a New adult feel. I don't want to mention the story too much as its 5 books (Short novellas) and I don't want to give anything away. I will say I wish I'd learned more about G. I would have liked a little more drama at the end. The big reveal was a little predictable probably from about book 2 /3 when we met Henry and that's why this book got a 3.5 and not a 4. The series as a whole is a 4 and what was even better is it was free on Kindle Unlimited. I read these books pretty much in 1 day and will definitely be picking up more of Nicole's work in the future.
