Wow. According to this author's Amazon profile, he's a "therapist specializing in personality disorders". Frankly, I don't believe it. "Massage Therapist" who dabbles in amateur-psychoanalysis of his clients as he gives them a nice shoulder rub?? Now that I'd believe! This book reads as if he attended an introductory psychology class at the local community college on Tuesday nights, took some "very" rough notes, didn't proofread his notes, didn't have an editor look at his notes to correct the numerous typos and missing words, and then published his notes as an actual "book". The whole thing is a mess. And to top it off, he ends his "book" with some very strange rambling advice on how to deal with the psychopath in your life. The entire book is weird, infantile and a complete waste of time. If you want to discover some insight into Psychopathy, read "The Sociopath Next Door" by Martha Stout. If you find yourself stuck in a relationship with a sociopath/psychopath/narcissist and need support, I suggest following a Face Book group called, "Sociopaths and Narcissists: You've Had the Power to Break Free all Along".
Only wish there was more information. It seems that not all psychopaths are killers and not all killers are psychopaths! Good insight into the mind of psychopaths...people without a conscience. It seems they "think the world owes them something because they're here"! It's best to avoid them if at all possible.
My son and mother are both psychopaths. I wish I had known what the problem was when he was a child! It's important to add that a child with this disorder does not do well with punishment and will seek retaliation on the parent(s) that punished them. My son put peroxide in my shampoo at the age of 4 and when he found out that it made my hair orange, continued for at least a year! He accidentally told on himself twenty years later! He also would set dangerous traps for me...superglue on the banister to glue my hand to it. He would be nice to my friends and tell them about MY abuse towards him. His stories only coming to light after my friends helped him hurt me, albeit unknowingly most of the time. I will employ you're tactics to this toxic relationship. Wish me luck! Thank you for this enlightening read!
